I came to this place on a Sunday but they were closed. Online it said they opened at 8am but it didn't open until 10AM. I came back because I heard the baguettes were good so I did come back and I will definitely recommend this place for their baguettes and a mocha frappe I didn't try anything else but what I ordered, I really enjoyed. I went to this location at 9am 4/17/26 while my car was getting serviced across the street. The older Asian woman working during this time gave the worse service. I asked for a pork sandwich and a coffee and she just sighed so hard I could smell her breath. You can tell she hates her job. She complained that she had to get the lemon grass ready. Terrible customer service. I waited five minutes with no acknowledgment, then an employee walked up, said nothing, and just stared at me. When I finally asked for an ice coffee, she slammed the order into the POS. I tried to change it to hot coffee, she visibly got upset. At that point, I figured it was safer to walk out than risk something in my drink that I didn't order. So sad too since I was genuinely looking forward to a good sandwich. If you're used to eating at Lee's locations in the San Gabriel Valley, you will be disappointed in this location. First, they DO NOT accept Lee's Rewards. She ordered the #11 combination meat sandwich ($7.99) with no onions, and I ordered the bbq pork sandwich ($6.99). The last couple of times I've been here, it's been for the freshly made baguettes. They never disappoint. However, their bbq pork sandwich was not what I remembered. First, pork tasted like burnt ends. I appreciate a little charred taste, but this was definitely a little burnt and dry, so it was not to my liking at all. No complaints from my sister with her sandwich though. Lee's is practically a classic at this point in time, especially when it comes to accessible banh mi and coffee strong enough to make your eyelids twitch. However, not all Lee's are equal -- this one is not definitely narrow and kind of awkward to navigate, but I've only had good service at this location over the years. When my family stopped in today, we ordered a grilled pork (my favorite), a BBQ pork (my husband's favorite), and a grilled chicken with no jalapeno (was hoping it would be my toddler's favorite). By default, the bahn mi comes on a generous hunk of chewy baguette, with mayonnaise, pickled carrots and daikon, long stems of cilantro, and jalapeno unless you request otherwise. All three of our sandwiches were pretty loaded with meat: the grilled pork still reigns supreme with its slightly sweet, slightly salty porky tenderness. BBQ pork reminds me of the slightly dried corners of a hunk of char siu. The chicken was pretty good, very mildly flavored, but the pork is definitely where it's at. Even my toddler went all in on the grilled pork sandwich too, once he tried it. Their iced coffee is a local thing of legend. Super sweet and super potent, it is guaranteed to caffeinate. Their Thai iced tea is lightly spiced and pretty tasty too, if tea is more your speed. Like I mentioned, this location is tiny! It's tight with minimal indoor seating, though they do have a few tables on a covered patio area outside. But don't let that discourage you from enjoying a cheap sandwich and a strong coffee if the craving strikes. read more

I have never stepped foot into a LEE's sandwiches until today. Me and my mom ordered 2 sandwiches. The croissant ones. Didn't know they had these because we thought they only had Asian style only ones. The sandwiches come on the side red onion, pickle, pepperoncini, and mustard. Well we didn't get our pepperoncini and no mustard packets either. I got provolone on one sandwich and forgot to tell them what cheese on the other. So they defaulted to American. And they never asked me what cheese I wanted. If you say nothing then it's default American. They really got to go through the check list when someone orders a sandwich and make sure they got the right sandwich. What's the point in choice if you never give us one? Then it took over 20 minutes to make these 2 sandwiches. Then 3 people ordered AFTER I did. 2 of them got their order BEFORE I did. They just work on the easy orders first and it's not first come first serve. The 3rd person who ordered after me got their food the exact same time as me. They are not organized and I feel they do not care about customer service. The only reason I didn't rate 2 stars is because the sandwiches were actually really good. The croissant was soft in the middle and a little crispy on top. Perfect amount of cheese and meat and lettuce. Good amount of mayo. But for the price this didn't include chips or a drink, nearly 24$ for just the 2 sandwiches. That's just robbery. That should be the price of 2 combos. But honestly the drinks looked warm. It was so hot inside and they have an exposed fridge with no door, just blowing cold air on them mixing with the hot air. They were not cold. So we didn't get them. This comes with a variety of meats, jalapeno, pickled vegetables, cilantro, pate spread and mayo spread all on a freshly baked baguette. The portion size for the price is perfect for 2 meals (or for one very hungry husband). Chicken Pate Chaud, $1.95 prior to tax- My husband ordered this for me but to be honest I didn't like this and think it made me sick since my stomach felt a bit uneasy after eating. The chicken was kind of sweet and had minced onions in it. I didn't like the taste of so my husband finished it. I wouldn't order this again but my husband would for himself. Spring Rolls, $3.99 prior to tax- These spring rolls contained both pork and shrimp. Some Lee's Sandwiches locations have just vegetable inside but will have to ask if that location has any. I love spring rolls and thought these were good. Had a side of peanut sauce that was more than enough for 2 rolls. I highly recommend the one located off the 91 Freeway going West. I like that is spacious and clean. The European style sandwiches are really good. My favorites are the turkey, salami, cheese. The other one that's my very favorite is the salami and cheese of choice (provolone, American or Swiss) with all their trimming (mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions, picked and banana peppers) with that good fresh baked baguette!!
