However, I will give the owner credit for promptly resolving the issue. Story: On Tuesday, I dropped off my suit jacket for dry cleaning, which cost $12. The owner initially said it would be ready for pickup on Saturday after 4 pm, but then offered to have it ready by Friday instead. I agreed. On Friday, I called to confirm that my suit jacket was ready for pickup. Oddly, the owner informed me that he needed to clean it again and asked if I could pick it up on Saturday at 4 pm. I reluctantly agreed though it was concerning that the jacket needed to be cleaned again after only being worn twice. On Monday (today), I stopped by during my lunch break, only to be told by the owner that he needed to clean it again and asked me to return at 4 pm. This was the second requested extension without prior communication about needing more time. I was frustrated because what should have been a quick pickup turned into a 40-minute ordeal where he cleaned it on the spot. If he had called me in advance to request more time, that would have been acceptable, though I would still be uneasy about why it needed multiple cleanings. To his credit, the owner did offer me a seat and refreshments while I waited, but I was primarily concerned with getting back home for lunch before my meeting, which I nearly missed due to the extended wait. Additionally, he did offer me a partial refund which is why I did not give a 1-star review.

The gentleman that works here has taken up the sleeves of multiple long sleeve dresses for me and I could not even tell they were altered. I recently presented a challenge that was quite complicated; I had a two layer dress that wraps in front with ruching that needed hemming. He took off 4 inches and kept the contour of the dress perfectly! In addition to his beautiful work, he is very reasonably priced and he has quick turnaround from drop off to pick up. Again, I will never go anywhere besides Speedy Dry for my alterations!
