We needed a tree removed that was leaning over our garage and also a large tree stump, Zack returned my call same day I sent a message. We arranged a time to give us an estimate. Zack was on time and we accepted his very fair price. The day came to remove the tree and we added a small job of topping off a tree that was interfering with our power lines. Even though this was not in the original quote Zack gave, he removed the high branches and only charged a nominal fee for the added work. We are very happy with what he did and the yard was clear of debris. Next day he came by to grind the stumps. We will be calling Zack in the future for any other work we need done. I highly recommend Sciuto Tree and Zack was a pleasure to do business with. After a bad storm last year, a huge part of a tree (basically half the tree) fell down. Zack came out quickly to do an initial quote which was competitive. He explained what he thought we should do with the remaining half of the damaged tree and we also asked him to look at 2 other trees (one that had been partially damaged in the storm and another that had started to die/rot). He explained things clearly, seemed knowledgeable, and was honest in his assessment (he actually suggested keeping one of the trees since it only lost a few branches and was healthy) We were able to quickly schedule Zack and his team to remove the big piece of the tree that fell down, as well as the other half of the tree it fell from (it was damaged beyond keeping), as well as removing another large tree that was dying and starting to rot. This was a big job (to me anyway) and Zack and his team were great, it was amazing seeing how they could safely remove these big trees so quickly. I think in all it took their team 2 days to take them down, mulch and/or remove the bigger pieces of wood. I was super happy with their speed and professionalism. We have a very tall, old maple that needed some obvious pruning. I checked Yelp and saw all the Great reviews and asked Zach at Sciuto Tree to take a look. He came by almost same day and walked through what he thought we needed. We scheduled the work, and they came and did a terrific job. Additionally, they identified a larger problem we are working on; and they took away a pile of branches that had been piling up for us. Lastly, they cleaned up all the wood chips completely. Zach Sciuto viewed trees, listened, and gave advice on how to accomplish my goals. At a price much lower than competitors, he and his team expertly pruned 3 trees: 2 for safety; 1 for safety, roof clearance, and appearance. The guys didn't wear masks to protect against covid-19, but they stayed outside, and maintained 6-feet distance. If you keep some wood chips, e.g. for shrub beds, be sure to coordinate with Zach on the amount or for pickup of leftovers. Garbage men told me that yard-waste bags half full of wood chips are way too heavy. A quarter full is probably better. read more

He was meticulous with the clean up and neatly stacked all the left over wood that I wanted to keep. Really went above and beyond. Sciuto Tree provided excellent service. We have three mature oak trees in our backyard that needed dead wood removed and a multi-trunk hemlock that needed one trunk removed and the remaining two be tied. We received proposals from three companies. Sciuto Tree's proposal was the most detailed. It included a Google map satellite view identifying each tree within the neighborhood canopy and an itemized list of what needed to be done to each tree. Their approach was a low impact, noninvasive and included no heavy equipment or machinery. They arrived on time, worked quietly and did not damage a single tree, shrub or plant in our yard. So, why can;'t I give them 6 stars? I would like to do that because from start to finish the service and though put in by Zack and his team was outstanding. When I met Zack and he came to my yard and we spoke about tree removal and pruning I could tell he was thinking--this wasn't wrote and his answers were crisp and assuring, He is growing his business and I wanted to really help.... then his team came and they did what they promised, and more! I really like all the guys who came with Zack and each was a professional and they operated as a unit. The cuts and handling of each task was amazing with talent. I would not tell them what to do but rather let them go and use judgement. The job was so great and the clean up was thorough that I recommended them on the spot to a friend,. If I need further work they will be my first call. My only hesitation in writing this review is that they may get so busy they won't have time for me but if that is the case then it is deserved.
