I couldn't be happier with my haircut at At The Shop Denver! They just opened up last month, and they're dishing out amazing cuts! They're located conveniently located in downtown denver with a parking garage behind the store! This barbershop definitely has a premium feel with self service water, coffee, and tea. Great lighting. Great service. Talented barbers. And their haircuts are more affordable than the GQ lounges of the world in downtown. Alfred is definitely a homie and is superior at fades even with straight Asian hair. I felt welcome the minute I walked in, and I am sure you will too. Come check them out if you're in the area! read more

I've been coming to At The Shop for years and have had consistently excellent experiences. My barber, who is also the owner, has always done great work, and I've appreciated having someone I trusted enough to return to for many dozens of appointments. Recently, though, I missed an appointment for what I believe was the first time in all those years. The owner called about seven minutes into the appointment, and I realized I'd accidentally put it on the wrong calendar. I completely understand that no-shows cost a barber time and income, and I'm not suggesting a business shouldn't have a no-show policy. What surprised me was being charged the full amount afterward, especially given my history as an extremely reliable longtime customer. It also felt a little off that the charge wasn't mentioned when we spoke on the phone. The dollar amount isn't really the issue. What bothered me was that something seemed to flip in how I experienced the relationship. After years and many dozens of appointments, I had hoped that much history might leave a little room for grace around a one-time mistake. Instead, it suddenly felt much more transactional. I still think very highly of the quality of the work here, which is why this is a four-star review. I also respect the need for a small service business to protect itself from habitual no-shows. But because the relationship now feels different to me, I don't plan to return for the time being. read more

You'd be better off giving your 41 dollars to a homeless man and have him cut your hair. I hadn't had a hair cut In almost 6 months I went in for a fade and told him for my bangs to not come to a point. Guess what they come to a point now and it stands up funny on the top. Complete bs. I was excited for my hair cut. now I'm just bummed, disappointed and feel ugly. I'd give a zero star if I could. read more

The owners Taylor and Erika are top-notch talent and only hire the best as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

New to Denver and looking for a new barbershop? Look no further, this is the spot for you. Had my first haircut here last week and couldn't have been happier. Jester is the man and gave me a great medium fade. He had some questions regarding my hair, and I asked for suggestions and he gave great recommendations! I will be back. He is very detailed and wanted to give a great cut for a new customer, and i could not be happier! read more

Jason is hands down the best barber I've had in Denver! He is not only extremely good at cutting hair, but he's fun to talk to and listens to everything I say to make sure I get the best haircut. I get tons of compliments every time I leave. I won't go to anywhere else. Thanks Jason read more

After a few years in Denver I had not yet found a decent stylist - frustrating really. The leasing agent of the new place I moved to recommended Taylor at this salon. She is one of the owners of the salon. I finally scheduled a cut there yesterday and the reviews are spot on. I don't think I've ever seen a salon with 5 star reviews across the board, here and on Google. This one delivers. Taylor was friendly, listened to what I wanted and delivered. The service was excellent, I got a great haircut and the place felt welcoming. Finally got a haircut I like and will be back. I understand from Taylor she doesn't read the reviews, but I'm sure her husband will share the props with her. LOL Go check out this salon. Worth it!!! read more

Taylor is a great shop owner and does an amazing job cutting my beard. I've been coming here for a while now and don't plan on going anywhere else. I drive in from Parker to get a fresh, clean cut every time. Thanks Taylor! read more

Erika is great. I followed her from Finley's Barbershop to her new place and she is professional, funny, remembers what was spoken about at the last appointment (in terms of both previous haircuts and life in general), and I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone. Don't let the construction in the area fool you, there is free parking in a garage right behind this place, and street parking is often available as well. Lastly, although credit/debit cards are of course taken as forms of payment, I'd recommend bringing and paying in cash as it prevents small businesses from paying transaction fees. read more

Man, I don't know where to begin. But basically I told the guy that I wanted my sides and back buzzed and just a little on top - he took that to mean that I wanted it really short on top. And he began to butcher the top of my hair, starting with my bangs, and by the time I could say anything, the damage was done. Aside from that, he used a clearly very cheap what looked like a light green children's comb, and cut my hair like someone who was on coke, cutting faster and more aggressively both with the scissors and buzzer than anyone I've ever seen before. I'm only giving two stars, because he profusely apologized for the error, and didn't make me pay for the cut. I've never had another barber misunderstand me like that. And now I gotta go to my best friend's wedding like this in a few days. Woof. read more

This place is such a gem. Top-notch services delivered by very capable barbers. I have been a customer of Taylor's for several years now. I just won't go anywhere else. I had the pleasure of being introduced to Taylor when I was requested as a handyman before she launched her own business and I must say that she was the heart of that business and they haven't been the same since. Her engaging charisma and kindness is so contagious that I had to give her skills a chance following our first interaction. I am happy to say that I haven't had a better experience or felt more confident about my looks after leaving a salon/barber before. She even introduced me to beard and hair products that I use everyday, ones that I thought only the manliest men would be aware of. Their shop offers the most luxury experience in the center of Denver, with refreshments and good music. They are located conveniently close to Coors field with private covered parking. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed. read more
