All Pro had a great reference from a neighbor and underbid all the other services. They had proof of insurance and scheduled us far in advance, keeping to their word even the day after a snowstorm. The 80 foot tree was wedged narrowly in between my neighbor's house and my garage. These professionals tackled it like surgeons in a way that made it look safe and easy. I even manage to do a bunch of conference calls in the house during the job. It wasn't as disruptive as I thought it would be. It turned out that they needed a crane to do the job but even so they kept to the original rate. I recommend them 100% on fairness and professionalism.

The tree was quickly removed but it was a 3 star maybe 3.5 star experience because of the additional work needed to coordinate everything. The good: - competitive quote and they were able to come by quickly to assess the work - flexible in bringing equipment that worked with tight openings - main tree removal was done in 5 hours - removed paver stones so they wouldn't be damaged by machinery - friendly and professional. They accommodated a special request to cut a section for a table The bad: - rescheduling was a huge pain. We had to go back and forth for 3 weeks and I had to proactively follow up to confirm if they were coming - unable to grind the stump as part of the initial quote so had to pay another $400 for them to come back with a different machine - never got an invoice despite asking for one multiple times To summarize, this seems to be a nice family business that has experience removing trees quickly. However, it doesn't appear there is a back office that keeps everything organized so you're going to have to do a lot of work to stay on top of things.

Hiring Tree Sons was a great decision. Their large crane and skills allowed them to access and remove trees from around our one acre property without damaging the lawn or other landscaping. Our home is surrounded by very mature trees- many spruce, ash, oak, and maple. The ash have been dead for a while and this year, a giant Norway spruce thinned out and began to worry us. Enter Tree Sons Tree Service- they came out to do an estimate and then when we realized there were a few more trees we'd want removed, they came back out and we were assured that they would take care of all the dead ash in that section. Their knowledge of trees and how far one could reach if it fell was really helpful in deciding which trees should stay or go. They are able to pick dead trees out from in between others that are still alive! It's amazing! And, their quote was less than the others we got- the equipment is expensive so of course the work is as well. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and had to miss the fun of the crane dangling trees over our house, but when I came home, the trees were gone, and my yard had been cleaned up! All in a day's work! My experience with this company wasn't fantastic. They did a residential job for me in May, but…read morefailed to complete the work. It took another 6 months for them to finalize the job. Over that 6 months I received 8 calls from the office staff asking for final payment (very 1900's, they seem allergic to text or email). In each case I would tell them that I was waiting for them to finish the job and would send them photos detailing the remaining work. Then I wouldn't hear from them for weeks, until they called yet again to ask for payment, always surprised that the job hadn't been completed, and again asking for more photos. So all-in-all it wasn't a positive experience. I would say that the guys who did the actual tree work were very easy to work with, I found them to be both professional and friendly! The office staff wasn't easy to deal with; their sole focus seemed to be on pestering me for final payment with little interest in actually completing the job. Were I only reviewing the guys who do the actual tree work, I'd give them 5 stars.
