I love this place. Great cuts good prices. Fast. Lisa is a very good barber as she even makes my head of hair somehow harmonious.

They always give great service and I've been going to Leetsdale Barbers for about 20 years.

Great cut and staff is wonderful. Very clean. Dylan is the man. It's a fun atmosphere as well.

I took my 7-year-old grandson to get a haircut. We needed to get an appointment because they were booked full at the time. The barber did a good job of making my grandson feel comfortable and in the end, my grandson was happy with his new haircut. The place is very clean and reminds me of a barber shop you would see in a movie. The barbers and customers conversed all together. The inside looks old-fashioned. The place is clean and the staff is fastidious ensuring the place is clean. I would recommend the place read more

Once again I had a great experience with Sean. He remembered my cut from last time and again gave me a great cut - in fact, it was better this time than last. He is definitely my dude going forward. Definitely recommend. read more

Sean did a great job cutting my hair - he fixed the mess created by my last barber. I'll be back.

Best string of haircuts I've had in a long, long time. Nice mellow place. Good conversation.

Very Helpful. Immediately welcomed me and set up an appointment for the next day. They were busy. Highly Recommended. Sean and James were great barbers to boot. read more

I have been going to this barbershop for over five years now and even though I don't live very close anymore, I cannot find a barbershop in the Denver metro that can compete with them. So I literally drive about an hour to get my haircut every month there because they are that good, and no one can compete with them on their skill combined with their price. You won't find anything better in Denver. James is my favorite though they are all good. You won't be disappointed! read more

Please was great. Humble and down to earth place. I will say I get a bit tired of how hip barbershops try to be. I don't give 2 cents about that and don't want to pay a premium for it. I just want a good haircut. Brian Popp was great to talk to. I enjoyed my time as much as my haircut. One of the best cuts I've had in recent memory. read more

They're a great local business, take care of you well, and do a great job with haircuts! I've gone there 2-3 times now, and have had a positive experience each time. Ask for James - he's solid. read more

Believe the hype. Simply the very best barbershop in Denver. No pretense, inflated prices or services the vast majority of men don't need or want. Just great haircuts at a reasonable price. Booking appointments online is simple and fast. James does top quality work and is also one of the owners and you can tell he takes great pride in his business. I feel quite fortunate to live so close to this long-time, very successful barbershop. read more

I thought I would give these guys a try and they are in range of where I live. I put my name on the round robin list, and ended up with a young guy. Only afterward did he tell me that he was a trainee. He took twice as long as I expected and I missed my next appointment. He also did a really poor job. No, I didn't get charged, but I came there to get a good haircut, which I would have been happy to pay for. Instead I get told after the fact that I had a barber in training. Just to be nice I tipped him anyway, but they lost my business and therefore merit only two stars. I posted a photo of his lousy haircut for my friends on Facebook, and they were very amused. At least I got some levity out of it, and of course as is the case with all haircuts, it did grow out. read more

Jeff was exemplary. Keen attention to detail. Overall a good experience and great haircut.

My experience at Leetsdale Barbers was phenomenal! Lisa, by far, provided the best hair cut... I have ever had. But it is not the hair cut that will prevent me from ever going anywhere else as long as I am in Denver--It is the people. Lisa and Paul are the very most friendly, caring, warm and professional people I have experienced in any business. You will not find more genuine people. It is ease to see why this place so popular. Well worth the short wait. The time, care, and precision given to each hair cut is only matched by the character of those delivering them. Reuel H. read more

James is the best barber I've ever had, and is an overall great person. This guy is my barber for life. Must visit, best shop in town.

UPDATE: Now after visiting this place more than 6 times, I can say with no hesitation that this location is a must go for someone who is looking for a barbershop that has experience, courtesy, and consistency. Not only are the cuts exceptional each time, they are also a great value. I seriously am impressed by their speed, attention to detail, and hard work. While there is a wait here and there, it is worth it. I am happy to have found this place, they all treat you like family would. read more

After the owner responded to my review and sent me a GC I tried them again. Leetsdale Barbers is a nice establishment that delivers quality haircuts. This barbershop does not take appointments so hit and miss on how long it will take to get a haircut here. Very friendly and water and soda is offered upon entering. read more

I went here the day before we had my dads funeral. He took me to a barber the first time I got a "proper" cut. Well it was easy to get an appt. I met Lisa. She did a great head shave. Came back a month later and she actually remembered me. She asked about my dads funeral. Customer for life. Oh and the owners are cool. Except for the Giants Fan. He's a tool. Go EAGLES. Are you a woman whose hair needs a barber's skills? This is the place! Every time I move to a new city, finding a barber is one of my biggest challenges.. I wear my hair short, it's crazy straight, and has multiple cowlicks.. no hair dresser can cut this, that's just a fact.. it needs a barber.. but finding a barber who is both skilled enough to cut it, and comfortable cutting a woman is challenging.. I am spoiled, my good friend back in New York is a superb barber, and she has spoiled me.. Anyway, I moved to Denver last summer.. had several disastrous haircuts & one decent one.. but I have already flown back to New York for one haircut( big event coming up, needed to look my best), and was considering another flight back East.. but I decided to trust YELP, and I found Lisa at Leetsdale... she is a really fun, kind person, but more importantly an amazing barber! read more

My man came back from this place just raving about the "old school" barber shop atmosphere and how incredibly awesome everyone is here! He's been growing his beard out for a while... and it was getting pretty wild! Paul trimmed his beard beautifully and straight razored his neck. We are super pleased with the results... and will become regular clients going forward! read more

Honestly, it has been three weeks and I am still miffed with what they did to my hair. I will say, this review is not based on skill (I think the talent is there) of the barber but personality and the hatch job they did on my hair. I have been looking for a non-douchey barber since moving here and they are just so hard to find. It's all about the cool factor to attract new clients, I get it. But I saw someone at the carwash and asked who cut their hair and she recommended Leetsdale Barbers. Sounds awesome. So I made an appointment a few weeks out. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 5-10 minutes early to a shop that looked like they were still building it out. I get accosted with not hello but do you have an appointment. That actually didn't register until later. I do and stated my name. The barber of my appointment didn't acknowledge me but the other barber said he'd be right there and I could wait on the bench or in my car and they would flag me when it was my turn. Not a problem. 35 minutes after my appointment was to start, I finally got called in for my cut. Still not really a big deal, I get getting backed up and am happy to give grace. I tried explaining what I wanted first and then I was going to show a picture but their shop is in an internet deadzone apparently. So I literally pointed at another customer and said that is the cut I am looking for but I guess that was confusing. Right off the bat the barber is unresponsive and we are not connection. Dear lord, why didn't I pick up the red flags. I had to at one point remind him that he was working on a head and being gentle would be appreciated. I finally get done and at that point there is not use complaining because there is no fix. My long hair is now super short (which I did want) but I can't style it at all. It sticks up from my head and I am miserable with the way it looks. I will never go here again, but not that I think they care anyway. It was hands down, the worst experience I have ever had. I would rather return to my prior douchebag barber and listen to him tell me how great he is my entire cut than go here again. Such a trash experience with a large implication for my personal look. read more

What an amazing experience!! I actually meant to call a different barber, hung up but they called me right back. First points for good service. Their opening hours fit my busy work schedule. Second points for great service. When I arrived everyone was very welcoming. Third points for an awesome service. The haircut that I got from Bianca was 100% what I wanted. And I'm normally not easily satisfied with my haircuts. She listens to details and works very thoroughly. I'm super happy for the outcome. Fourth points for an amazing service. During the haircut everyone was in a good mood and super friendly. Fifth points for an outstanding service. I'll definitely go back. read more

Great haircut. Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend if you are looking for a more traditional barber setting.

Not much of a need for long drawn out reviews here... these guys just rock! It's the feeling of a legit barber with people trained as such with a minor modern twist. Need to charge your phone, they got you. Cold bottle of water, yes sir. Flat panel TVs on sports. Good old fashioned casual ribbing between each other and customers known on a first name basis. And there's a lot of them. They make sure you feel special while you're there. My wife has cut my hair for 20+ years... now I need to figure out how to fire her gently. read more

This place is everything a classic barbershop should be. Classic and modern men's and boy's cuts well done. Super smooth shave or trim they do it all well. Shoe shining is consistent and well polished. Only place for my boys and I. Best in town! After many many years the accept credit cards too. I've personally had Paul cut my hair more than anyone, but Tyler has done a great job for me and always leaves our boys handsome. read more

Anyone with a head with hair on it (especially the fellas) should go get trimmed, lined & cut up at Leetsdale Barbers or their sister shop just up the road on Holly. All the barbers (my go to is James) make you feel right at home and give the best haircuts. These are real barbers and every one of them are pros at their trade. You'll be greeted as soon as you walk in by most, if not all, the barbers there. Sometimes you have to write your name on the board if there's a wait. To me, sometimes, the best part is the wait. I always have a good time at the barber shop. You're guaranteed some laughs. Anyone who wants to take part in whatever conversation is going on, is welcome, and those who don't will still be offered some coffee, water or pop while they wait. I have moved further and further from the shop, but will continue to head over there every few weeks for my cut and quality and customer service. Best barber shop in Denver, hands down. read more

Outstanding service and people. I got my first cut at Leetsdale Barbers today and Paul provided the best haircut I've ever had. No exaggeration, this place has the friendliest people and craftsmanship in the city. Can't believe I've lived around the corner 4 years and just found it, they have earned a new customer today. read more

I went here only once. The place is your basic barber shop and most employees seemed nice, pleasant and friendly. The one time I went in the owner was truly annoying and "clever". I am guessing he did not get enough attention as a child or perhaps he grew up in house with a bunch of sisters. The lady that cut my hair was nice & pleasant, she gave me a nice cut and I paid plus a nice tip. read more

Best haircut I've received in as long as I can remember. So glad I found a great barbershop not too far from home.

I recently flew in from out of town and needed a haircut bad. Jumped on Yelp to find this place and decided to give them a shot, despite them not being as "popular" as other places, mainly in downtown Denver. Walked in without an appointment and was immediately greeted by friendly faces, took a seat and waited probably 20 minutes for my turn during what seemed to be quite the rush for them. The barber who cut my hair asked me what exactly I wanted, made sure we were on the same page, and began his work. 30 minutes later I left with a $20 haircut that was better than most of the $30 haircuts I got back home! If I could take this spot back with me I would in a heartbeat. If I'm ever in the Denver area again, I'm definitely coming back to this place for their services. To all that are looking for a new barber, don't get fooled by the flashy marketing of the other "hip" places you'll find in this city and come give this place a chance! read more

It used to be a reasonable place to get a decent haircut. They just raised their prices 25%, from $20 to $25. Plus, when you pay by credit card, there is a request for a tip. It starts out at 20%. That means your haircut would add up to, $30. Come on! read more

Holy goodness and tidy trims Batman! these guys ( and Gals ) are the smartest dressed, most attentive and skilled Barbers in town and I'm not kidding. I got another haircut here today with a beard trim and I left there feeling so respectable I almost left the country and started a new life. I have visited this fine establishment for a few months now and I have never been disappointed. Dre was my skilled scissor master today, and he did a fine job ( ask my wife ) this place is always full of patrons and they have coffee and good banter on tap. I really do feel I got the best haircut I have had anywhere in Denver right here. It's easy to get to with lots of parking and they have 4 chairs? or five... but they're all nice chaps and they listen to what you want, a personal peeve of mine from other places I've visited. We all need haircuts regularly or not and this place is well worth the visit. You won't be disappointed. read more

I never write reviews on yelp - come to think of it, this is only my 3rd ever review. Anyone who writes a bad review of Leetsdale Barbers, it baffles me as to why. If you're upset about the wait, that is selfish. I know time is precious but so is finding a good, consistent barber and looking your best. The fact that there is a long wait at times is a combination of the pure volume of clientele along with the fact that these guys are simply the best. They must be doing something right if there is that many customers always in the place! Personally, I go at times when I know the traffic isn't so bad in there. I moved here from New York back in September and it took me quite a while to find LB and I am glad I did. James and Paul are the absolute best. I've only been in there 3 times so far and every time I go, specifically James, he remembers my name and how I like my hair cut/styled. I know this is not just me either, it is everyone who walks through that door. That is not only impressive but insane customer service. A+++ I am so happy I found this place. Thanks James and everyone and look forward to seeing you many times again in the future! read more

They fixed a butchered job from another barber. I'm just glad they didn't laugh when I came in; I looked like an ex-con who was seriously considering a job in clowning. They make the usual small-talk, but will leave you alone if you're not feeling chatty. I gave a muddled description of what I wanted and they read between the lines to make it happen. The best part is that the process is somewhat of a dialogue. I asked for a modification to what they delivered and my barber happily adjusted it. Snip-snip, and I walked out with the best haircut I've ever had (and not just because I apparently have a habit of frequenting shitty places). I don't live anywhere near here, but will be making the drive the next time I need a cut. read more
