I'm beside myself with what this company did to my yard. They were supposed to "trim" some bushes and trees in my front yard. I came home, and both trees had been completely chopped down, and I had NO foliage left. It was a complete hack job. I don't know what their definition of the word "trim" is, but that's definitely not what they did. Not only that, but they came 2wks ahead of when they were scheduled, so no one was even here to verify the work they were doing. I will never hire these people again! $350 for what was probably an hour's worth of work with a chainsaw?! My front yard looks AWFUL. Then after I posted a review. They responded by first calling me and my husband stupid. Then threatening to dump everything back in our yard. And then posting our address on a public forum. Great way to do business. read more

Back in September of 2023, I hired them to cut down some trees at my property as well as trim down 3 trees. Was very satisfied with the tree removal work and despite them telling me they would come back a few weeks later to trim the trees, I gave them glowing reviews and paid them in full. We spoke with our neighbor about the company that they had used a couple of years ago who did an awesome job and clean up afterwords, and of course read their reviews. My husband and I just cannot understand any negative reviews about Hailey Tree service. We decided to ignore the reviews and have them come out and trim our trees. They did an awesome job, cleaned up all the dead branches on the surrounding trees, and left our back yard 10 times better than we had expected. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about how much we appreciate the great job that Mike and James did. We will definitely use them again if needed and will definitely recommend them to anyone in the surrounding towns of Hudson, MA. We are extremely happy with Hailey Tree. Awful Service! Highly recommend you seek an alternative company! Sorry for a long one but this is important for all potential customers as well as the business. After a positive interaction and first service, I asked Hailey for a quote on some additional work on my property and a quote was provided. I scaled back the scope of the work to (as noted on estimate) "prune maple at front" and "Trim row of evergreens along driveway". I let them know that I'd like to move forward those on May 19th and requested that they let me now availability to do the work. No new quote was provided for the adjusted scope mind you. Some of the work I had already scaled back was due to gardens growing in fast. I received no response to my request about availability and 2 months later (after getting new quotes for the work with other companies) I receive a call from Hailey Tree telling me that the job was done and payment was due same day, yet no invoice was provided. I was not home that day and the following day I was able to look at the work performed in the light (please see images and video). For starters, if you expect to receive payment the day of service you need to properly communicate when you're performing the work. Voicemail left for Hailey tree the next day and we were able to catch up the next monday. (4 days later). I had a polite conversation with them and let them know I appreciated the work, wanted to get them payment, but was disappointed about the communications, and had some concerns about the outcome of work performed. Conversation ended with a plan to send them a check for the the maple pruning and that they would reach out to coordinate a time to review the concerns regarding the other work to find a resolution, this was at 1:30pm. With regards to the street curb being very damaged, I was told "thats a town issue and I should call them" but acknowledged that they parked on it and caused it, they even attempted to fix it but decided to just leave it. At about 4:30pm I received a phone call from my partner who was at home and extremely shaken, scared, and angry. One of the owners from Hailey Tree had just shown up at our property unannounced, proceeded to go around to the back of our house and with my partner in the back yard (she works remotely), he immediately began to Berate her, demanding she write a check on the spot and threaten to bring all the material back on site and dump it and "you can call the police, they won't do anything" and cause her to cry and feel scared in the privacy our of own property. Shame on you Hailey Tree, this is utterly unprofessional, unacceptable, and uncalled for. My partner had absolutely nothing to do with the service. So much for the plan that was set in action from the phone discussion earlier in the day. It's quite clear that Mike is risk to clients and I had tell them they are not allowed to come on my property going forward. My suggestion to any one seeking tree service is to steer very clear of Hailey Tree. Incredibly unprofessional showing a clear disregard for taking customer service seriously or showing respect to the clients whom have hired them as they do not take any precaution to protect the property or perform their work in a way that supports the plants they work on. Look at the fine print, they even say that they aren't responsible for any damage they cause whatsoever. Wow! You can see from the images that rather than cleanly cut small branches back they just ran through with a chain saw marring the branches and tree's themselves with utter disregard, something I wouldn't expect from a company that advertises on the website "you'll get quality service along with professional tree care". Absolutely not the case and truly awful service all around. I'd pay 3x what I did to someone who showed more professionalism than they can offer. I hope for their sake, they can improve and again I highly suggest you seek alternative arraignments for tree service and avoid Hailey Tree at all costs. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Showed up to do the tree work when no one was home and botched up our yard. This guy shows up to jobs high DO NOT HIRE. Overall they're extremely rude and inconsiderate. Someone using drugs should not be dealing with machinery, especially on other peoples property. read more

worst company I've ever worked with. rude and inconsiderate, did not complete job promptly and left the logs for several days ruining my yard. when they came to remove the stumps at 7 pm they asked for the check 10 min into doing the job.
