I dropped 3 pair sweatpants off and asked them to remove the extra fabric below the elastic waistband. The woman who helped me told me that she could not tell me exactly how much it would cost me. They are sweatpants so I assumed it wouldn't be terrible. However, whoever tried to fix them, cut into the pockets and resewed the waistband into the pockets. Not a good look. They charged me $25 per pair of sweatpants "to fix" equaling $75 to sew the waistband into the pocket. My $20 sweatpants turned into $45 sweatpants that I cannot wear X 3. Terrible read more

My first experience here tells me that this little place charges about the highest per unit of any dry cleaner in the country. I took four outdoor wool items in and each cost 25 dollars each. I'm pretty frustrated with my experience here. I brought in three dresses, a jumpsuit, two shirts, a large winter coat, and a suit jacket to be cleaned and spent around $160. There's no dry cleaner where I live so I drove an hour each way to drop these items off and then that same drive to pick them up. Each round trip costs about $30 in gas so I was pretty disappointed to get home and discover two items were missing. I called and asked if they could be mailed, and she said no I'd have to come in for the items. No discount or reimbursement for the items was offered. So make sure you check that every item is there before you leave. read more

I had been looking for a local place for alterations. I don't need this service very often but previously I had been driving into downtown Portland and decided that I didn't want to drive that far. I brought a new pair of jeans in for a hem. I asked for original hem and, to my surprise when I picked my jeans up, found that I got a regular hem instead. The jeans have a worn in look so the regular hem looks "off". In addition, both the hem and stitching is uneven and crooked; I didn't notice the uneven hem until I inspected my jeans at home. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and offered to not charge me for the hem. He called to see if he could find the original hem and have them redo the work. The person who hemmed my jeans was not available and wasn't planning to be back until after the new year. They couldn't guarantee that they would be able to obtain the original hem but would try. The person who I interacted with seemed genuinely sorry for the mishap and confirmed that that request was written as original hem. Alterations are about the details. A hem is probably the least complicated and most common type of alteration so having it done incorrectly means I won't be going back. A quick visual check of the work and confirming the request on the tag would've caught the issue right away before the jeans were picked up. I am adding 1 star because they were super nice and empathetic. read more

This place is run by the sweetest couple and my husbands shirts always come back pristine and pressed.

I just went here for the first time and I'm really happy with how they did. I came in with a few jackets, dresses and sweaters. All were perfectly cleaned, pressed and folded. Everything was hung and bagged a bit nicer than other cleaners I've been. The owners were very nice to talk with and I got the feeling that they take pride in what they do. The most pleasant surprise was my headphones. I had checked the pockets on my wife's coats before bringing them in but had left a pair of headphones in the pocket of my jacket. Had they been ruined in the cleaning process it would have been completely my fault, but when I picked everything up, they were coiled and put clipped to the hanger with my coat. Little things like this, the good attitude of the owners and the attention to detail definitely make this a place I'll be using again and again. read more

I've been using this dry cleaner for the last year and they work really hard to keep their customers happy. My old dry cleaners went out of business and recommended this place. I work as a pilot so each month I give them my uniforms and they are always on time or early with my garments. I have left items in the pockets and they always come back to me. And even when I come in with a full load and ask if I can get my uniforms back in two days they try to work with me instead of just saying "no next week is all we can do".
