Pretty tasty and healthy. Decent price for good food. Kids eat free on Sundays with an adult entree I think

So I have tried the regular Caesar sandwich and the cojito- def love the cojito it's a bit of a Tex-Mex Caesar salad taste. Either way what they do is with the bread they pull the inside of the bread out and fill it with a salad, which is a sandwich portion so they don't open the bread up and slice it. This makes it kind of like a baguette situation love the idea so fresh and so crunchy! I need the app. They were so sweet inside that we got to try the tea before we purchased.

If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.

I rarely crave a salad for a meal, but whenever I go to Salata, it's always a good decision. The…read moreingredients are consistently super fresh, and the salads are genuinely delicious--not the "I guess this is healthy" kind, but actually satisfying. They offer several protein options (à la carte, with an extra charge), which is great if you want to make it a full meal. The regular-size bowl is huge, so you definitely get your money's worth, though fair warning: once you add protein, plus tax and tip, it can come out close to $18. This Salata location off Wirt and I-10 is clean, spacious, and well-run. I've never waited more than a few minutes to order, though I usually avoid the peak lunch rush. Everything feels efficient without being rushed. Quick PSA for anyone planning a visit: they do not open for dinner on Sundays--they close at 4 pm. Learned this the hard way once when we walked almost a mile in near-freezing weather (for exercise, not necessity!) only to find it closed late Sunday afternoon. We were sad. Luckily there is a BuffBurger next door so we didn't so healthy that day. :) All that said, Salata is hands-down the best place for a solid, reliable salad. If you're in the mood for something fresh and filling, this spot delivers every time.

Lunch rush can usually feel hectic, but the staff here worked at their own steady pace while keeping such a positive attitude. I was really happy with the portion size of my salad and how quickly everything was ready. In and out, no hassle... just how I like it. The salad? Never a disappointment. Ever. It was amazing. Pairing it with a wrap made it even better.

The red, white and blue salad may sound too patriotic, but strawberries, blueberries and grilled chicken with the cheese and other veggies is delicious. You can choose it as a part of their new pick 3 so yes I did pay $2 extra for the salad, but then we got tomato basil soup and chicken salad sandwich. One of my favorite things about going there is they have sweet tea, unsweetened tea, then Splenda sweetened tea. I also saw they had a deal for 2 pizzas and a big salad for $20 so we got that to go. The pizza was a tiny bit dry, but the Greek salad is also excellent.

You order at the counter and they bring you the food pretty quickly. This is plenty of food for a dinner, and honestly I probably shouldn't have eaten it all. The salad was quite good it was a simple Caesar salad with a nice ratio of dressing to lettuce and some Parmesan and croutons. Tasted fresh and honestly I probably could have had the salad and half the pizza. I went with the pepperoni and sausage pizza. Flavorful, a good meat cheese sauce bread ratio. I'm not rushing to go back, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Ever since I had repeated bad experiences at their HBU location, I decided to try this one. The restaurant is cleaner than the other one. Staff is friendly and more helpful. Food is lined up by the wall, not behind the glass wall, unlike the other one. I don't mind it. But I think it can be distracting. Food was fresh. I ordered a large bowl no meats but with chopped eggs, chickpeas, black beans and edamame beans. I chose the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Nothing fancy. All natural. The employee who prepared my dish recommended me to download the Salata app to save money with rewards. So, I did it at home. Yeah. I'm coming back to this Salata on Westheimer near Lakeside Village.

You can accompany your salad with soda or tea of your choice. Pricing: $ - definitely worth visiting considering the amount of food and affordable prices.

Finding good food is hard, finding good salad is HARDER…read moreSometimes you pay a high price, some times you have to BARTER Sometime Barbie comes here in fencenets, sometimes in a GARTER But if you want a wonderful Salad, go to SALATA Except not so wonderful at this inside-the-Mall location. 3 visits and all of them decidedly substandard. And I don't mean crafted to the standard of a US Navy Sub either. Nor a Subway Sub, which honestly aren't much worse. Now this is probably the worst Salata location we've ever been to. The service wasn't good, but wasn't the worst part. All of the veggies were pretty much bad, as in rotten, browning, congealed, inedible. Just from the ugly visuals, we had to cut out about half the things that we wanted that we usually get at other locations, because they looked so wilted and rotten. And still... Whatever we were left with tasted so rotten that we didn't even eat half of it. It was also a small portion but the congealed nature was the main problem. Yet we're still paying nearly $10 per salad for this. Easily a 1-star experience, and whereas most Salatas are anywhere from a 3 to a 5, this is one which I would avoid like the plague. But I love this company as a whole and I love the woman that responds so kindly to reviews, good, and bad, and I don't have the heart to give less than 3. Not that I really avoid the plague since it doesn't so much plague us anymore. Perhaps you could say I avoid it like an STD, since it's easier to catch those, and usually more fun.

When it came to the dressing, they were skimping and I had to ask for extra because they gave me so much romaine and arugula. Then charged me for it. I am annoyed. How about give an appropriate amount of dressing to salad ratio? I asked it as to-go. He didn't hear me. Thats okay, I'll just repeat myself. They packed my salad, and proceeded to just hand me the box. I had to stand there awkwardly waiting for a bag and fork. I am never going back to this location. The Salata on Briar Forest Dr. always gets me right.
