This was a year ago but I WAS SO MAD- they ruined a pair of pants- this was the first time I had them cleaned. They left them sitting when they were wet, so a trim piece left a dyed mark on my white pants that would not come out. They were worse than when I brought them in. They tried to shift blame, got no refund, no anything. I would not go there again with anything I valued. read more

I feel guilty for not writing my review earlier. I always go to them, but sadly moved out of state. Here's a story. I was down on my luck and had just lost my job. I needed to apply for new jobs so I dug out of my closet an outfit I could use and it was wrinkled bad. I don't know how to iron, so Parkway it was! I went down and was greeted by the nice lady as usual. I told her I needed it ironed and she said sure! We got to talking and I was like "Oh yea, job interview." About the clothes. She got them done while I was waiting which was amazing (I needed for next day, I had a callback). When it came to paying? She said "don't worry you're all set!" So kind! After that I knew this was my place. They've done my comforter even and did a great job (huge Ralph Lauren vintage one). I highly recommend this place. Kind owners! read more

I'm on their pickup/delivery route, so it's super convenient. My phone calls are answered if I have questions, and all their staff has been very friendly. I did, however, bring a new silk blouse in that had a mark from water on it, and when I got it back, they didn't get the spot out, and made a second, bigger spot next to it. The blouse was ruined and unwearable. They have however, gotten avocado out of a white blazer, so I guess they're hit or miss. The pickup & delivery is what keeps me as their customer. read more

We were in Portland for a few days and dropped off clothes on a Monday night. Promised to be ready on Wednesday morning by 7 am. On a whim we stopped by just before closing on Tuesday to see if the cleaning might be ready early. It was not. However, the wonderful employee at the front desk offered to fold the shirts right then so we didn't have to come back the next day. Now THAT's customer service!! read more

This place is a little further into Beaverton, but since I hadn't found a "go to" dry cleaner in the West Hills neighborhood I decided to give them a try. I found the prices are much more reasonable than some of the other cleaners in the West Hills Neighborhood, and since I have a considerable amount of work attire that I prefer to dry clean, it's nice to find a place that has reasonable prices for pants and blazers. Recently the 2 dresses I have brought in to either get altered or laundred have not been done. I had 1 dress there for a month that they forgot about and it wasn't done in time for a wedding I was attending. I didn't even receive a courtesy call. The scond dress dress has now been there 3 weeks and I went to pick up my dress and they lost the sash. They may be close to my house but we will probably not use them again after this last experience. read more

I wish there were negative stars. I used them one time only and I completely regret it. They failed to deliver back to me all of my laundry on my first visit (my only visit) When I called to inquire as to where the rest of my laundry was, they made it seem like I was trying to get something free. I told the gal I just want my clothes! When finally I got my clothes back. though I paid for it, it wasn't folded. There were new stains on my shirts, my whites were now "off white" and many items were now snagged. It's as if they put everything into one washer. I didn't even call to complain because I didn't want to be treated like it was my fault. It's done now, my clothes are ruined, nothing I can do about it now! DO NOT bring anything of value to this dry cleaner. I brought a $300 dress I had worn once to a wedding here with a few other items to be cleaned. The dress looked like new when I brought it in, but when the items were picked up, the dress was absolutely ruined. It was a soft lightweight light pink fabric, and after they 'cleaned' it, the fabric was now tough, scratchy, & shrunken, along with discoloration all over and grey splotches throughout. I was shocked there was no apology or even a note about one of my garments being damaged. I was upset since I don't usually pay that much for a dress but I had told myself it would be worth it since I could wear it all the time, that didn't turn out to be the case thanks to this terrible service. If you have any items that you care about being ruined, find a different company. read more

I already loved Parkway for their dry cleaning, but now I'm sold on their alterations too. I took them a cycling windbreaker with a missing zipper (teeth were still attached, but pull tab, etc was missing). They thought they would be able to replace the pull tab, but later discovered the entire zipper would need to be replaced. They purchased a special zipper to match those on the pockets, an unexpected expense, and the jacket now looks as good as new. Not only that, they discounted my bill because the repair was more than they had originally quoted. I am very happy both with their service and their workmanship. read more

Very happy with this service. Dry cleaning used to be a difficult process but these guys show up twice a week to my office like clockwork. They're personable and friendly, but get in/out very quickly. One time they kept my pants for an extended period of time and at first I was disappointed.. but then they explained that they were working on a stain that was particularly difficult to remove. NO STAR RATING!!!! I just picked up my wedding dress from getting steamed...not happy at all!!! One of their employees pinned my dress to hangers to hold it up!!! Putting pin size holes in my WEDDING dress I am to wear next weekend!!! Wtf kind of business is this!!!! If they were smart, they would have put my dress back on its original hangers and use the dress hanger strap. This is not the last they hear from me!!!! And NO I will not leave it there for you all to fix...I have no trust in your services.... read more

I have an authentic Navy Pea Coat circa 1948 which was handed down from my father. It is the one piece of clothing that I have an emotional attachment to, so choosing a dry cleaners to entrust its well-being took time. Do to the reviews here I finally decided this was the place. And I made the right choice. Over the years the buttons have been re sewn time and again, and one had fallen off and I had not had a chance to get around to it. When I brought in the coat I ask that all the buttons be re sewn to match. When I went to pick up the coat the one button had been sewn on but the rest were not touched. A little disappointing but not a big deal, because the coat looked great, better than it had ever looked since I inherited it. Because of the buttons they would not let me pay for the dry cleaning, even after I insisted. The staff are professional, courteous and honest; there prices are reasonable for the excellent care they give to their customers and the garments. They will continue to get my business. read more

Worst experience ever with an alteration. Left a leather jacket here in MID JULY to have sleeves shortened. Stopped in several times to see if it had been returned from their outsourced vendor. At one point they said the vendor had lost the jacket and then found it and were working on it. Finally, in NOVEMBER, the jacket was back. This was a new jacket. There was some sort of white stuff stuck to the back and what appear to be staple marks in the hem of the jacket. The price was also more than originally quoted, and no one called to ask if that was okay before proceeding. The white stuff was cleaned off by Parkway, but only after a lot of complaining and telling them it was not there when the jacket was dropped off, since it was brand new when it was given to them for tailoring in July. No satisfaction, no apologies and would not honor their quoted price. This was our second bad experience here. Had another coat altered, but first they sent it out for cleaning and when we picked it up, had not been altered, but cleaned.....and it was brand new. Bad communication with their vendor. NEVER GOING BACK HERE. read more
