So cute!

I always go to lees for their strong iced coffee but realized I've never had one of their sandwiches! So this morning I got a breakfast sandwich and a lunch sandwich to take to work. I got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Great size sandwich that I shared it and it tasted really good too! For lunch I got the ham turkey and cheese and it was delicious! What have I been missing out all this time!?

Im not sure what has happened to this 24 hour location, but the last two visits this week had me running to my car. The parking lot is dirty. Lots of trash. There were a few homeless outside. One was smoking a joint one was smoking a crack pipe. Both were out in the open a few feet from the door. A few other homeless just sat outside not bothering anyone. My iced Biscoff coffee looked nothing like the picture. There was no cookie on top. Their coffee is 75% ice. The spring rolls just sat on the counter at room temp with the sun beating down on them. Sandwiches run about $10 each. This location needs security. It needs a good cleaning outside. I am not a fan anymore.

This location of the popular Vietnamese sandwich chain is open 24 hours (I think. At least they're open really late ordering through the window) I think the vibe is different during the day and late at night. Which could be said for most places. I felt fine, but it could probably feel a little sketch for some people when you're ordering near or past midnight. I was in the area on my way home and I just wanted to get a few baguettes. Ordering was really simple. You would just either order at the screen or from a person, but my transaction was really quick. Their baguettes are solid and such a great deal. Always a good place to get some bread when you just want a simple breakfast or to eat with butter or charcuterie.

I decided to try their biscoff drjnk. It was nice to get the app and also ended up getting a baguette and a canned drink of their Vietnamese coffee. This place has something for everyone. Food, snacks, and drinks. Would definitely come back to try more things. The people were helpful and I got my drink quickly. You can order in person or at the kiosk.

manjoo is delicious and very affordable for the portion of 24. ive grown up getting banh mi and other pastries here and they were all delicious. it's spacious and clean inside. there's also kiosks if you want to skip the line. service is friendly and quick. a childhood gem and the drinks also look great so will be trying them soon.

I wouldn't recommend this store highly. Previously, I ordered too many times number #11and paid more $$ for a substitute to a large croissant. They always placed a croissant inside the container box and cut it 1/2. But now I bought it the same as I did, they wrapped it like that, it looks like a tangled mess, and if it were you, would you want to eat it? I asked the staff member who was supervising that shift. She responded nonchalantly when I asked if, as I remembered, baguette #11 but substituted a croissant were usually cut in half and placed in a plastic container. She said, "Yeah, usually, but sometimes it's not necessary to put them in a container." I ignored her response; her service attitude showed a lack of concern for the customer. Therefore, I'm giving her a one-star rating for her handling of the situation and the way she presented the food.

Coffee no ice

I paid $3.69 for this I was expect more coffee For future reference if you buy regular size black coffee without ice from this location. This is how much you get.

My fiancé loves this place. He says Lees got him through college lol The food is cheap (used to be cheaper). But it is still a good value! We got a couple sandwiches. I like that they put a lot of veggies in there. The vegetarian items are my go-to! The macarons were so fresh! We got a dozen of them. They were assorted flavors. The matcha was actually my favorite one. I couldn't believe how soft they were. You can order from Lee's on Door dash! But to get the cheapest meal, stop into one of the locations. I haven't tried the coffee yet, but I hear that is great. I think they service was a quick. And the ambiance is laid back- it is a t-shirt and shorts kind of place. Nothing fancy. This is a good spot for cheap eats and Vietnamese coffee!

Never knew there was a 24 hour lees lol. Lees sandwiches at 2am in the morning hit different you'll see all types of shit. Cops, homeless, and drunk people. 5/5 would come again

These were the saddest sandwiches we ever had. Not a good way to start January 2024.

I don't know what's going on with this location but based on our last visit, this place is going downhill. We ordered a banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork) and a small chicken stick which was one of their new items. Talk about misleading photos. In the photos, both sandwiches are full and have spread portions to the bread, but after receiving our order, what a disappointment. There was barely any protein in the grilled pork sandwich, it was just filled with butter, little vegetables, and barely any meat. As for the grilled chicken stick, it was literally just bread and some pieces of chicken. Based on the quality of the sandwich and lack of portions for the inflated costs, I would advise Yelpers to go to other sandwich places where your money might get you more value. Another factor to now consider when coming to this location is all the neighboring transients. It does not feel safe as years past and I do appreciate them having security patrolling, but just know the security guard isn't always there, so be mindful of your surroundings. Such a shame that the quality control has gone down here because this use to be a very popular Lees sandwich place for all the locals.

So glad I found Paul's deli and that they are making a righteous Reuben on rye with sauerkraut, cheese and a little Russian dressing! So good! When the sandwich is done right I'm hooked so I will definitely be coming back. This shop is located in Westminster in a mostly Vietnamese strip mall but the sandwich shop has a great small deli vibe with its old school decor and pictures on the wall. The staff are friendly and again the sandwich is the real star. Gotta try Paul's deli!

We were headed toward REI to grab some outdoor chairs and decided to stop at GHOST Sando Shop in Huntington Beach. I've driven past this place plenty of times and never really knew what it was. It also happened to be one of the only places open in the shopping center that early, so we figured, why not? Man, we had no idea what we were missing. We ordered the Melrose for ourselves and a Club for our daughter. Marco took our order and was also the one making the sandwiches. A few minutes after we sat down, he actually walked over and asked me, "Are you sure you want the pepperoncini and tomato on the Club?" My first thought was basically, uhhh... yeah, of course I do! Then it clicked. The Club was for our daughter. Marco had remembered that from our conversation when we ordered and knew that a lot of kids probably aren't exactly excited about pepperoncini and tomatoes. Meanwhile, Dad over here completely forgot to ask for them off. That might seem like such a small thing, but THAT is customer service. Marco wasn't just taking an order, collecting payment, and moving on to the next customer. He was actually paying attention. He remembered who the sandwich was for and took the extra few seconds to come over and double check before making it. Good looking out, Marco. Seriously. And that wasn't the only interaction we had with him. Marco was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in. He talked with us, answered questions, and even gave us suggestions on other sandwiches we should try the next time we come back. Nothing felt forced or scripted. It was just genuine conversation from someone who seemed to actually care whether we enjoyed our experience. There were only two guys working while we were there, yet everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, the bright green interior gives the place its own personality, and there's plenty of seating inside along with a really nice outdoor patio area. And most importantly, the sandwiches were GOOD. The Melrose was a great first choice, and Melody enjoyed her Club, thankfully without Dad accidentally loading it up with pepperoncini. We also grabbed some Calypso lemonades, which went perfectly with everything. We originally stopped here simply because it was open and convenient. Now it's somewhere we'll intentionally come back to. There are thousands of places where you can buy a sandwich. What makes you remember a restaurant is usually the people behind the counter. Marco made us remember GHOST. Excellent food, clean restaurant, great atmosphere, and genuinely outstanding customer service. We'll definitely be back, and next time, Marco, we're taking you up on those recommendations.
