Fantastic experience. Was easy to schedule and Dominic came to my home in Sonoma on time to investigate evidence of moisture in one wall. After investigating for ten minutes, he determined that this was very unlikely to be a pipe leak, so not something he could address by investigating the water pipes using a camera. But he provided suggestions for the best next steps as well as companies that he had dealt with in the past that are good to work with. While he could have charged me for the visit, he did not. You would think that an outfit called leak detection pros would be available to fix whatever leaks you are suffering under. Not So./ Our water bill quadrupled due to a leak. The "Pro" came over, took a look at our water meter and said whatever sort of leak we have was not the kind that they repair. Fifteen minutes followed by "that will be three hundred and eighty dollars." Their ad should specify what they wiill and will not fix. And you must sign a contract BEFORE being told what they will do. read more

Dominic came out and found this intermittent leak I've been struggling to find for at least 4 years. I've been thru 3 mulligans with the local water district for high water use forgiveness. He had to escalate from the CO2 to the Helium big tank but he did find it in a place I would never have found or suspected. I dug down where he said, removed a bad buried inline valve, I didn't even know was there, capped off the pvc and the leak is gone! WHAAAAAT! This guy was so impressive, I had to add his business to Yelp in order to make comments! the story is this: I was getting water bills in excess of $1000 suddenly and it was determined that I had a major water leak between my meter at the street and the shut off valve at my house UNDER my very thick, beautiful and NEW concrete driveway. I had a plumber out who said "call this guy, he can locate it within inches" I was hesitant, but desperate. (the alternate solution was running a whole new water main at the expense of $5k or more) the owner, Mark Mengarelli, came out the same day that I called which was such a blessing. He filled the water lines with some kind of airborn gas and carefully spent a couple of hours listening over my driveway back and forth, up and down until he narrowed down an area about a 12" radius. this was a big risk for me, because if he was NOT accurate, i would have to continue tearing up my driveway until we found the leak. when he was done, he drilled a small hole in the driveway and place a marker flag at the expected leak location. The next day I had landscape and tile crew come out and cut a small section out of my driveway. after removing the section of concrete that was easily 6 - 8" thick, the dug down about 18 inches and found the water pipe. Miraculously, within 6" of where he placed the flag, they found the part of the pipe that had failed. This guy found a massive water leak under a concrete driveway within 6" of where he said it would be. Amazing right? I spoke to another plumber about this company and he confirmed "yeah, we don't use anyone else around here. he is miles better than others that try" Mark and his company saved us from major expenses and hardship as a result of his skill. We noticed that our pool water was going down very quickly. About 200 gallons a day. We started calling around and the soonest any leak detection company could come out was a week. Leak Detection Pros said if they have any cancellations he would call us. The next day he called letting us know he would be out that day. After a couple of hours he found the leak and called my pool company letting them know what and where he found the leak. What was so great about these guys is the pool company came out and dug where the leak was detected. They couldn't find the leak so they immediately came out and should them. Outstanding service. I had a broken pipe somewhere between the house and well and they were able to pinpoint the location within half an hour. They then dug up the line and pressure tested the system to confirm there was only one leak. Dominic even explained to me what type of fitting was needed if I wanted to repair the pipe myself. When you need these people they could have you over a barrel, but they got to work quickly and were done in exactly 2 hours for $350. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Good company! Dominic showed up, on time and after extensive search (only a few hours) he found our pool leak. Our pool is approximately 42' by 12' and deep, I was thinking it was going to be impossible to detect without digging up all the lines, I knew the lines ran everywhere and some even next to each other. Not only did he find the leak, he pointed it just about the exact place where the leak was. We had a leak that seemed to be coming from under the foundation. A well drilling company and plumber couldn't figure out the source for sure, But the plumber referred us to Leak Detection Pros. Dominic Mengarelli, from the company, came out and exhibited expertise no one else had and thoroughly tested our equipment, determining that the backwash in our iron filter attached to our well system was not completely closing and was discharging excess water into the ground. Great company. I was panicking after discovering my pool was loosing 3" day. Mark and Dominic came out same day. Tested all pipes which held tight but sealed off other suspect areas.
