I had heard great things about this place, so I had to check it out. I wanted a pedicure for some pampering since I could not get a massage appointment at my regular spot. The staff polite and gave me an appointment on short notice. Boy was I surprised. the place was clean, spotless. The massage chairs were brand spanking new and worked very well to de-stress me after a long day of WFH zoom meetings. I had been to other places for this service, but the pedi I got here was the best I ever received. deep scrub cleaning, toe nail maintenance, Callous treatment and soothing foot and ankle massage. She even took a few minutes to carefully remove an ingrown toenail that had been bothering me for over a year, saving me a trip to the podiatri$t. I will definitely come back. I have seen a lot of turnover in that shopping center, but I hope she sticks around a long time. read more

I've followed Cindy and Diane now for almost 7 years. Each time I go I feel like I'm visiting friends for a couple hours. Cindy gives the best pedicures and takes her time to give excellent service. I'm at the point that I ask her to choose which color she wants to apply. She also knows, due to a medical condition, I have really deep nail beds and terribly thin/brittle nails. She really takes her time and goes slow so I don't get knicked. I used to always get cut with other salon techs. I'm really pleased with this shop and especially these technicians. read more

Worst experience ever!!!!!! They argue and fight with customers, argue with eachother, made my nails rediculously thick after asking for thin, put designs on my daughters nails without permission just to add more to my bill. Charged more for my nail polish without telling me because there is NO way of knowing that when your choosing from the same polishes, would've been nice to know they have different pricing. Took over 2 hours when we're the only ones there! Theifs! Theifs! Theifs! Crappy job!!!! read more

The Great: Your Lee Nails experience greatly depends on your tech. Tony is by far the best tech there. He works very tediously and ensures that your nails look and feel fantastic. His massages, alone, are worth the visit! The Good: I'm not sure why the previous reviewer saw it as dirty, but I have been there a few times and it has never been dirty; the nail stations have acrylic dust on them (obviously) but that is far from dirty. If you plan to go on a Friday evening, or on the weekends expect a wait, but during the week they are fairly open. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes. The OK: They have great tv's set up around their salon, yet I am assuming that they got some sort of deal on the group of them because every 5 minutes the show cuts out to some odd advertisement for the tv brand itself... very odd. Overall Lee Nails is nice if you are looking for a simple, nice pedicure or manicure. read more

this was my first visit, my regular nail salon was booked, so i thought i'd try out another place (bad idea). when i first walked in i thought "hmm maybe this won't be so bad". then one of the two female techs there was complimenting me so much it made me uncomfortable... at first it was nice like i wasn't feeling any type of way. but then it got excessive when she was saying "why you so cute Maddy" then talking to her other customers about me saying "i heard her voice on the phone and knew she was going to be cute" "i can hear someone's voice and know if they're going to be hot or not". and to the other customers that were there, (they were an older couple, so cute) the tech was doing the woman's feet and literally flirting with her husband. i felt so uncomfortable. the tech (Lan) was gentle at first, but it seemed like after more time went by she got tired and rougher. did was a sweet lady, that's why i wasn't trying to give her a hard time. the message chair was on high POUNDING on my back to the point i was bouncing. yes, i know there's a remote to control it but due to covid it was covered in BUBBLE WRAP. i couldnt press a damn thing on that remote. at the end of the pedi, we're moving onto the full set of acrylics. when i sat down into the chair she started massaging my shoulders REALLY hard. like i mean it hurt, and i have a high pain tolerance, i have many tattoos and piercings. i asked for fall leaves on a couple fingers and she have me neon orange and yellow crooked ass leaves. $101 for what? with no tip. ridiculous. never coming back. read more

My 9y/o daughter and I walk in to just get basic pedicures, we sit down and I am looking at the service menu as the water is filling up in feel something go over the top of my foot so I look down and it's a freaking used bandaid that does not belong to me. I immediately kinda flipped out a little saying how gross it was telling my daughter to get her feet out of the water and that we are getting out of there. I'm not sure if it was the owner or manager or maybe just an employee but their response was "it's just a bandaid ". ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! So I then went ahead and let them know how I felt about it, how unsanitary that was and how that's an obvious sign of them not cleaning and sanitizing properly. So no I didn't actually make it through a service there and I never will. So nasty read more

Awful, awful experience. I haven't been here in quite a few years, and from what I remembered things were clean, well-organized, and the staff was incredibly friendly. There must have been a change in management. Fast-forward to this past weekend. I headed over with my mom to get pedicures on a Saturday afternoon around 11:30 or so. When we walked in, we were encouraged to sign in by a woman doing a manicure. There were two technitians working on two manicures, and one of the techs led us back to the pedicure area and filled the bowls with water. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the salon was. The carpet was stained, the sink had goop running down the front, there were dirty balled-up paper towels on the floor...it was a mess! The only comforting factor was that the tools were in an autoclave, though who knows if it was even turned on. After my mom and I had a seat, we decided to ignore the floor and appreciate the fact that the tools seemed to be sterile, and settled in. 25 minutes pass, and we still haven't been seen by anyone (we expected another tech to walk in at any minute.) The other techs were totally involved in the manicures, and there was no ending in sight. In addition, we realized that another woman was waiting on her manicure as well! Our water had gone cold, our feet were wrinkly, and so we decided to get up and leave. As we were leaving, another woman came in for a pedicure and was turned away by the female tech at the front. We tried to politely explain that they seemed busy and that we would leave, and the tech began explaining, "No, no, I'll take you now!" Obviously this was offered by only one woman, so it would've taken another hour for us to both be seen, so we left. As we left, the female tech ran out the door and started yelling to the woman who she turned away, "Girl! Hey girl! I'll take you now!" All in all, completely avoid this place. The customer service is poor (we would've understood if the woman had told us there was a 30 minute wait!), the facilities are filthy, and there are much better places in the area to take your business to. read more

I hoped for the best as I ran in for an unscheduled mani/pedi. Once my feet were in the bowl, (which looked clean enough) I noticed the tech had a little tin box of tools. I did not see an autoclave anywhere. That's when I noticed how dingy & rundown everything was. Just not clean. My tech was ok. She didn't speak English, which made communication impossible. She poured rubbing alcohol over every tool she used. She actually used a hand-held cheese grater in my feet. At one point, she put it down in the dirty floor, picked it up & continued using it. I will never go back -- good salon sanitation is non-existent here. read more

Do yourself and your doctor a favor and stay FAR, far away from this establishment. The unfortunate reality for all of us Lusby locals is that the owner of this salon has monopolized the area with three nail salons - all offering equally poor service and disgusting, unsanitary conditions/equipment. I could write several pages of complaints about all 3 shops but I'll keep it to this specific visit. Asked for a basic manicure with UV gel polish. After placing my fingers in a bowl of acetone for a few minutes my technician started to scrape off my old polish but as soon as 3 new patrons came in the door, he put my fingers back into the acetone and promptly started working on the 3 new customers pedicures! Finally after 10 or so minutes, another technician came over to take care of my manicure. All of the technicians carry around a plastic or metal pencil box containing various manicure tools - cuticle trimmers, cuticle pushers, nail clippers, etc. I noticed that the tools that the 1st guy started using on my fingers were the same tools he was now using on the other customers feet! I can only assume that those tools were used on many feet throughout the day prior to being used on my fingers. So gross. It amazes me that the health department hasn't been called on these people. The autoclave machine was not in sight, if there was even one on the premises. A few more customers came in which meant that my already lackluster manicure was hurried through even more. No hand massage, not a single drop of lotion used, my nails and cuticles looked rough and ragged and the polish was sloppily applied. I'll never return to any of these 3 salons. Fingers crossed that St. Marys county has something better to offer. read more

After reading the reviews I was skeptical but I figured I would give it a try and see if anything had changed. I got a pedicure. All the tools were clean. The staff was friendly and listened to my concerns. I think they need to tidy up a bit and get the word out that they are still here and doing good. I would go back for another pedicure. read more

At lees nails right now. Got a pedicure and there is polish all over my skin. As I'm leaving pedicure chair they tell me to sit wherever so I can get my gel manicure. They stop helping me and go to other clients. After 10 minutes I ask to just pay my check and whom I assume is the manager finally gets someone to work on me. Then for 5 minutes straight they are yelling which I assume is about me. They keep looking at me. My feet. And the manicurist still has not said hello. Besides my experience the place is filthy !! I'm not going to tell anyone who gave lower than a 4 star rating that they are wrong about how "filthy" Lee's Nails are. I've been going to Lee's Nails since I was 4 years old. I personally know Lee, he owns 3 other nail salons in Maryland and is a very nice man. The employees are so very nice, they may not speak our language fully but who are you to tell them that just because you don't understand them they are bad at what they do. Maybe that day someone was having a bad day, maybe their were other people that went there to get their nails done and they had to rush, or maybe they just don't like your attitude. But I have never once been unsatisfied with my nails as a kid or now. Some employees I've known as a kid so maybe they wanted to do the best they could for me, some of them might not have known that I know Lee, didn't care and did their job. I've seen them clean their tools before, where do you think they go when they are finished with a costumer. They go to checkout with their costumer, ask for the next, if there is one, show the costumer their seat, put some water in a tub, and put your fingers in acetone, and go to a back room, and what do they do their? They wash their tools. How do you know they didn't get a new box of tools or something? You don't. They are so nice to children and adults of both genders. This is my personal experience and it might be nothing like yours was but hopefully this helped you. Also, you say it's "filthy", I wanna know what your house's attic or basement looks like. Don't judge a book by it's cover. read more
