This place was amazing! I stumbled across this place when I was walking back to my hotel and was going to ask the receptionist of a great Italian restaurant (was over the tapas) and I found this gem! Unbelievable food! Like you're in Italy and the staff is so sweet and so Italian which makes it special!

Located a few blocks from our hotel we came here for a late dinner on a Friday night. Walking in, the place was packed which is always a good sign. It's more of a neighborhood restaurant than a tourist destination which was fine with us. Our waiter was quick to bring us sparkling water and a glass of wine. I chose the white pizza with truffle oil and mushrooms. I'm glad we didn't order any starters as it was big enough to share. My husband settled on the special which was a grilled bone-in ribeye steak. It was huge, at least 18 oz, well marbled, and juicy. We split the tiramisu for dessert on our waiter's recommendation. It came in a coffee cup and was the perfect way to end the meal. Our total bill came to €56 which was a bargain for the quality and presentation of the food.

First off, I am an Italian-American, and a chef. Walking up into the Eixample area was really nice and totally less congested than the Rambla. My husband and I searched high and low for a really good open Italian place. This was as close to perfection as we could get. My only notch from the 5 stars was that the pizza did lack salt. We asked for a little pecorino romano and it did enhance the truffled mushroom pizza. My frutti di mare was excellent, but only 1 shrimp, the mussels and clams were delicious and fresh. Flavors were excellent. Price was worth it. Lunch was 50€ for 2 with wines and dessert! Not bad at all!

Very nice pizzas! Buratta with anchoas is fantastic, for the pasta, very good just ask not to put a lot of salt, but it depends... Slightly expensive but it's good

We loved the food and the atmosphere. It was our first night in Barcelona and we wandered in and enjoyed our evening.

The restaurant is located on a relatively quiet neighborhood street making it a super authentic and nice escape from the busy city. There is a cute outdoor seating area with nice string lights. The inside ambiance is a bit bright making it less intimate which can be nice for a more casual dinner or meal with friends. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess who sat us immediately. Our server was so friendly and helpful with our selection of dishes. I also really liked how you could see the chef preparing the pasta upon ordering. We had the pumpkin orange tortellini and the yellow kulurgiones from ogliastra. Both were delicious and very very fresh. The tortellini was very flavorful with a sweet and savory aspect to it.I found the yellow kulurgiones to be a unique dish with the the mint touch. The menu had a broad selection with lots of different pastas and dishes to chose from. Very tasty and authentic Italian food!

Around 10, every table was taken. All pastas were made fresh. You can truly taste the quality here. Not only was this the best food I had during my visit to this city it was also the best Sangria. Full of fruit and spice. Now, I live in LA and getting this quality of food will easily run you around $20-$25 a dish. I believe our entire meal with wine, Sangria, and a Coke for two people was around €35ish. A steal in my opinion. Please make a stop here. The reviews are genuine and the place really is that good! I ordered the pesto Tagliatelle and my friend ordered the butternut squash ravioli. Both to die for. We also got a shot of limoncello to end the meal, yum.

I also ordered the homemade lemonade which was incredible! The staff are friendly and helpful (English speaking if needed) and the atmosphere is cute and spacious! I also really enjoyed the side bar which carried Olive oil, salt & pepper, utensils, & Parmesan - this way you can add as much as you'd like. I definitely recommend this place as I went twice in one week...it's that good!

Order at a counter, and they bring you food to your table. What we ordered: 1. Pinsa Romana with Stracciatella - Translation, a very margherita-esque pizza, but think very fresh and soft mozzarella. The dough is heavier and has a slightly sour taste a la sourdough. First thing we finished and would order again. 2. Aglio y olio + spinach + shrimp. Delicious. Our second favorite and would order again. 3. Cacio y pepe with broccoli added. For my American tastes, this was too heavily white pepper and not black pepper. It was a lot for me to scarf down in one dish and no one else liked it enough to eat this family-style. Would have just doubled up on aglio & olio if I were to visit again, which I would. Overall, a very nice place to sit down and have a casual meal. Would come here again.
