The team was even able to professionally work around a stoned renter in an apartment building who wanted to tie herself to the tree which was destroying her building's foundation. As an added bonus, the guys were cheaper than the first quote we got. We also used Palmer to prune a crab apple tree. They did a great job on that too.

This was in a heavily wooded area, so it was not easy work -- these trees had to be taken down carefully from the top down, with real skill and judgment. Because this is protected land, care and expertise mattered a lot to us, and Palmer's crew absolutely delivered. They were professional, hardworking, courteous, and clearly experts at what they were doing. We were genuinely impressed with the quality of the work and the respect they showed for the property. Excellent crew, excellent job, and we give them the highest possible recommendation.

Recently I hired Amazon Tree Services to take down my maple tree, grind the stump and remove all…read morethe wood chips. The owner arrived on time, was polite and personable, and explained what would be done. I have had similar tree work completed a number of times over the years, but never had such an amazing experience for all 3 tasks. First of all, the price for everything was lower compared to other companies. The men who removed the tree were respectful, very skilled, extremely careful, and thorough in prepping my neighbor's driveway in addition to when they lifted the branches and trunk over the roof of my house and into the grinding machine and/or truck. A while later, a man returned with the stump grinding machine. He worked slowly and precisely to fit the machine through my gate with only a few inches of room on each side. I was thrilled with his cautious manner. And he spent a long time going over the stump until it was completely ground up. He told me that he tried to follow the roots so he could get everything and he did succeed. The next day two workers came to remove the wood chips so the area would be ready to receive the loam and seed/fertilizer. They filled a large plastic trash barrel over 10 times, lifted it onto their shoulders, and dumped them into their truck. When they were done, one man asked if it was satisfactory. I was thrilled because there was not one speck of wood chips left on the ground. I would highly recommend Amazon Tree Services for your next job. The work ethic is excellent, they do a commendable job, and the price is very reasonable and better than other companies.

I needed a large maple tree removed from my backyard and our tight gate opening didn't allow for…read morelarger machinery. Went with Lopez Landscaping since they had the smaller equipment and manpower to get the job done. The tree was quickly removed but it was a 3 star maybe 3.5 star experience because of the additional work needed to coordinate everything. The good: - competitive quote and they were able to come by quickly to assess the work - flexible in bringing equipment that worked with tight openings - main tree removal was done in 5 hours - removed paver stones so they wouldn't be damaged by machinery - friendly and professional. They accommodated a special request to cut a section for a table The bad: - rescheduling was a huge pain. We had to go back and forth for 3 weeks and I had to proactively follow up to confirm if they were coming - unable to grind the stump as part of the initial quote so had to pay another $400 for them to come back with a different machine - never got an invoice despite asking for one multiple times To summarize, this seems to be a nice family business that has experience removing trees quickly. However, it doesn't appear there is a back office that keeps everything organized so you're going to have to do a lot of work to stay on top of things.

My experience with this company wasn't fantastic. They did a residential job for me in May, but…read morefailed to complete the work. It took another 6 months for them to finalize the job. Over that 6 months I received 8 calls from the office staff asking for final payment (very 1900's, they seem allergic to text or email). In each case I would tell them that I was waiting for them to finish the job and would send them photos detailing the remaining work. Then I wouldn't hear from them for weeks, until they called yet again to ask for payment, always surprised that the job hadn't been completed, and again asking for more photos. So all-in-all it wasn't a positive experience. I would say that the guys who did the actual tree work were very easy to work with, I found them to be both professional and friendly! The office staff wasn't easy to deal with; their sole focus seemed to be on pestering me for final payment with little interest in actually completing the job. Were I only reviewing the guys who do the actual tree work, I'd give them 5 stars.
