    JOB NOT FINISHED

DISHONEST, ZERO CREDIBILITY, LIKES TO TAKE ADVATANGE OF ELDERS On May 2, 2025, the contractor provided a quote of $3,000 for removing fallen trees and stumps. He showed up for one day of work, during which his machine broke down, and he completed only about 25% of the removal job(have not started on stump grinding yet). He then pressured my elderly parents, who are both in their eighties and suffer from Alzheimer's, into paying him $2,000. They are not in a condition to handle high-pressure situations, and I was not present at the time. Given that $2,000 significantly exceeded the value of the work completed, the contractor happily chose not to return and instead began making a series of excuses. At one point, he offered to refund $1,000, but when I tried to collect the refund, he changed his story again saying he will come back to finish but stopped responding to me. It appears he does not keep his words, lie consistently, and is willing to take advantage of vulnerable people whenever the opportunity arises.

Very quick turn around and a competitive price. Cleaned up everything from a large fallen tree and overall it was a great experience.

We have done a lot of work to get the grounds to where they are now, from expanding my irrigation system, construction of fire pits and patio work, to completely transforming two neglected fields into a beautiful lush lawn. Literally ripping up fields and new lawn install from scratch - a ton of work. Nothing beats pulling into my driveway and seeing my lawn looking like a golf course. They even cut perfect lines with the weekly mowes. I receive a lot of compliments on it. His prices are very reasonable and it's nice having a "one stop shop" that can handle literally any outside project that comes to mind. HIGHLY recommend!

Shawn McCarthy came out once but over the past 2.5 months he's promised quotes and calls back whenever I reach out every week, but he's yet to follow through on anything. I also found Concord messed up when our HOA had them do work around my unit and they threw out a couple hundred dollars of my patio stones and when I tried to follow up about getting reimbursed again it was total silence.

After the initial meetings, we received a preliminary conceptual rendering and budget estimate. Unfortunately, we felt the design did not adequately address several key elements of the project--particularly the hardscape and deck redesign, which remained largely undefined--and did not reflect the level of development we expected from the design process outlined in the contract. We therefore decided not to proceed further. What was most disappointing was not simply that the design failed to meet our expectations, but that after I wrote a detailed and respectful letter to the company's CEO explaining our concerns about the value received for the design fee, I never received any response. Everyone we interacted with was courteous and professional, and I appreciate the time invested by the design team. However, based on our experience, prospective clients should clearly understand that the design retainer is non-refundable and may represent the full cost of a preliminary concept if they decide not to continue with the project.

They began my project in May of this year and promised to complete the work by June 20th. However, they didn't finish the pool until the end of August. I also paid for a customized cover for the pool, but the owner kept giving me different excuses and repeatedly told me, "next week," just like he did about the pool. I also paid for in-ground outlets, which he insisted would be done at the end of the job, but he later claimed that the electrician couldn't do it because the inspection had already been completed. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The owner will say one thing today and deny it later. Please be cautious if you consider hiring them.

Our yard is probably one of the most challenging yards you could imagine, set on a steep slope with a septic mound taking up the majority of the backyard which makes it difficult to do much with the space. We had recently purchased a new construction property and the seller (Justin Smith, The Homescout, LLC) bailed on the outdoor work before it was completed leaving us with a poorly built, unpermitted retaining wall and considerable grading and drainage issues. Littleton Earthworks came to the rescue and helped us mitigate many of the issues with creativity and thoughtfulness that we didn't see from the any of the other companies we spoke with. Dan from Earthworks proposed some great solutions and seemed to enjoy thinking through how to solve the problems at hand. The end result was so much better than we could have imagined and the regrading gave us a significant addition of usable space in the backyard. And, when we had a tropical storm come through the day after work was completed Dan came back with his crew to reseed and install an erosion control blanket for a nominal price, really going above and beyond. Everyone on the Earthworks team was great to work with and super nice, we couldn't have been happier with the service and the results. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan and his wonderful team!
