After much research I've decided I wanted to try a med spa and seek out a consultation for anti-aging treatments. During my first visit I went for a facial. Numa offers facials at three tiers and I opted for the 30min. The facial was fine but because I got slightly lost attempting to locate the office I wasn't relaxed and it wasn't the treat I was in search of. After my facial I met with Melissa for a pre-planned injectable consultation. I didn't know what I wanted but knew the areas I wanted to treat. Melissa was/is very knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me anything. We talked about the benefits of injectables to enhance and give a fresh appearance without feeling over-done. I was very comfortable with Melissa's suggestions and opted for a few units of Botox in my lower face. It was painless and we only used ice to numb. After my 2 week return visit we discussed the slight differences and continued with a recommended treatment plan for optimal results. Because I've done research I know injectables should be approached as a marathon and not a sprint. Slowly leads to the best natural appearing results. If you are on the fence I highly suggest setting up a consultation. I can confidently say you won't leave with "the same face" as everyone walking around with enhancements. Sara is the only one I trust with my face, she listens to what I want and is an absolute expert in aesthetics. I was a client of hers when she was in Seattle. I've never received any type of filler, Botox, etc., and honestly, didn't know much about these types of things. I started following Sarah (one of their injectors) on Instagram, and was drawn in by her work. Unlike other injectors in the area, her work seemed natural. Like I wasn't going to walk out of there looking like a Beverly Hills Housewife. I finally pulled the trigger after months of holding back, and scheduled a consultation. Their consultations are free. Some med spas want to change you for an initial consultation. Upon walking in I was like "wow, this place has great vibes." Clean, modern, amazing decor in a quaint little area in Cross Keys. It's easily accessible from downtown and the county since it's right off 83. Huge parking lot so that's not an issue either. My initial consultation was so informative and I learned so much about the different types of injectables and procedures, how long they last, recovery times, etc. I didn't feel pressured and like they were pointing out every single flaw in my face. There were actually things that I pointed out, like how one cheek was a little fatter than the other, and they explained that faces are never Symmetrical and things like my jaw line attribute to something like this. I appreciated that instead of them telling me how THEY could fix it. I decided to start with Botox in my forehead to reduce deep lines I had. The process was pretty quick and painless. Sarah starts subtitle so it's not over done and looks natural. I'll be going back for a 2 week follow up to see if any more tweaks need to be done. If you're a first timer like me, I definitely recommend Sarah and Numa. You'll feel comfortable, not pressured, and not told you need to "fix" your entire appearance! Today I came in with the expectation of getting a chin filler... instead I cheated on my regular Botox lady! I'm ecstatic to have found this place and looking forward to my future visits here. From the interior design, the receptionist, Casey and Sarah- everything was beyond what my expectations were. Casey took her time to go over the nitty gritty details of all their services and was patient with all my questions. Sarah, the owner and injector is a lovely person! She really made me feel at ease and is extremely knowledgeable. I'm sure everyone has walked out previously from their injector feeling worst about themselves, however Sarah has great bedside manner and ensures to not be critical. She really made me feel like I already had great features and also gave me suggestions on areas to enhance. I went into the appointment thinking I was going to get a chin filler, however Sarah suggested Botox in the chin area and seeing that outcome before getting Kybella. I've also received masseter treatment from my previous injector, but, I let Sarah know I did not feel like the outcome was as drastic as I wanted it to be. I've been getting Botox for approximately 6 years. I've seen two different dermatologists in the past. It's difficult to put into words how happy I am to have found Sara and the rest of the staff at Numa. I typically feel very rushed when I'm getting treated as my previous providers literally took about 2 minutes to do my Botox.
