We have had several trees on our property that, unfortunately, have died and have been in need of removal. Tree removal is not a fun way to spend money, and we had been procrastinating having this service performed. But, after having Ed, Eddie, and Jack from Tree Sons thoroughly explain how the work would be conducted at what seemed to be a fair, reasonable price, we decided to move forward with the work. Hiring Tree Sons was a great decision. Their large crane and skills allowed them to access and remove trees from around our one acre property without damaging the lawn or other landscaping. To me, it seemed like a huge task, and I was impressed with how quickly they downed the trees, chipped the branches, and stacked the logs for removal. I hope our remaining trees will thrive, but if you need tree removal, I highly recommend giving Tree Sons a call. read more

Tree Sons Tree Service - No tree is seemingly too large for Tree Sons' crane, which is able to access difficult to reach areas. - Tree Services Near Me

"Buy a house with mature landscaping," my husband suggested. Twenty years later, much of that mature landscaping was dead. Our home is surrounded by very mature trees- many spruce, ash, oak, and maple. The ash have been dead for a while and this year, a giant Norway spruce thinned out and began to worry us. Enter Tree Sons Tree Service- they came out to do an estimate and then when we realized there were a few more trees we'd want removed, they came back out and we were assured that they would take care of all the dead ash in that section. Their knowledge of trees and how far one could reach if it fell was really helpful in deciding which trees should stay or go. They are able to pick dead trees out from in between others that are still alive! It's amazing! And, their quote was less than the others we got- the equipment is expensive so of course the work is as well. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and had to miss the fun of the crane dangling trees over our house, but when I came home, the trees were gone, and my yard had been cleaned up! All in a day's work! Note: they didn't grind stumps but they disclosed that and I was not expecting that to be done. I would absolutely recommend Tree Sons if you are looking for pruning or tree removal. Honest humans who do their own work without subcontract, and the kindest family to be in business with! read more

I recently had Tree Sons Tree Service trim some dead and overextending branches from my large Oak and Maple trees. I was very pleased with the outcome of their work. The crew and job manager were very considerate and respectful of my satisfaction. They worked efficiently and paid close attention to details. In fact, as they moved the lift to my back yard on a narrow path, one of the crew was so kind as to lift a few hosta leaves which overlapped the walk so they would not be crushed. In addition to their exceptional heavy work, one man took the time to protect my hosta. It is the little acts of kindness and attentiveness that get noticed, as well as the thoughtfulness behind that gesture that left an imprint on my mind. They showed that they cared and respected my property. I highly recommend Tree Sons Tree Service to anyone who requires Tree work. I will use them when I need them again. My property was left immaculate. I rate them 5 stars for their expertise and professionalism. read more

Ed and his crew were excellent to work with, from the day the requested work was reviewed and quoted, through the tree removal and clean up. I had 4 very large oaks removed, as well as a large five-trunk maple. All of the trees were near the house or power lines and needed to be lifted by crane. The crew were skilled, polite and efficient. I'd recommend Tree Sons. read more

Ed came and gave me a very reasonable quote on having five trees removed and limbs pruned on the roof. I didn't want to kill trees that could be saved and his expert advice was just what I needed. They did all the work we agreed upon and cleaned up nicely after the job. If you are looking for a tree service that is prompt, efficient, professional at a very reasonable price, choose Tree Sons - you won't be disappointed! I highly recommend Tree Sons. read more

We had two large trees that needed to be removed safely. One was a huge pine behind our barn. Ed came out promptly for an estimate and quoted a decent price. The team showed at an agreed on time with the heavy equipment and took the trees down in a safe and organized way, chipped the brush and then hauled the big stuff away. All at our quoted price. The guys were friendly especially toward our grandsons who enjoyed watching from the window. We are very pleased with their work and will keep their phone number on file for future reference. We highly recommend Tree Sons. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Tree Sons! Ed is great! His whole team are all super skilled at what they do too! I had 9 trees taken down, some really huge pines in pretty tricky spots, and my neighbors had some trees down too. They worked so hard, did a fantastic job, and all for a really reasonable price. I'm really happy with the work they did and with my experience with them! read more

He came unannounced for the estimate that was supposed to happen another day that should of been my 1st red flag and when we did agree to have work done he canceled the 1st appointment 1hr before we agreed and no call/showed the 2nd appointment. He's a waste of time, unreliable. read more

Second time using Ed / Tree Sons Tree Service, and both times have been so impressed by their expertise. It is amazing to watch these guys at work, they are an excellent and hard working crew. The first time we used Tree Sons we had about 13 trees removed, some extremely tall pines quite close to the house, many other large trees as well. Today, we had another 5 large trees removed. They were fast but careful, and so nicely cleaned up the yard when they were finished. I HIGHLY recommend Ed and his company, Tree Sons Tree Service. read more

They are just horrible and dishonest. They do a very poor job on trees and stumps, do not do the job offered, clean up fully nor do they follow up when contacted for an issue. They then get upset when you question the payment they quoted. DO NOT USE!! read more

Ed and his guys have now tended to three massive trees on our property and I can't say enough about their professionalism, knowledge, and respectfulness. The guys that have come here showed due diligence in dropping the limbs expertly and carefully which is no small task from 60 -100 feet. My property is tough with fencing, gates, outbuildings, and outdoor animals, Ed and his guys have always come through. Highest recommendation. read more

Had a half dozen limbs hanging over the house to take down. Ed responded quickly to my email with a visit and a very reasonable quote. The crew arrived right on time the next day. The work needed to be done with a climber with a chainsaw and ropes to lower the cut pieces. Climber Josh knew his stuff, worked efficiently and carefully. We are very happy with the result and will definitely use them again for tree service. read more

I hired Edward to remove 5 trees from my property. I paid him half, with his promise to do the work quickly. I had to wait over 1 month for the trees to be cut down. Then he begged for money before finishing the job. Unfortunately I paid him the full amount because he promised to finish it. We are now 2 months later and I am still waiting: he did not do any cleaning and left me with big chunks of wood that are half buried in my lawn. Now he does not even pick or return my phone calls. I have saved multiple voicemails full of (unkept) promises. I would not recommend him, or at least do not pay him until the job is really finished. read more

I can not speak high enough of Ed and his crew! We had 8 Spruce trees that were 80-100 feet high along the side of our driveway and a few more trees in our back yard that we wanted taken down. Initially, we had contacted another tree company out of Hudson to do this work. On the day that company was to start the work they had tried to pull a bait and switch and would not honor their price quote and wanted more money to do the job. This left us to start back at square one. I had contacted Ed on a Saturday morning. He promptly returned my call and came out later that afternoon to scope out the job. Ed was professional, and friendly while speaking to my wife and I. He gave us a VERY reasonable quote of 3600.00 for the work to be done (tree felling, removal and stump grinding) and was able to come out and start that Tuesday. We hired Ed on the spot! The crews arrived on Tuesday morning and promptly began working. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency they worked and the safe manner in which they conducted themselves. Each night they cleaned up the jobsite including blowing and sweeping up all the sawdust. It was a 2 man crew that came to do the work and they were both great guys! Very friendly and conversational. Ed had told us that Saturday he did not require payment until the job was complete. Ed also stated he would follow up with us to be sure we were happy with the work or he would correct any issues if we had any. Ed held to his word on both and we had no issues with the work that was done. Ed stood by his work, his word and his quote. I would highly recommend Tree Sons Tree Service for anyone needing any type of tree work. read more
