We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling and were unable to find the source. We called Joes Plumbing and their representative took our information about the leak and was able to schedule an immediate appointment. Joe came out and inspected the leak, he did a thorough inspection and was able to determine the source of the leak. Joe was able to fix the issue without having to cut into the wall/ceiling. This was a huge relief for us. The price was great!!! Joe was awesome, professional and we would definitely hire him again. Thank you Joes Plumbing! read more

They showed up late and were very rude. Job was not done with competence. Do not use them

Great employees and great service from Joe's Plumbing. Prices are competitive with other plumbers.

You know when that little voice in your head says "don't do it?" You should listen to it, or at least I should've last night. It was almost midnight and I decided to throw just a few cut up veggies down the garbage disposal. Well big mistake, I really should've entrusted that voice because I turned on the garbage disposal & then BAM, both sides of the sink started filling up with water. I made some inquiries today with friends on Facebook for recommendations then I remembered on one FB group page where people had been asking for referrals for plumbers throughout the year so I did a search on that page for plumbers & 9 out of 10 recommended Joe's Plumbing. I gave them a call & left a message, Andrea called me back & we discussed my problem (I thought it might need to be snaked as in the past as these old track homes have issues.). Andrea said Eric would arrive between 11am & 1pm, then asked if I'd be home. I said no but I worked 5 minutes away so she said I would get a call when he's on his way. I kid you not, about 25 to 30 minutes later I received a call that Eric was on his way & this was at 9:22am. Talk about early! I met Eric at my house, discussed everything, then he went to work. He discovered that I didn't need my whole house snaked (last time was about 10 years ago), that basically everything was centered in the kitchen sink pipes. He carefully worked his magic & everything was working again. We discuss the cost, which he told me an amount & then said not to worry about it they will send a bill to my address. Talk about that old hometown feeling even when they don't know you! I have other jobs that I'll be contacting them about but for now I highly recommend Joe's Plumbing!! read more

Our water was shot off by the city due to a leaking pipe. Called Joe's Plumbing. Initially they were booked for 2 days, meaning 2 days without water, but Andrea worked her magic. Eric came out and got us fixed the same afternoon. THANK YOU so very much! Highly recommend Joe's Plumbing! read more

Great service provider! Twice in two weeks I had different plumbing problems. The first, a simple clogged drain -- but with house guests scheduled the next day. I called Joe's at 4:59pm. Eric G. was there next morning at 8:00am, fixed! The next problem was more perplexing - a mysterious leak on our one acre property. Water meter spinning. Again, Eric to the rescue, who found the leak, capped it, and reworked a few lines to ensure it doesn't happen again. Highly recommended by this Penngrove resident! read more

I want to give a shout out to Joe's Plumbing. I have used them in the past, they never disappoint. This visit I had a plugged up kitchen sink, so couldn't use it at all. I called in the morning, explained my issue and Eric came out that afternoon. They are reasonable, know what they are doing and very nice. I am so happy they could fit me in so quickly! Highly recommend!!! read more

If you need a plumber call Joe's Plumbing. Joe and Joey (father and son) and now the daughter is doing scheduling are the best period. I am a licensed contractor and work with different plumbers all over the bay area. If I could I would have Joe's Plumbing on every job. Make a call, Joe comes out and gives you a quote, his daughter will call you with the schedule, Then they show up on time and get it done right. Love this family run business. read more

The two guys, whoever they were since they didn't say, showed up over an hour past the time window with no call or explanation. Fine, stuff happens. Things go late and we were home anyway. But they showed up pissed off for no clear reason. Our power was out unexpectedly for a few minutes, which happened unfortunately while they were there. If they'd been even close to on time it wouldn't have been an issue. The older guy exclaimed very angrily that he couldn't see anything and then snarled at my husband to reschedule and then stormed off. Neither would even make eye contact with me or talk to me. They were extremely rude for no reason, and apparently sexist too. I guess they must be really good plumbers if they don't care about getting business or treating people with any kindness at all. Needless to say, we'll be calling another plumber. I'd at least like to know what we did that pissed them off so much, since all I did was schedule an appointment with the office person, who was actually very nice and helpful. Very confusing and perplexing situation. read more

I would not recommend them. They showed up late (over 1.5 hors late). They were rude and did "ok" work.

We've been using Joe's Plumbing for a couple years, but our most recent experience motivated a review. The controller for our master bedroom shower fell off in our hands and we couldn't turn off the water. Finally, my husband was able to turn off the water to the house while I called Joe's Plumbing. By early afternoon, Joe had fit us into his schedule and, together, we'd determined the correct part to order. An awful experience would have been a lot worse if we didn't have a great plumber. read more

When you ask about a plumber on local Facebook pages and Nextdoor, Joe's is one of two names that comes up over and over. We've had them over for several things in the last few months - fixing the shoddy work of a handyman, draining a water heater, and consulting on a leak. They are affordable and pleasant and they (Joe and Joey) go out of their way to help you in my experience, particularly in emergencies. I wouldn't hesitate to hire again. Thanks guys - Tom. read more

I can't say enough good things about Joe's Plumbing. They are always prompt and efficient. Everyone I speak to--from Joe, to his answering service, to the technicians he sends to our house if he himself can't come--are all skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly. This last time I was expecting only an assessment, but they were able to assess and fix our problem on the spot. This is the third time we've worked with Joe and each time has been a five star experience--we wouldn't want to work with anyone else. Having a good plumber you can rely on is priceless--you can rely on Joe!! I highly recommend Joe and his company. read more

Another wonderful story from clients that had a Friday emergency! They needed a plumber and time was of the essence. They had to be out of their home completely so that the new buyers could move in. One quick call to JOE'S PLUMBING is all that was needed. Joe showed up at 8 am on Saturday and repaired the leaky pipe (inside a wall no less!). The new buyer wanted him to install a new water heater before they took possession on Sunday, and VOILA, new water heater installed the next day. Joe's Plumbing is simply THE BEST! read more

The outside faucet used for garden hoses was leaking. I figured I could replace the faucet myself. I went to Ace hardware and picked up the part. I tried to get off the old one but it was difficult and I was worried about twisting and busting the pipe. I called Joe. The part I had bought was the wrong size, so we just swapped parts and he fixed it in a few minutes. Whew! He's a nice guy, a long time Petaluma resident, and knows what he's doing. read more

Very professional service. I called on my water heater came the same day in late afternoon to give me assessment and quote and was there the next day. Called Joe to fix leak at sink and make connection for a broken pipe. He quoted $350 to fix both issue. After half hour to an hour of work, his crew were done. I started hearing a noise in my shower like water running behind the wall. I was concerned it was the beginning of a bigger problem so I called Joe and he came out to check on it for me (next morning, no charge). Turns out is was just the water in the shower head cycling back/through so no biggee. I'm very pleased to have him come out to give me a hand even though my problem turned out to be a non-problem and I now know who to call when something happens that does require a plumber. Thank you, Joe! read more

Couldn't have hoped for a better experience---reported a strange, new, mystery leak that had had us puzzled for about a week (hearing running water, but no water was on in the house). Joe Jr. arrived within 2 hours of my call and hypothesized that an old line running under the house may be the culprit. Sure enough we inspected out back under the deck and saw a pool of water---an old line that had been capped a few years ago had been broken by a nearby tree's root growth. Joe went under the house's crawl space, and had the old line chopped and capped in about 15 minutes. Super service---so quick he also had time to fix a poorly flushing toilet whose jet holes had been plugged by calcium deposits. Joe Sr. showed up just as was I writing the check to brag about how he had sent his top man out to do this job. Great father & son team! read more

I called Joe the Plumber because I was having problems with my water heater in a rental. I had previously had another plumber come out and he told me that I needed to have a bunch of work done and it wouldn't be covered under any of the warranties, etc. So when Joe came out, he did a temporary fix and told me to call him when the part came in. I called him and he was out there within a couple of hours and replaced the part. I am now having another issue with the water heater, as I believe it is just faulty and I have called Joe, once again. Hoping we can fix this problem once and for all. They seem to be quite efficient and prompt, up front and honest. They came to me highly recommended. read more
