In fact, as they moved the lift to my back yard on a narrow path, one of the crew was so kind as to lift a few hosta leaves which overlapped the walk so they would not be crushed. In addition to their exceptional heavy work, one man took the time to protect my hosta. We had two large trees that needed to be removed safely. One was a huge pine behind our barn. Ed came out promptly for an estimate and quoted a decent price. The team showed at an agreed on time with the heavy equipment and took the trees down in a safe and organized way, chipped the brush and then hauled the big stuff away. All at our quoted price. He came unannounced for the estimate that was supposed to happen another day that should of been my 1st red flag and when we did agree to have work done he canceled the 1st appointment 1hr before we agreed and no call/showed the 2nd appointment. He's a waste of time, unreliable. read more

Ed and his guys have now tended to three massive trees on our property and I can't say enough about their professionalism, knowledge, and respectfulness. The guys that have come here showed due diligence in dropping the limbs expertly and carefully which is no small task from 60 -100 feet. They are just horrible and dishonest. They do a very poor job on trees and stumps, do not do the job offered, clean up fully nor do they follow up when contacted for an issue. They then get upset when you question the payment they quoted. DO NOT USE!! read more

Had a half dozen limbs hanging over the house to take down. Ed responded quickly to my email with a visit and a very reasonable quote. The crew arrived right on time the next day. The work needed to be done with a climber with a chainsaw and ropes to lower the cut pieces. Climber Josh knew his stuff, worked efficiently and carefully. I hired Edward to remove 5 trees from my property. I paid him half, with his promise to do the work quickly. I had to wait over 1 month for the trees to be cut down. Then he begged for money before finishing the job. Unfortunately I paid him the full amount because he promised to finish it. We are now 2 months later and I am still waiting: he did not do any cleaning and left me with big chunks of wood that are half buried in my lawn. Now he does not even pick or return my phone calls. I have saved multiple voicemails full of (unkept) promises. I would not recommend him, or at least do not pay him until the job is really finished. read more

I can not speak high enough of Ed and his crew! We had 8 Spruce trees that were 80-100 feet high along the side of our driveway and a few more trees in our back yard that we wanted taken down. Initially, we had contacted another tree company out of Hudson to do this work. On the day that company was to start the work they had tried to pull a bait and switch and would not honor their price quote and wanted more money to do the job. This left us to start back at square one. I had contacted Ed on a Saturday morning. He promptly returned my call and came out later that afternoon to scope out the job. Ed was professional, and friendly while speaking to my wife and I. He gave us a VERY reasonable quote of 3600.00 for the work to be done (tree felling, removal and stump grinding) and was able to come out and start that Tuesday. We hired Ed on the spot! The crews arrived on Tuesday morning and promptly began working. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency they worked and the safe manner in which they conducted themselves. Each night they cleaned up the jobsite including blowing and sweeping up all the sawdust. It was a 2 man crew that came to do the work and they were both great guys! Very friendly and conversational. Ed had told us that Saturday he did not require payment until the job was complete. Ed also stated he would follow up with us to be sure we were happy with the work or he would correct any issues if we had any. Ed held to his word on both and we had no issues with the work that was done. Ed stood by his work, his word and his quote.
