Had my head botched recently by a highly regarded barbershop in Denver, which I am thankful for because I found this gem in an attempt to undo the damage. Specifically Zac. Best haircut ever. This man knows what he's doing, is thorough and works you through the process to make sure you get exactly what you want. Highly recommended, especially if you want any kind of fade. 10/10 Awesome shop, cool vibes, free perks (Ghost energy drink), which comes in handy if you work out at any of the gyms nearby and everyone there is super cool, nice and most importantly from what I've gathered skilled/knowledgeable. The place is difficult fine and despite the front wall being all windows, it is kind of claustrophobic because it's so tiny and silent. Beautiful aesthetic, but I've had bedrooms bigger than this shop. My barber, Gypsy, was very kind and tried to make polite conversation. I wasn't in the mood to talk much and tried to make that clear, but in the spirit of good customer service she asked me questions about myself. I guess that's OK. Gypsy did a good job with my hair, though I'm not super pleased with how my beard came out. She didn't even use a straight blade; just a trimmer. And then she hands me a "towel for my face" which I was confused about because it wasn't warmed, damp, or anything. Just a dry rag. I awkwardly just brushed it around my face because I didn't know what I supposed to do with it. And then I check out and nearly have a heart attack when she said 70-some-odd dollars. I got a fade and beard trim! For $70+ I would've expected a complimentary beer, some music playing, a WARMED or damp towel, hell... these are things barber shops offer! All and all, I could have whipped out my Walmart clippers and done this haircut myself. I definitely won't go back, but they do have 4.5 stars so maybe I'm too particular. read more

Had to find another place to cut my hair since the person I've been seeing is taking a hiatus, so went to Yelp to find a good place to get my haircut. I saw great reviews of World Class Men's haircut and was able to make an appointment for a Saturday morning cut with Jarret. If you're driving to here to get your haircut give yourself ample time to find parking. That would be the only con I would say about this barber shop. When I walked in I was greeted prompt and everyone said hello which was nice to see. I was taken on time and Jarret was super friendly and did a great job on my cut. First, they didn't take credit cards, didn't warn me that I'd need cash, and have a cash machine that has a high fee. Second, the guy who cut my hair used the razor on my head like he was trying to work out some anger issues from a traumatic childhood. I also had to listen to his loudly voiced cray-cray politics and conspiracy theories throughout the cut. It wasn't a terrible result (I give him that), but I have to say I've had as good cuts at the chain places, for much less, and without the bait and switch and very weird vibes. read more

Just can't justify the price. The haircut was sub-par, with no wash or shampoo. Also asked the stylist for a hard-part and he laughed and then proceeded to ignore me. They don't accept cards, so you either bring cash or pay an ATM withdrawal fee to take out money... For $63 ($49 for a haircut, $3 ATM withdrawal fee and tip) I expect top-notch service and a great haircut... Neither of those occurred, so I won't be returning and can't recommend this place. read more

Guys with long hair- avoid this place. Jordan wasn't super friendly. Seemed impatient. He did say he doesn't do too many man bun / dudes with long hair right off the rip. Their space is small and there was a group of random bystanders watching our entire interaction closely. It was also hot and pretty uncomfortable. I don't know if it was our initial interaction that pissed him off, but the whole thing seemed an inconvenience for him. At the end he said the way I wore my hair when I came in was feminine and that now it will look more masculine. He specifically said that I looked like the other girls in his daughters freshman college classes when walking in. When in reality he just cut too much off vs my initial request. My only request was to still be able to my hair in a bun, and to help make it less hot/cumbersome. (20min haircut, no shampoo - $65) Maybe he just didn't like me. This was not the World Class Cut I was expecting. It's so frustrating to get a bad hair cut! It's not like she cut it and left a few pieces. She completely changed the shape and style of my hair. I've been growing it out for almost a year, and had finally achieved the perfect length on top and the sides, I just needed a trim and a shape up. No disrespect to our Marines, but it looks like it's a military cut. I DID NOT ASK FOR A HIGH AND TIGHT. Also, it felt like they could be a little more sanitary. She didn't wipe off any of the counters before or ofter the customers. She did wear a mask. As a follow up: Jordan the owner reached out, and did everything he could to make me feel better. There is complementary tea and coffee while you wait, and the staff will make sure you are comfortable. The barber listens to what you are thinking of (however vague), and works off of that with some suggestions and recommendations. My boyfriend went in for his first cut in almost a year with high hopes after reading this salons positive reviews, and left next to furious. Not only was he given an uneven and overly textured haircut, he was hit in the head with Jared's clippers which ended up giving him a headache. Working in the service industry, I understand that when you pay for a service and don't receive the money's worth of what it is you expected and wanted, it is annoying. I went here after seeing 5 stars. I guess I am the odd man out. While their I realized he cuts everyone almost the same. I let him cut the way I would look best. I figured he was a 5 star guy. I had no idea he would cut a large part into my hair. Half the size would have been enough. While yelling g me how awesome he was during my haircut he was fielding calls and booking appointments.
