Michelin one star in the 7th. Very good, ticked all the boxes. I had an innovative dish of spelt cooked as a risotto with lobster (yum!) and a really nice riz de veau paired with a young white from Marsannay. Dessert was a strawberry coulis. The only negative (if really a negative) was that the clientele was close to 100% American. It was like I was surrounded by the Real Housewives of New Jersey and their families. So if you're looking for something Parisians are actually going to you might want to look elsewhere, but as far as great food you won't go wrong here. The maitre d' is also an author who wrote a short novel on immigration in France - his concept is very interesting, worth asking about. Very nice service team. Restaurant has no view of the Eiffel Tower (and don't ask them! Though their response is pretty funny) but very nice, prim and proper dining room.

Rounded off our Euro Michelin meals here. We started in Amsterdam, next up was Berlin then ended at my favorite city in the whole world - Paris. You know how I know my French isn't as good as I thought it was all week? We walked in slightly early for our reservation and the woman who seated us asked if we wanted the menu in french or English and I had not a clue what she said. We laughed when it all clicked in. I am so glad this is the spot I picked when I was going through a list of places to eat at in the city as I have a tradition of having a big meal on the last night. The ambiance here was so chill. We didn't even bother looking at the menu since we already knew we were doing the menu tasting. 7 courses, but no alcohol. I find when I do the wine pairing I end up being full quicker so I've decided to just focus on the food. Being the Americans that we are, I'm fairly certain our meal went a little quicker than normal. The table next to us started before us, but we finished before them. They ate ate. We stopped when the dish wasn't to our liking. There was only one course we didn't care for - the pigeon. That taste did not spark joy in my mouth. I took a couple of bites and tapped out. Overall, out of the 3 Michelin meals we had - this place hands down wins as the best bang for your buck. The Amsterdam tasting was the most expensive, but did come with the most food, some I couldn't finish. The Berlin tasting, while completely vegetarian, was probably the most satisfying. This tasting was the perfect portion and most cost effective. It's7 courses with an amuse bouche and an extra serving of dessert so it felt more like 9 courses really. At the end of the night, we were full and satisfied. If you're here for a late dinner, I highly suggest walking two blocks over to the Eiffel tower and wait for the lights that come on for 5 minutes that starts at the top of the hour. We found the perfect spot and watched it twinkle like we were on top of it. It was a magical moment. Thank you for a great meal!

What a great great experience! We walked by this restaurant by coincidence and we were looking for a dinner spot for the night so we decided to go in. We asked if they take walk in and they did. I highly recommend reservations as the place gets busy and I think everyone else had a reservation. Staffs are super nice and prompt, Juliana helped us a lot on wine recommendations and even gave us tips on where to get good wines on our own. After some warm greetings, we were served with some free appetizers from the restaurant. The green mouse thing (I forgot the name) was so delicious. It's some type of purée with caviar and cream on top. I was snacking on it and know that we made a great choice. Everything we had was delicious, I mean it, everything. From the crab cakes with dill, lobster salad, mushroom risotto (omg, why so delicious, what's the magic ingredient?!) to tuna fish, pigeon Wellington style. Desert is also fantastic, cream Mille is so perfect we were full and still managed to ate them all. Then again, they gave us more free desert at the end and we managed to finish those too! I'm definitely recommending this place to my friends who will travel to Paris later. I really wish I would've dressed up a little for this nice occasion.

The waitress dropped my hasselblad camera on ground while moved the table didn't even notice Waitress didn't apologize till I asked !Very rude! Through translator still can't settle this issue ask for boss just say free drinks? We refused that, we only cared about the attitude. French service like this very unprofessional. It's a joke! How much is my camera?! Afterwards manager attitude better. It's not done!

my first michelin dining experience was enlightening! we came in for the 2-course lunch meal €58/person. excellent, attentive service. they accommodated to our tourist needs (like needing an outlet and wifi). the food presentation was exquisite and you could tell each dish was prepared with care. I personally really loved both the starters--the truffle ravioli in broth and the scallops. the portion size for the beef was much larger than the fish but both were rich in flavor. left very very full and they gave a surprise little treat!

This restaurant was simply lovely! The staff are exceptional and extremely friendly. I made a reservation (highly recommended), but for the wrong day, but they were able to still get us in. The quality of the dishes was high and portions were perfect. The only issue I had was with the soufflé; they poured in way too much Grand Marnier which overpowered the flavor of the soufflé itself. I ordered the pigeon and it will be a dish I dream about until I go back!

Fantastic dining experience. Staff welcomes you upon entering and pampers you through the entire meal. Food lives up to promise of excellence in every way. Worthy of a visit.

Agréable salle au décor chic et raffiné. Nous avons aimé nos plats et desserts. Avons apprécié les amuse bouches et mignardises offertes par la maison. Dommage, le pain était un peu caoutchouc. Pleasant and refined décor in the dining room. We both liked our main course and desserts. We appreciated the "amuse-bouche" (small appetizers) a mignardises (mini cakes) which were complimentary. Unfortunately, the bread was not crunchy enough.

Amazingly delicious. Attentive and kind. Wine pairing was exceptional and highly recommended with their tasting menu! Nothing bad to say, just go hungry and enjoy!

My dad and I were planning on eating at Chez L'Ami Jean, but when we arrived at opening, we found out that they were fully booked. We weren't that hungry, however, so we started walking to the Eiffel Tower. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. When we got there, we found out that it is one Michelin starred, so we thought we would've be seated due to our casual attire and no reservation. To our surprise, the host was super friendly and welcoming, and squeezed us in at the one open table until 9pm. Everyone spoke English really well, and each waiter explained the dishes of the menu to us clearly. My dad and I got the beef consommé with foie gras and the spider crab jelly appetizers. Both amazing! We ordered the pigeon and the lamb for our main dishes. Incredible! The pigeon and lamb were both cooked so well and super tender. I got the pear dessert with caramel ice cream. I usually don't enjoy desserts with warm fruit, but I thought I'd give it a try because it seemed to be the most popular item. My dad and I trusted the waiter on each dish, and we're glad we did! This is my third time in Paris, and even with two more days left of my stay, I think I can safely say that this was the best meal I've had in Paris.

If you walk too fast, you'll miss this gem and possibly some of the greatest cuisine in the area. We chose to visit this restaurant at the last minute - the best decision of our trip to Paris! An absolute must if you're in the area and looking for a dinner spot. Did I mention Michelin Star worthy???

Simply amazing! Enjoyed our meal and service was great. Veal sweetbread was so well prepared and you forget what you are eating. Pigeon and foie gras were also well prepared. Loved the asparagus appetizer.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)
