Another nice & respectful visit. This time, I downloaded their app. After creating an account with my email and password, it was very easy to see all the stylist schedules over the next few weeks and the time slots available. I chose Marcus again. When I arrived, I was greeted by the manager. Marcus was finishing up with another customer. I requested specific desires for hair length and neck shaving. He checked with me several times to verify his work. He applied several eucalyptus scented towels to soften my beard and my neck before cutting/shaving. I noted the aftershave balm was thick with a vanilla scent. So I got a tube of Layrite deluxe Aftershave Balm for $22. The Express Cut was $35 & the Express Beard was $15. I tipped $12. read more

Gerald has a new and fresh idea during each appointment and I've been SO pleased with his work. Very inclusive environment as well.

I am the type of person to not get a hair cut for a while. Usually I go about a year to get a cut. Mostly because I have never been able to find someone at a good price that listens to you and takes the time to make sure it's what you want I had a cut with Gerald here. I started out late to my appointment. I called at my appointment time and they told me no worries. I arrived a few minutes late and Gerald was very friendly and took some time to talk about what I wanted. He showed me an easier and better way to keep my beard manageable. I am 30 years old and learned how to trim my beard today. will for sure be coming back here next time I need a cut. Even the atmosphere in the barbershop is unparalleled, laid back enough to not feel pressured for anything but super professional at the same time! Highly recommend Gerald, I cannot speak for the other barbers so if you can get an appointment with him you should book it right away! read more

Had a wonderful appointment with Alejandra. My wife demanded that I return and am now a regular. 5 out of 5 stars!!! read more

Boulder Barbers - Lima - Barbers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

We went to the one in Boulder better then the one we have being going to for years in Los Angeles. They did an amazing job on my young teenagers hair. Definitely coming back! read more

My stylist Jake.... what can I say? They're amazing. I've been with them for several years, and I'm thrilled that they've found a home at Boulder Barbers! This salon is top-notch. It's modern, hip, a little on the masculine side (rightly so), and every single employee is cooler than the next. They offer incredible services like waxes and shaves, on top of killer hair cuts. The best thing about Boulder Barbers, though? Jake. They're just super talented and really easy to work with. They listen, they understand how different hair works, and they consistently nail it every time. They're so good at communicating what they're doing to make sure you walk out looking your best, and they've never let me down. I've been with Jake for years. They've helped me through awkward phases, new styles, and fun ideas. I'll keep going to them every chance I get. This shop is so cool, I'm so glad Jake has a chair there. Love everyone there. read more

Had my haircut by Betty! Best haircut ever! I can tell that she has a ton of experience, she's super fast, and extremely stylish. She got me ready for a special event and I never looked better! Definitely going back read more

DO NOT COME HERE! This was easily the worst haircut I've ever received. DO NOT COME HERE! This company should be embarrassed that they sent me out with this and even more embarrassed that they charged me for it! I showed them a reference photo too. It took my barber the entire haircut for her to notice that I had a cowlick in the front. I look like the Incredible Hulk. I look like the kid in Shrek that says, "do the roar". They gave me a pumpkin pie ass haircut, and I hate it. If you look up terrible haircuts on Google, something similar to mine will pop up on the second picture. This is not satire. I am so upset. read more

Boulder Barbers - DO NOT COME HERE - Barbers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Jake is an amazing barber who always takes so much time and care to ensure my hair cut is exactly how I want it. They're also super patient with me and help me decide on different styles and I always have a great conversation with them. I tend to get a fade with a 2 1/2 guard and trim/clean up on the the top. I've been going to Jake for a while now, and I really love the shop as well. It's always clean, the rest of the barbers are friendly, and it's just over all a great atmosphere. I've been getting fades for 10 years now and of all the barbers I've had, Jake is definitely the top one. If you're looking for a LGBTQIA+ shop that takes time to listen and cares, this is your place! Once when I came in, Jake was even wearing a mask and said some of their clients prefer it when they do. You don't meet many barbers who are that considerate of clients. read more

Barbers here can be hit or miss. Keith is the manager and he is very good, and Skylar is awesome - both do good fades. Skylar's fade is probably the best for my head shape (egghead) read more

Betty is amazing at what she does! She has experience with working on men, women and children! Very versatile and friendly!

Poor service, these guys are infamous for canceling customer appointments at the last minute. I don't think they value their customers. I have found a number of quality barber shops in the area, so I guess Boulder Barbers' poor service did me favor. Won't ever be returning to this establishment. read more

Jake is an awesome stylist and does fantastic haircuts! Would highly recommend!! A+

Glad we found Lupe again! She is amazing and cuts my hair the best of any stylist I have found in Denver. It is so good to have found her location. It is a bit of a drive from our home but it is well worth the drive. read more

Rachael was great! Super fastidious attention to every detail; personable without being too chatty. The place itself is pretty typical for a barber shop these days: Clubby music in the background, though it wasn't too loud. Nice, airy space that's big enough but not so big that you feel like a number. Thanks, Rachael! I think I'm looking pretty fly. I would go back. read more

I highly recommend Jake at Boulder Barbers. I've been going to her for 4 years and do not trust anyone else to cut my hair because it's never as good as when she cuts it. I followed her during her transition from Floyd's 99. Boulder Barbers is 100x better than Floyd's, as well in terms of the quality, environment, and how they treat their employees. In addition to being able to cut my hair amazingly, she is also a great person to talk to about literally any topic. Such a great person and professional! read more

Want a great clips quality haircut for over $40? Come to boulder barbers! There's a reason this place was empty on a Saturday when all the other barbers were booked up. Jake was nice but really doesn't earn the price they're charging for haircuts. Very basic fade was haphazardly done. Spent all of 90 seconds on the top of my hair, which looks choppy and awful. read more

I love this place - best haircuts, and I'm in and out in 20 minutes. Keith is top-notch. I first found Keith when he was at Floyd's, many years ago. My wife told me she loved my haircut. When Keith moved to a less convenient Floyd's, I tried three other barber shops closer to my house. No one was as good as Keith, so I made the 30min commute to continue getting my hair cut by Keith. I was thrilled when Keith opened Boulder Barbers. The cuts are great, the prices reasonable, and the location is convenient. I highly recommend letting Keith and his team cut your hair! read more

So this is my 2nd time back here, and the owner Keith ended up cutting my hair because apparently the last barber who cut my hair (who I originally booked to cut my hair today) left the barbershop without any notice at all. Keith simply said "I hope he's still alive". It was the most farfetched thing I had heard but since Keith was the owner, I figured I would get a professional top notched haircut so I proceeded with the appointment...Boy was I wrong!! Of all the haircuts I've ever gotten throughout my entire life, I've NEVER had a barber step away for approximately 10 minutes to "train another barber" and cut another customer's hair. I was there around 12:30pm during my lunch hour and it was extremely busy then too. Not once did my barber Keith (who also happens to be the owner) give me a heads up that he would be training another barber (which also makes you wonder, why is he even hiring unqualified/inexperienced barbers?). Why on earth would he make an appointment with a customer AND train another barber at the same time? He stepped away for a minute or two repeatedly throughout the haircut to give pointers to the other barber, but him stepping away for 10 whole minutes was completely unacceptable. When he came back, I spoke up and told him how unusual it was to cut two different customers' hair at the same time and that I'm on my lunch break from work. His very first response was "I had to train Gerald". He was completely unapologetic and rude about my concerns. When I asked him if I'd have to pay the full fare for the haircut, explaining how time is money, this is my lunch break, and a customer should always have the full attention of a barber....he said yeah I'll give you a "slight" discount. As he wrapped up the haircut, he continued to step away to greet guests and answer the phone for several more minutes. Couldn't any of his other 4 barbers that were in the shop had done this? So when the haircut was done, he only downgraded my haircut to the "express" cut (which is about a 5% discount). When I told him how unprofessional it was for him to be the only employee to train a new barber for 10-15 mins, greet new customers, AND answer calls AT the customers expense, he said "Okay. Do you want to leave a tip?". I was like are you serious? Hell no. Not a single apology still. Any level headed professional would have gave me that haircut on the house or at least took 50% off. A 30 min haircut ended up being nearly an hour and a half! I'm never returning here again. I am posting this review and picture, because I would be doing a disservice to the community by not sharing how messed up of a service I got from the OWNER. I took a video, in fact, but apparently Yelp doesn't allow videos to be posted on reviews. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I'm not one to write a bad review or bash a place for no reason, but the haircut I received literally ruined my hair and looked nothing like I wanted it to. I received a free haircut from a training barber named Gerald. Both him and the master barber were kind individuals, but it seemed like Gerald was not prepared to actually give haircuts to people. I wasn't aware of the amount of training Gerald had in hair, but after the haircut he told me he did not go to school to cut hair or learn much before working there with nothing to do in cutting hair. I wish the master barber was more attentive during the haircut.. read more
