This is by far my favorite barber shop in Denver. I hopped around for quite a while either through staff changes or location stations or just the need for a change. I've been coming here since it's opened several years ago and I love it. Gio is great - imaginative and detailed. It's fun to converse with him especially with his knowledge about music and his love for concerts. There seems to be a tune each time I am not familiar with and he gives me the lowdown. My barber apparently just moved here from Baltimore and spent 45 min on my high fade down to the skin/short on top haircut after waiting 20 min after our appt. He turned me around for the entire cut so I couldn't see what he was doing in the mirror. When he gave me his big reveal, I said, "We'll, I guess that'll have to do." I got a great haircut from Casaundra. She asked me what I wanted and listened attentively, cutting it in a way to hit everything I wanted and getting all the little stuff right. She paid attention to the smaller details to produce a really high quality cut, even dealing with my dramatic cowlicks with the exact length. I'd highly recommend her for a cut. Location: On Colfax right after Colorado Blvd. I have found parking to be easy even though they have no parking lot. You can park in front of on the side street. Service: The guys here are great. Nice, funny, and play good music. They offer you a beverage when your there. I usually can get in quickly. They do allow walk ins but there are only three guys there so you might have to wait if they have appointment so I would suggest an appointment. I have been going here for about 6 months now and I like my hair cuts. Pricing: I think it's reasonable for the cut and shave. Typical prices for the area. I know you can find a few cheaper at some locations but it's more personal and it's a nice place. Cleanliness: Very clean and cool place. This is my second biggest concern when choosing a place to cut my hair. 1st is can they cut hair good. Overall: I highly recommend this place. read more

I have no doubt that there are good barbers in this shop. However, don't book an appointment with Justin. He didn't listen to what I said, nicked my head 5 different times, and didn't put the neck wrap that barbers usually put around the neck. I asked him to not cut the top of my head, just wanted a taper fade on the sides. He repeated what I said, and then decided to cut the length off my hair. I told him to stop and he just kept going. He didn't ask me how i styled my hair until I had enough and told him to finally stop. He tried to style the way he wanted it to look. The back of my head lost all the lengthy hair that used to be there when he decided to take the razor all the way to the top of my head. I regret tipping this guy, but after he swiped my card, he looked straight at me when the tip screen came up. He did not deserve the 15% in my opinion. Now the only lengthy hair i have is just on the side and it's uneven all around. (partially due to me leaving after he didn't listen) Now beanie season is underway. The kicker, he didn't even blend the fade. He just kept on going back and forth between cutting my sides and the top of my head. Now i gotta find read more

Beyond the great haircut, it's a comfortable place - the decor is rustic and welcoming and the whole shop is clean. Most importantly, Giovanni is great! I hate to give this review since I was running late and gave the barber limited time but the haircut was very bad. I'm honestly embarrassed and will not go back. I tried explaining a simple medium skin fade and could tell in the beginning by the way she started the fade that she didn't know what she was doing. She was very nice and kind so I feel bad giving this feedback but I would not suggest this place. The tools they use to cut hair are very basic.
