Worst online experience since the start of the pandemic. Following an online order which was not fulfilled, they did not answer customer service phone numbers, did not reply to emails sent to customer service email addresses, and never sent any status emails regarding the order. I ordered two outdoor wall lamps which were shown on the website to be in stock and shippable the next day. I received a confirmation email of the order which advised that upon shipment, I would receive an email with tracking info. One week later, without having received anything, I attempted to contact the company. Lee Lighting is associated with Progressivelighting.com and Savoyhouse.com. All three have the following address and customer service contact info: 3130 N Berkeley Lake Rd NW, Duluth, GA, 30096, 1-(866) 688-3562, 1-855-408-1876, and customerservice@progressivelighting.com. Great service -- if you're just trying to hand over your money. After that? Good luck. Follow-up is practically nonexistent. I was told my item was on backorder, but after checking with the manufacturer directly, that turned out to be false. Either they're misinformed or just making excuses. Needed a special ceiling fan that would match others in the house when the one in the great room went out. It's an unusual fan but I'm one short phone call I located it, purchased it and they came to install it immediately. Great customer service and excellent inventory! Our builder recommended Lee Lighting to us as our home is more traditional and Lee lighting had a wider selection of traditional fixtures. Meredith waited on us and was extremely patient, kind and helpful while we worked through the overwhelming process of making selections. It actually took us 3 or 4 appointments with Meredith to get everything finalized due to the number of fixtures in our home. One thing we truly appreciated was the transparency and the offer to price match if we found the same fixtures elsewhere for less which Lee honored 100%. The fixtures exceeded our expectations and are beautiful. Our dining room fixture didn't come with a long downrod which meant the fixture stayed closed to the ceiling and not above our table as we hoped. We let Meredith know and she had the fixture re-ordered with the correct downrod. Meredith was always quick to respond to any/all emails and questions we had which was greatly appreciated. We have been in Lee's Lighting 3 times over the past few months and our experience has been terrible. The lady at the front is unfriendly and could care less to say hello or greet you.. Even as I was walking out of the store I would say thank you and she wouldn't even look up. The sales consultant, Debra, lacks professionalism as she was supposed to send us a proposal 1 week after our meeting, and it has now been 4 weeks without a word. We followed up with the store, they took our info a week ago, and we still have not heard anything. She also had a very passive, didn't care attitude when she was working with us the two times we came in so we have no desire to carry on.. We have a huge project that requires plenty of lights that we are now taking elsewhere. We like having Lee's close by to look at styles of lights and colors, which is what we will now use them for. A resource to see lights in person that will then get sourced from another company that has treated us well. read more

I recently purchased $2200 worth of light fixtures for our home remodel and had an excellent experience. My wife and I looked for two months and were becoming frustrated with the lack of options until we found Lee's Lighting. They have a great selection of lighting in all kinds of styles, sizes and price points and we found everything we needed to furnish our home. We found their staff to be friendly and helpful. Our sales representative Meredith was outstanding and I highly recommend you ask for her when you visit. One of our fixtures came in defective from the factory in a sealed box (not Lee's fault) and Meredith quickly responded to my inquiries about the replacement product, ordered me up a new fixture and kept me informed of the new delivery date. Any retailer can be your friend when things are going well. The true measure of customer service is how they respond when problems occur. Do they take ownership, react quickly, replace the bad product and keep in contact? In the case of Lee's and Meredith they are 5+ stars and I highly recommend them for you lighting needs. read more

My husband and I came in on a Wednesday afternoon (around 3PM) and were super disappointed with the service. There were 3 people sitting at the desk to the left and they did the bare minimum to greet us. We walked around the store and had a few pieces in mind that we were interested in. We ran across at least 2-3 employees who didn't say hello, acknowledge us, or even smile back. We did a lap around the store again and everyone just continued to sit at their desk and ignore the fact that customers were even in the store. I worked with Meredith Mitchell to design the lighting in my new home. She was extremely wonderful and knowledgeable and very on trend with my design ideas! I was terrified of my initial appointment but she was soooo easy to work with and made the selection process enjoyable. And when I returned 2 months later to change all of my selections (bc I had changed my color schemes) she was so patient and worked we me from the beginning, again. We stopped by here on the recommendation of a friend who has lived in Frisco for a long time. I was so glad we did! I have a young grandson who is a super-fan of ceiling fans. Apparently their fan selection is EXCELLENT according to him. He would know. He has memorized hundreds of models and knows the year and manufacturer. The young gentleman working at the rear counter was really wonderful; he answered my little guy's questions and was so kind. We really appreciate that he took time out to encourage a budding technician. Also the receptionist helped us out, we were so thankful. My grandson has autism, so it isn't always easy to take him places and ask questions; he doesn't always understand what people's responses mean. When I buy fans for my next house, it will be here! Very Frustrating!!! We have been coming to Lee Lighting for almost 2 months, trying to select lighting for our new home. The builder we are using works with Lee Lighting in their homes. We were told that we needed to work with Meredith Mitchell. This process is difficult since we work Monday - Friday with Saturday being the only day to select lights. After going into the store several Saturdays in a row and Meredith was off. I asked the receptionist if someone else could help, she said no, Meredith handles that account exclusively. She told me to email Meredith, and she said Meredith doesn't usually work on Saturdays. I find it troubling that a large company doesn't have anyone available to help new homeowners with their lighting on Saturdays. read more

Have purchased many things throughout the years from this store. However, during my recent visits, I find their customer service severely lacking and the items are meh. No one offers to help and when asking for advice from the sales help behind their front desk, they completely ignored us. The ladies are more interested in talking to each other than the customer. Made a purchase and there was no offer to even load into our car. We pretty much felt invisible there. They didn't care about my business and I guess I don't care about theirs anymore. I recently purchased a few fixtures here, and while the pricing was great, and our selections we love, I feel like we were lead on a goose chase by our salesman to get them. Almost two weeks after we were supposed to have them, we still didn't. He said he would ship them to us and confirm when they went out, but we were never followed up with. I would have given this 1 star had it not been for another sales associate, Clair, who did not just tell me, "we can't help you, you have to speak to your salesperson" as others had. She resolved my issue quickly and kindly, got the fixtures to us, and even followed up after with an apology on her coworkers behalf. 3/5 for poor customer service from the staff, but thank you Clair! We just moved to the area and were looking for lighting and fans for our new build. We were hesitant about this place because of the reviews. We went with an open mind and had a pleasant experience. Becky Oliver helped us and was fantastic. She listened to what we had in mind and showed us several choices. She was non pressuring and very helpful. We found what we were looking for and made a purchase, with more to come. Lee lighting has a huge selection for any home, and fairly reasonable prices. The store itself looks old and certainly the cashier system is ancient. For a lighting store, I expected more than that. They hand type everything and it's time consuming. One associate stands out. Debra was super friendly, very knowledgeable and dressed professionally. The other could take a lesson from her and dress a little more tasteful and professional. Meredith and the staff at Lee Lighting are the best!! It took several months to decide on lighting for my entire home and Meredith made the experience sooo pleasant. She was extremely knowledge about products, sizing, brands and was really in tune with my design aesthetic enough to guide me in my final selections. She spent hours providing me with books and lighting choices outside of what is in stock in the store. She always responded timely to all of my emails and pricing requests. I came into this store on Saturday, being new to the area, this was my first visit. I wasn't sure if the store was open o everyone or just by appointment. There is a receptionist I guess, she was on her phone and never looked up. There is a counter to the left, with a man and lady, it looked like they both had customers in front of them, but they did welcome and greet me. This is a very nice lighting showroom, but the first impression with the receptionist being on her phone was not a good one. I am in customer service and notice it when i see it. I was approached by a nice male sales person offering assistance, but wasn't in need of help at the time. I was turned off after being ignored by the receptionist. read more

Good thing is sales reps don't care and will print out any item your looking at so you can just go home and buy online. Nice selection of lighting, but disappointed that necessities aren't included. Bought a light kit for a ceiling fan- no screws included for the glass and no pull cord. Also, our order wasn't placed correctly. Needed 4 glasses- only one ordered. We ended up buying the glass elsewhere. Received only part of our order even though the person who took the order said everything was available in the Irving warehouse and would arrive in 3 days (why does it take 3 days to get something from Irving to Frisco anyway??) We now have one bathroom sconce and are waiting for the other. Seems very disorganized and piecemeal to me. Really a shame because the lighting is nice. read more

From day one the WORST customer service I have seen. I don't think they care much about clients walking in as they do a lot of new home builders business and have the POOR clients trapped. I ordered fans in March and they were promised iin May. The sales person Melissa called my wife to say they were not coming in they may be in June sometime nothing I can do about it. So I called and asked for the manager Sherry, I had to leave a message which Mellissa the sales rep called my wife back and asked why she would have her husband call and complain about the situation. So I called back to ask for manager about a week later with no call back and again I called and got a call back with sorry the sales rep told me everything was ok. No help with the manager called corporate office no return call after 3 messages. They direct shipped fans to my home on June 7th and told me I could not return them if they shipped them to me? If I don't like the fans or they are damaged why would I not be able to return? Because we are shipping them to you to try and make you happy so you can not return them. Needless to say If I were YOU I would not every get anywhere close to this company. It seems like everyone from GM in Georgia who I left 2 messages to local people they don't care about anyone Buyer beware. Never again client read more

I went into Lee Lighting in Frisco in March to order fans. They were backordered until the May 8th delviery date. We ordered paid $1000+ for the fans and waited. We called in May and were told no fans you must wait for another 30+ days. So I called asked for manager and she was out got VM. Manager had sales girl Melissa L call back and say to my wife, your husband called and said he was upset, I told you I can not do anything about it what did he call for???? So I called back and the manager never called me back. I got a call from the sales person Melissa. After waiting until June 10th Melissa called and said are at corporate office and we can ship to you but if we do you can not return them because we are giving you good customer service by shipping and it cost money so you cant return them and wanted me to sign something that said we could not return them. I refused they shipped anyway. Forgot to mention I called the corporate office in Geogia and found who the General manager of sales was and left a message with his assistant with a guarantee hw will call you tomorrow. No return call, so I called again no return call. I see where the manager of the store gets her training. Fans work great CUSTOMER SERVICE is the WORST I have recieved in 30+ years of Adult life. read more
