I have this gorgeous, fine silk blouse, gold like an egg yolk, fits me like a million bucks, brand new, and yeah- I spilled some cream of tomato soup on it like a moron. And it sat like that for three days because I was up in Seattle when the soup-collision happened. I did sprinkle some talcum powder on it, but I didn't want to risk destroying the fiber or color by washing it. I was so unhappy, I couldn't even look at it. The good folks at Promise Cleaners took one look at it, frowned and said, "Ooooohhhhhhh." Pretty much unable to guarantee it would come out. Which, understandable. It's a greasy, red soup stain on fine silk. But it came back today.... Looking like a million bucks! Gorgeous job! These folks are miracle workers.

Do not take your clothes here if you want them and you treated with respect…read more Have been taking my clothes to them for sometime for dry cleaning, where they have done an adequate but not exceptional job , but the last time a coat they cleaned came back with a rip in it that looks very much like a blade slash. This is an impeccable vintage piece that has sentimental meaning, and when I took the coat back into show them the rip and ask them to compensate me for it or have it repaired, I was told by the owner that she was sure they didn't do it, and she dismissed me immediately out of hand. Not a, "we will look into it", just an immediate dismissal, and the employee at the cash register was left to tell me that they would probably get back to me " within the week." Absolutely, terrible experience, terrible customer service, and clearly questionable ethics on the part of the owners. Not looking forward to taking them to Small Claims Court, but that's probably what is going to need to be done.

Everything was hung and bagged a bit nicer than other cleaners I've been. The owners were very nice to talk with and I got the feeling that they take pride in what they do. The most pleasant surprise was my headphones. I had checked the pockets on my wife's coats before bringing them in but had left a pair of headphones in the pocket of my jacket. Had they been ruined in the cleaning process it would have been completely my fault, but when I picked everything up, they were coiled and put clipped to the hanger with my coat. Little things like this, the good attitude of the owners and the attention to detail definitely make this a place I'll be using again and again.

However, whoever tried to fix them, cut into the pockets and resewed the waistband into the pockets. Not a good look. They charged me $25 per pair of sweatpants "to fix" equaling $75 to sew the waistband into the pocket. My $20 sweatpants turned into $45 sweatpants that I cannot wear X 3. Terrible
