We are leaving for vacation early morning on the 29th and he is left empty handed! We had to go purchase all new shirts today as he literally left all his shirts with the cleaners and had nothing appropriate for our trip. Unbelievable. We will NEVER use this shop again. I am beyond disappointed with the terrible service and gross irresponsibility of this place. I can't wait to discuss this in person with the owner. To say I am angry is an understatement.

This begs the question of whether it was even cleaned....when I voiced my concerns to them about the lack of cleaning done -- he just smiled and nodded. I thought maybe there is a language issue and asked if he understook what I had said -- he said he did. So it's clear now, they just don't care if they clean it enough or correctly. I have this gorgeous, fine silk blouse, gold like an egg yolk, fits me like a million bucks, brand new, and yeah- I spilled some cream of tomato soup on it like a moron. And it sat like that for three days because I was up in Seattle when the soup-collision happened. I did sprinkle some talcum powder on it, but I didn't want to risk destroying the fiber or color by washing it. I was so unhappy, I couldn't even look at it. The good folks at Promise Cleaners took one look at it, frowned and said, "Ooooohhhhhhh." Pretty much unable to guarantee it would come out. Which, understandable. It's a greasy, red soup stain on fine silk. But it came back today.... Looking like a million bucks! Gorgeous job! These folks are miracle workers.

Everything was hung and bagged a bit nicer than other cleaners I've been. The owners were very nice to talk with and I got the feeling that they take pride in what they do. The most pleasant surprise was my headphones. I had checked the pockets on my wife's coats before bringing them in but had left a pair of headphones in the pocket of my jacket. Had they been ruined in the cleaning process it would have been completely my fault, but when I picked everything up, they were coiled and put clipped to the hanger with my coat. Little things like this, the good attitude of the owners and the attention to detail definitely make this a place I'll be using again and again.

However, whoever tried to fix them, cut into the pockets and resewed the waistband into the pockets. Not a good look. They charged me $25 per pair of sweatpants "to fix" equaling $75 to sew the waistband into the pocket. My $20 sweatpants turned into $45 sweatpants that I cannot wear X 3. Terrible

I chose not to wash them because I wanted to maintain the darker navy--blue color instead of washing them and washing out part of the color. I chose to take them to the neighborhood Dry Cleaners - Westmoreland (support local business). Customer is always right? I showed the owner the stain she said they would try to get it out. She said that when people wash their clothes and can't get the stain out, it makes it harder for them to remove it. I told her I had not washed them and they were brand new pants. She said she could tell they had been washed and ironed. Oh boy. I went to pick them up two weeks later paid my bill and took them home. The stain was still there, and did not look like they had treated them in any way. Took them back same day. The owner said they tried to get the stain out but with no luck. She told me they would try again with no charge. Don't argue with the customer. I went to pick them up and the stain was as if all they did was re-press the pants. I pointed this out and she told me that old pants were always hard to clean. I told her the pants were new. She told me she could tell they were old and had been washed several times. (This was not going well). "That will be $14" "No that won't" "Yes, we tried to clean them and the stain would not come out" "You told me you would try to clean them again with no charge" "We did. If they had come out clean we would not have charged you. They did not come out clean so you owe us $14" I was having difficulty following her logic. I pushed back. "I will not pay when you told me there would be no charge." I could see the wheels turning in her head as she weighed the outcome of her next words.... "Maybe you should try using a napkin instead of wiping your hands on your pants" as she motioned wiping hands on lap. No charge. Oh boy, any bets on my returning to this cleaners? I think I will take the trip to Tie's Cleaners on Sandy next time I need to use a dry cleaner. Next day service and no lip. Oh, and I threw the pants in the wash and guess what, the stain came out!! I've had patches sewn on my jacket by them three times the first two times were excellent and very…read moreinexpensive I think $10 per patch but on the third one it was like they intentionally put it on crooked I didn't say anything but it was frustrating because it was obviously not how it was supposed to go on unless they had a lazy eye lol and now that I think about it there was no regard when they put the second patch on because they could've easily placed it to where it didn't sew shut the inside pocket but it was like they deliberately placed it to where it would ruin the inside pocket. I guess if you give them clear precise instructions it wouldn't have happened but I just always forget that common sense isn't so common these days. I will say despite my frustrations the stitching was good.
