Not coming back. Last pedicure was not great and this one isn't great either. Just look at the photos. I paid $80 for this gel pedicure. I got the one above the lowest one - which includes callus removal because apparently adding that to the basic would've made it just as expensive. The spa has a nice upscale vibe and the drinks are still free but the quality of service you get for the price doesn't align. The employees here are very nice but... nah.

A couple of my friends have standing appointments here, so I decided to give this place one more go... and it was well worth it. I don't remember seeing any of the nail techs from my 2019 visits, so I'm not sure if this place is under new management, staff overhaul, or if they've done some serious customer service training. Either way, it's MUCH better than my previous experiences. I enjoyed my time there and the mango-strawberry frozen drink really hit the spot on a hot summer day. [adding pics from 2 week old mani/pedi session. __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

Today, I went in for a gel mani-pedi which they charge $65...?ok. There's no price list around but they always do a great job so i've never paid it any mind. However, this time was different. I requested a specific color for my toes... they didn't have it.ok cool. I try again.. they didn't have that either.. ok cool. My pedicure was going well until the pedicurist called over the manicurist by the name of Joe who didn't greet me... just immediately picked my hand up and asked if i want them cut down. i said no just filed to be even. He starts cutting them anyway.ok no turning back from that. Joe starts on my right hand and then has me cross my left arm over my body so he can work on that too. For 35 minutes I sat uncomfortably so that they could do two services at one time to leave faster. I understand that folks are ready to go so Im all for whatever gets us out of here.. as long as it looks good. All of this would've been worth it if the mani-pedi looked good but it didn't. my nails were roughhhhly filed, there was so much attitude, the shaping is off... none of the nails are the same shape and there are bubbles and particles and polish all over my nails in places it shouldn't If i'm paying 65 for a pedi and 45 for a mani i expect the work to always be good. They can never explain the prices either. When asked why the pedi was $65, the receptionist said well the upgraded pedi is more and i told her i didn't select that.. she said well you got gel so they charged more... ok?? how much more i asked if it's 10 extra or what? she says 25. i say ok. If you're going here do not go to Joe. Now my cuticles are messed up, my shaping is ugly and my nails are much shorter. It's disappointing because I favored this place out of every other local place. Usually they do a great job. This is the first time i've been disappointed but it definitely left a mark. edit: BEWARE.. management is snarky, will tell you they do not offer refunds but it's not posted anywhere!!!!

As a Valentine's Day gift, my girlfriend gifted us the "VIP pedicure" at V Spa. We made a weekend reservation and took the 35 minute trek to Maryland. V spa is located in a plaza so there was a decent amount of parking. Once we arrived, we were guided to the VIP suite, which is in a private wing. This suite included snacks, juice and even the toilet in the bathroom was automatic. The entire experience was excellent: the massage chair, the pedicure, the hot towel treatment on your legs, followed by a short 5 minute massage at the end. V spa gets my highest recommendation! I'll drive back for this same experience maybe twice a year. My only suggestion is that they open a door or get more ventilation, because the fumes from the manicures were very strong in the main area.

This is was my first time trying them and I am VERY pleased! I came in at about 7P and they were only able to accommodate polish changes since they were closing at 8P, but I was okay with that. My tech was Nina and she was really sweet. I was honestly skeptical because most places aren't the most friendly especially when they're closing, but Nina was pleasant. She was patient with me as I chose my colors and even gave me a little razzle dazzle. I will surely be back to have the full experience with her! Update: Turns out Nina's special touch and pleasant accommodations were a perfect set up for my engagement just a week later I was completely surprised so of course, this set is even more special!

If I could give zero stars I would... The unprofessional saga of V SPA continues! So even though my last review which was a month ago ended on a bad note and I had made up my mind that I was not going to return to V Spa I figured I might give them a second chance regardless of the racist manager Kim. Now has a little bit of background I've been going to V Spa since before V Spa even existed I used to go to Jimmy and KV when they owned a nail shop across from Best Buy 9 to 10 years ago! Since they open V Spa I have been a loyal customer to them to include bringing my 18-year-old daughter, my sister, my niece, my mother my ex husband and friends and family. So needless to say I have been extremely foolishly loyal and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars a year at this establishment for many years ! Today I called regarding an appointment I was supposed to have with Peter at 1 PM which I made on September 20, 2022 even though I had a bad experience last time I made appointments all the way through December. Now no one has bothered to email me nor text me to tell me that my appointments were canceled even though they have an automated system instead they did sneaky underhanded shit and just deleted all of my appointments without notifying me. Wow what a lack of honesty and a lack of professionalism. The sad part is I truly love KV as a person and I used to adore Jimmy and Peter but clearly it shows that they Jimmy doesnt care about loyalty and will be rude to you and dismiss you as soon as you piss them off or leave a bad review. Extremely unprofessional!!! I will definitely be spreading the word to EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID GOING TO VSPA!!

Found this place after visiting a nail salon close by. Glad I did. Social distancing is enforced. Hand sanitizer available. Clean. Comforting atmosphere. My nail tech was Kathy. Mrs. Kathy is what I call her now. She was nice and gentle with my cuticles. Pedicure felt amazing. Didn't want it to end. She cleaned up my eyebrows. I always have a tear or 2 fall when getting eyebrows waxed. Because I'm a big baby. Not this time. I got my first fill in after getting a silk wrap full set a few weeks ago. And I love my nails. She chose my designs. I only chose the colors. Love this place and I will be returning. They are being careful so only people who are getting serviced are allowed inside.

This was my first time getting a manicure, courtesy of my lovely girlfriend, and it was a great experience! Even though I was kinda nervous, for whatever reason, it turned out to be very nice and relaxing. Great first time experience, totally recommend. I mean just look at those nails!

    Jamal B.

The decor & waiting area is very well done. The Technician I had, appropriately named Angel, was very good. She didn't rush, and seemed to care about providing the best pedicure. I watched the other customers as they were getting their respective pedicure and everyone seemed as pleased as I. I highly recommend V-Spa... they are #MallyMallApproved

Gel polish did not even last a week. Three of my nails were already completely off after 3 days. As some other reviewers mentioned, may have to do with the off-brand polish. But with a $25 up charge for gel, this is a little unfair. Spa pedicure wasn't anything to rave home about. If you come, just get a regular polish.

Waldorf yall did it to me again! This was posted on Monday, April 27, 2026 at around noon…read more I just paid $59 plus a lil tip (because I'm not a monster) for the most basic azz, botched pedicure of my life! Her name was Brenda and she's been working at the shop for about a year and she also works at Longhorn in the area. She was nice and all yall but she basically tickled my feet and gave me one of the worse paint job I've ever experienced. I have a question WALDORF, how do you all give this place almost 4 stars for work like this?! I don't like to post my feet unless I'm getting paid but I had to make an exception because what? I went in with the intent to get a pedicure and gel nail but when I'm somewhere new, I start with seeing how they do on my pedicure first. This was a Spanish speaking shop across from a Spanish Market and next door to a liquor store which is neither here nor there but for informational purposes only. Listen, it was quiet (went on a Monday around 11:30am) and the ladies seemed super sweet but yall.... I'm sure she has no idea how displeased but b/c I'd rather receive mediocre service than gripe and complain I just grinned and bared it. I'm no Karen okay! But yall It's only remotely not that bad only because it's gel. I mean how much can you mess that up, right! But yall, it was way too costly for how sloppy the work and just not worth it. I did the basic gel pedicure with paraffin. Something I don't do often. I selected a light or Barbie pink color but I changed it because she was having so much trouble finding my color choice. Here is all she did wrong: 1. No proper intro: hello, my name is Brenda, thank you for coming in today. Please pick your color and take a seat and I'll be right with you. 2. Too light of a touch. I actually felt like she was being funny or just really scared. 3. No gentle suggestive selling. She actually started my service w/o know my color choice and stating her English is not too good. Okay but come on! Make that money girl and don't just over charge for subpar service PLEASE!! 4. The water was very shallow and luke warm. She simply handed me a price list and did not clarify my desire of service. 5. The paint was sloppy and all on my cuticles and top of toe. I have fat, wide feet with a short, very square nail bed. So I don't require a ton of polish. I like sharp line and thin even coats. I am so sick of this! I gotta go all the way to VA for professional nail service because Waldorf girlies just can't get it right. Waldorf yall full of subpar services and I'm over it!! I'm sorry to the owner for this harsh review but I gotta be real. Consistency is key the people will pay more for that. My money is too hard earned for this foolishness. The nails are really just barely okay and that not okay. I could have saved my $65 and did it myself. ‍Never again!‍

The technician was polite, but she immediately began cutting my natural nails without asking if I wanted them shortened. I had to stop her. Clients should always be consulted before altering their natural nails. During my service, the pedicure tub was left running and overflowed onto the floor. An older gentleman who had just walked in as a customer offered to help clean it up while I was sitting there soaking. That was kind of him, but it should not have happened in a professional setting. It became clear that only one technician was trying to service me and two other clients simultaneously. I was there for three hours, no joke. Eventually, her sister was called in to assist. When she arrived, she questioned the type of product on my nails and debated with me about whether it was dip powder. She also began criticizing my regular nail tech and repeatedly tried to upsell me on overlays after I explained that I naturally have thin nails. The pedicure portion felt rushed and heavy-handed toward the end. To make matters worse, when I was ready to pay, I was told they only accept Zelle or cash. There was no visible notice of this beforehand. I do not carry cash and was directed to an ATM, which charged a fee. After spending three hours there, that was extremely frustrating. Despite the overall experience, I was still asked if I wanted to add eyebrow services. I came in simply needing my nails and toes done. Instead of leaving relaxed, I left feeling stressed and inconvenienced. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Additionally, everything felt very rushed, and they didn't do a good job. In total, I paid $160 for a kids "pedicure" with regular polish, a gel pedicure with callus removal for me, and a fill with gel and a V French. For what I paid, I expected the same quality that I typically get from my girl down the street. That is not what I got. Instead, I got rushed through the process, got my cuticles dug into by that weird drill, they use. And left with gel on my toes that chipped already? And let me be clear, I am writing this review less than 10 hours after leaving the shop. Also, they didn't even help my daughter with her shoes, putting them back on or anything. And before we even walked out, I noticed that her regular polish on her pedicure had already smudged off because they didn't allow them to properly dry and told her it was fine. Also, look at My Nail photos. The V French looks seemingly clean at first, but when you look to the side and at the tips and edges? Not thoroughly painted and sloppy. Also, some of these nails are far thicker than the others. And I truly can't understand how I feel here ended up costing more than a full set with a full blown design at another shop down the road. Again, everything felt super rushed here. They didn't offer drinks. They didn't even ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in this area.

This is my absolute favorite place to go in the area to get my nails done. Best atmosphere -…read morerelaxing jazz music, no chemical smell, conversations held in hushed tones - and best services (my suggestions are at the very bottom). Prices are comparable to other higher end salons in the area, but you feel like you are the only one there and that they will do whatever they need to do to make sure you get your services done in a satisfactory manner. I have been going to them ever since they opened their doors and there was one time (pre-COVID) where they were running really behind...they normally close at 8 but Katie and Pepper stayed until my pedicure and nails were done at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night no less. BLESS THEM. I work in VA but I will never go there for services because I want to support Katie (the owner) and her family and the other staff. Literally the minute Hogan announced salons could open again I called Sparenity and booked an appointment for the day they reopened. You will not be disappointed with your services and will feel totally safe due to what measures they've put in place to protect themselves and other clients: - The tables where you sit to get your nails done have changed in configuration to allow for proper social distancing. - There is a thick piece of plastic wall between you and the tech and you place your hands under it to have the services performed. -For pedicures the procedure is the same however they leave the middle pedicure chair open so you're not right up on someone. The same thick clear plastic divider material is cut so you stick your feet under it and is tall enough that it matches up with the height of the chair. - You must wear a mask at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS. - Services are by appointment only; no exceptions and no walk ins. - If you arrive early you must wait in your car and they will call you when it's your turn, - they have hand sanitizer everywhere - before you get your services done you and the tech wash your hands and then use the hand sanitizer provided before sitting down at their station. - They limit how many color sample cards are being circulated and they sanitize them after you have used them. - There are no more treats like the cookies or fresh fruit and there are also no more drinks. :( That's the worst part for me because man they had the best thai milk tea there - I LOVED IT (almost more than the nail services and that's saying something). - They are cashless except for tips now and they prefer you pay by CashApp or Venmo. You can still earn your points during this current period but they aren't allowing you to cash in any of your points at this time which is understandable since they lost so much revenue by being closed for three months almost. However, Katie told me that in the future when they open it back up again, you can use as many points as you want (previously it was only 10 points at a time, which gave you $10 off). I've had all sorts of services there from my standard SNS dip powder (Mike is exceptional with his attention to detail and artistry for designs) to gel pedicures (Pepper is the best for pedicures!) to bikini waxing (with Katie) and also massages (I forgot who I had but she gave me the most amazing head and neck massage that cured a two week migraine cycle in its tracks). You can absolutely not go wrong coming here. Take the time to come in and TREAT YO' SELF so you can forget for a small bit that 2020 has been such a dud.

I have been here several times and have even left a good review in the past, but Friday, March 20,…read more2026 at 2:15pm I was highly disappointed with the attitude of Rosa Lee. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter last week to get a pedicure, manicure, and a full set. Mary did a wonderful job on my daughter's feet. She was kind, gentle, and handled her with great care. After Mary finished, she sent my daughter to Rosa Lee. I made sure she understood that a manicure was supposed to be completed first then she'd get a full set. Rosa Lee looked at my daughter's nails scoffed and said she needed to go grab tools. She came back and began pushing back her dry cuticles so I asked about the manicure. Her response was, "I'm going to do her cuticles first." Then she pulled out the drill the rough up her nails which caused my daughter to pull back twice because of how rough she was. I asked again bout the manicure. She said okay. When she pulled out the nails to glue tips on I stopped and explained that a manicure was supposed to be completed first per my request of services. Rosa Lee rudely responded that she had already cut my daughter's cuticles. I explained that I was specific and Rosa Lee pushed back her chair, dropped her tools, and said "Well we will just have to speak to someone." I responded, "Yes we will." and asked for Kevin who booked us. He was out but Lina came over apologized on Rosa Lee's behalf and told her to get a bowl to soak my daughter's nails and give her the manicure as requested. Rosa Lee jumps up and says, "I don't have time because I have another client!" I responded, "Then you should have led with that and we would have waited for another nail tech instead of being rushed." Lina apologized again and asked Audi to do my daughter's nail work. Audi took her time and was kind. I asked Rosa Lee her name and she responded with, "You don't need to know my name." I simply walked away asked Kevin when he returned and I explained what happened. He took $5 off of the $165 that was charged and apologized for the miscommunication. I did let him know there was no miscommunication because Rosa Lee simply dismissed my instructions and questions after being told and asked three times about the manicure. This experience felt hurtful especially since it was for my daughter's prom and her first time going here to get pampered. Again, I have never had issues any other time. The staff are kind and do great work, but I will never do business with Rosa Lee and due to this experience, I'm not sure I will be returning. I had planned to come back with my college student for a pampering session but customer service is a huge factor for me when choosing who I conduct business with. While Lina and the ones who handled my senior well. Rosa Lee caused me to rethink whether or not I will be returning. It is never okay to be dismissive to a customer who kindly ensures they are receiving the service they paid for. And it's absolutely okay to say to allow another person to do the service instead of attempting to make a quick buck especially when there are two other nail technicians who are available and capable.

My pedicure was great, could have done a better job with the callus removal but besides that, great. I was the only one so I'm not sure if tools were gonna be reused or what the situation was with that My full set was great. No complaints at all I believe Rosie did mine. Eyebrows are ok. They are clean by the symmetry could be a lot better. I just have to let them grow out lol

Booking has consistently been a challenge. In my experience, George does excellent work when he…read moreshows up--but he has failed to appear twice. I have to carefully coordinate my schedule and meetings, so a no-show is unacceptable. Today, service was refused by another staff member without any explanation. I had called ahead to inform them that the person getting a massage would be running late, and I was told it would be fine, with the understanding that the massage might be shortened to allow time for completing forms. However, when the masseuse entered the room, they had a noticeably negative attitude about the situation. ME as a whole has been going downhill since the pandemic. Turnover is ridiculous and customer service is hit or miss. Here is an excerpt from a similar situation, this review was posted 4/21/25: ".... was scheduled for a 2:00 PM massage appointment with Karen. Upon walking back with her, I asked for clarification about a comment made by the front desk associate, Elisa (sp), who mentioned, "You should get the best service she can give you since you're late." I simply wanted to understand what that meant. Karen responded with an unnecessarily sharp and dismissive tone, saying, "What does that have to do with anything?" Her response felt disrespectful and unprofessional, especially considering my cultural sensitivity to tone and communication style. At that point, I decided to cancel the appointment, as I no longer felt comfortable proceeding. The person who checked me in then informed me that I would be charged for being canceling, I would rather pay the fee than be massaged by someone who addressed me in such a manner." Read the reviews.....customer service is an ongoing issue.

I purchased a 3-pack massage gift series ($300) at the Waldorf, MD location on June 30, 2025. I was…read moretold the recipient could "just walk in" and redeem the package at any Massage Envy location. That turned out to be completely false. The recipient, who understands how Massage Envy works, attempted to schedule on July 2nd. She was told the next available appointment at Waldorf wasn't until August -- even though online availability showed several openings within a few days. It felt like the staff was purposely making it difficult to redeem the gift. When I confronted them, they suggested trying another location. That second location said the gift could only be used at the original Waldorf store -- again, contradicting what I was told during purchase. I called Waldorf to escalate, but was refused access to a manager and even given a fake corporate phone number. The entire experience was unprofessional, dishonest, and frustrating. The associate who sold me the package appeared to know she'd misled me but offered no help. Unless this is resolved, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
