They get to know you in a non invasive way and then remember at later appointments to ask how you're doing, about friends or family that you've referred, etc They do a great job on acrylic nails and work with you if you want gel polish or regular, whether you want all one color, different colors and or designs. Worst experience ever! Avoid at all costs! The owner was not very attentive to me and actually cut my toe. Instead of apologizing, he kept insisting it just happens. He tried to clean up the blood a little but then went off to take another customer. I waited for a bit and tried to clean up the blood. He got upset and insisted that I pushed too hard and I needed to wait until tonight or tomorrow for it to stop and then clean it. I had to ask for a bandaid because none was offered. I didn't want to bleed all over on my way home. In addition, I had to pay more for him to supposedly remove my calluses. He did an awful job and they are still there. He never cleaned beneath my nails either. My feet look absolutely terrible - worse than when I walked in! I returned to talk with them and suggest they apologize but that never happened. They claimed I got what I asked for. Do not go to this establishment!! I wish I could give them a negative score. read more

I went in to get my shellac removed and sat at a table waiting for my manicurist to finish up her own. My hands were soaked in freezing cold water, my nails were not clipped, she over trimmed my cuticles, did not buff my nails (which if you've had shellac before, should know that once Chillax removed your nails are kind of rigid as it strips your nails upon removal), and there was no cuticle oil or a treatment afterwards. OH NO. JUST, PLEASE DON'T. First red flag when I went in for my powder change was the tech CUT DOWN MY LONG, HEALTHY, NATURAL NAILS, (i keep a long length), and used a nail tip to remove the rest of the powder. I then got charged extra for fake tips to reach my desired length because she cut my GD nails off! Final result was uneven, lumpy, unfinished looking nails for $60. Never again. read more

The man was ripping us of he was saying that if we wanted a one plain color it would cost more then if we wanted designs, we asked for simple line designs... and it turned out looking like a 5 year old did them. There was a whole bunch of glue left all over our nails. Took off nail polish and immediately put it right back on, and didn't clean our cuticles or anything else. I came in on a Friday around 4:30. With it being Friday I thought the salon would be full, to my surprise there were only 3 other ladies there. When I walked in I was asked what services I needed. I only wanted a gel manicure. A gel manicure is 35 dollars, which personally I think it's a little much, I'm used to paying between 20-25 dollars. If I just wanted gel nail polish it was 20 dollars. So I settled for just the gel polish. The lady who did my nails name is Tina and she was super friendly and nice. She filed my nails and did my polish in less than 30 minutes. She informed me that it's a family business and that her husband does a full set quickly and well. I'm not a fan of acrylics but I will definitely be back to see Tina for a manicure. The only reason I'm giving them four stars is because like I said I think their prices are a bit high, the service I received was great. read more

I specifically asked for matte nails (even showed a picture) and they completely ignored me. Job overall was very mediocre. I went to go get my eyebrows done from there too and they turned out fine, however, when I go to pay, they inform me it's a $20 card minimum (eyebrows were $10) so I had to go to Safeway and pull out money... just kind of a pain in the a**. It's worth it to go to Spokane to get your services elsewhere. read more

Was was there today. Who's an awful experience. First of all my ankles will never need to be rubbed again because that's all the guy did was run my ankles for 5 minutes. Secondly I have no pinky toe on my left foot and my big toe is basically cut in half the toenail is. I got Jill and it's not even covering all of my nail. I will not go back. I reserve my 1 and 5 star reviews for the truly worst and best reviews. Lee Nails reflects the former. I went in one day for a simple brow wax. The place was full and as I signed in the staff pointed to the waiting area and said "you wait there!". It was a long wait, probably around 20-30 minutes? After waiting around too long I got up and decided to leave. The owner pointed and said "you soon, wait!". It was only about 5 minutes until they were ready, but it was too long already. When they finally called me back they used the "come here" finger gesture and pointed to the bed, then waxed me without a word. They didn't even do a very good job with the waxing and wouldn't communicate when they were about to pull the strip (that hurts!). The cost was $7, but they demanded a $10 minimum because of their unposted debit card policy. Unposted policies, treating me like an animal, speaking to me in only broken and demanding English, and talking to all of the staff in another language*? I'd suggest running as fast as you can away from this place. * I am aware that this is the case with many nail places, but this place is the worst I've ever seen, and unabashedly rude to boot. read more

Compared to places I have been in the past, they have great prices (shellac was $25 for just painting and I think $30 or $35 for full manicure). Love! I went in expecting the usual thick acrylic nails that you always get at cheaper nail salons and was pleasantly surprised to have them applied thinly and very natural looking! They did a great job of getting the length I actually wanted (they usually leave them a lot longer than asked) and where very kind and talkative. Like others the first couple of times I went and my nails looked great however over time the quality became less and less. with my last pedicure my nail polish came off after a day and a half. They don't have the small tool that allows them to get under the nail and sand for smoothness and there are lines all over my nails from where they didn't do good enough prep before applying new acrylic. The most important thing though is that they use the same files and buffing implements on different people so my main concern is about how sanitary it is. This place is awful. It's dirty and gross. I went into get a pedicure and during the process I saw them reuse their instruments on different people. The do not use a sanitizing machine like normal salons everything is just washed with soap and water...which is not enough in my opinion. I went to the bathroom where you could see a washing machine where they eve wash disposable latex gloves to reuse. I understand trying to save money but you can not sacrifice sanitization to do it. read more

First couple times I went I was happy with my manicure. I noticed the quality started to slip after the third visit. Tina was the owners wife that worked on my nails. After a couple times I noticed that the sign said that gel manicures are $30 and up. That is more than I am used to paying but it is close to home so I overlooked it. When Tina finished my nails she told me my total was $45!! I payed it because I got French manicure and they do normally charge more for that. But I made a note and left. The next visit I asked for a solid color and at the end of my service Tina quoted my total at $40. Not wanting to cause a fuss I paid it and left. Thinking I don't know why, and is she just asking for what she thinks I will pay? I went back for the final time (mind you quality is not the best at this point. She is rough with my nail beds and I leave with nicks and cuts from her not being very careful) this time I ask her how much is the manicure she quotes the price on the board. I choose the French manicure this time and when she finishes she asks me for $45! This is when I spoke up. You told me it was $30? Why so much more? She explained that the French is more and that when you come in with the gel on your nails it is automatically $5 more to remove it before placing more on. I have NEVER paid for this anywhere else!! Yet there is NO MENTION of this additional cost on the board!! I felt very taken advantage of! I will NDVER go back there!!!! It may only be $5 but they have the expensive end of the prices for the industry along with feeling lied to..... nope that's enough for me!!! My opinion, they are the only nail salon in town so they gouge on the price. If someone else gave them competition they would most likely lower their rates. read more

Did decent work the first couple of times I got a full set and fill and this last time were horrible! The owners wife did my nails and when I asked if she could do a specific design( marble), she said yes but clearly she couldnt and instead of telling me she couldnt do it ( which i would have been fine with) she left me with her second attempt which just looked like blurred out lines. I could tell by the look on her face that she KNEW it looked bad but she still charged me $8 for it plus $10 for fixing two of my nails which to me is a little excessive. When i went in later that day to get the design taken off the owner didnt paint/cure them correctly so later once i was at work the gel started to peel at the edges AND one of my nails broke in half!!! Then when I went back today(theyre closed weekends) to get the one nail fixed and another 3 nails repainted he couldnt find the color they originally used so instead he told me if i wanted them repainted all the same color and my nail fixed he would charge me $10!!! Meaning i would overall be paying $63 for a fill!!! I will never go back here and I encourage anyone with acrylics to avoid this place. Im not just writing this because i paid too much or because im angry i want people to know that though you may have good experiences there the first few times, once they realize you're becoming a regular they will start to take advantage of you. read more

Went to go get a fill, she did such a bad job. There where still gaps. The fill chipped off in hours to a few days. For that price I should of went into Spokane and got them filled. Even where she grinded the nail down you could see dirt, and discoloration. Won't be going again. read more

I went here 5-6 times for my gel nails and had a great experience every time. Then the owners daughter left to have her baby and the next time I went in it was horrible. The young lady that did my nails used a dermal tool to remove the gel (shellac) instead of soaking them off. It was very painful and she sanded them way too thin. Mind you I have been doing gel nails for almost 2 years and I was able to maintain an attractive length. Two days later two of my nails broke down to the quick. And then three more broke by the end of the week. I went in hoping that I could start to repair them and save the few that were left. I explained to the owner what had happened and told him I didn't want the same girl to do my manicure again. Guess what he obviously didn't understand me because he had me sit at her station. So, consequently when she came over to assist me I had to tell her sorry but I don't want you working on me. Lesson learned I should have just left then. They talk in a foreign language ( I think Philippine) so consequently the next young lady that came to do my nails used that darn Dremel tool again instead of soaking them. I have finally learned my lesson. Even though the location is convenient I will drive an extra 15-20 minutes to get my nails maintained. I know a few people who get their nails done here and they were satisfied. I was seated right away for my appointment, which I appreciated. I hate having an appointment and being made to wait. That's about the only positive thing I have to say about this place. The mani/pedi I received was easily the worst I've ever had. My toe nails were cut too short and she left nail polish all over my toes. When I pointed it out to her she used the side of her nail to clean off one toe, but was completely oblivious to the rest of my painted toes. I don't like to be one of those people who fight with the nail technicians so I let it go. There was no leg massage or lotion put on my feet after the pedi. There was nothing put into the water, just hot water. Then the mani...my nails are all uneven lengths and the nail file she used was waaaaaay too rough for finger nails. I have 2 cuts on my fingers from her removing the cuticles. The nail technician was a really friendly girl, I just don't think she knows what she's doing. I will not be going back. read more

This place is awful, talk about everything that would make you never want to go back to a nail salon. The employees are rude, and when you ask for something like (long nails) they rudely tell you how much extra it is or say they wont do it at all. For example, I wear my nails longer than most, and have done so for the last two years. On my last (and final) fill with the salon i asked if she could fill them a little thicker on the top because they are long and then they wont break as easily. She rudely told me "No, we don't touch the ends because then its like a full set." Yes, i understand that and would gladly have paid a little more to prevent breakage but she didn't even give me that option. I'm not even a week into my new set and I've had 4 crack and 2 break. I will gladly drive all the way into Spokane to get a nicer set of nails and have a more pleasant experience. read more
