    Amazing cheeses and meats

We enjoying tasting wine and cheese at this vintage Italian wine room. We loved the beautiful outdoor area and the quiet vibes and music. The service was very attentive and inspiring. We loved the assortment of cheeses are our favorite the primosale Fantasia with the salami and truffles paired with a bottle of vionier. This is a must visit especially the weekend with food and great wine.

Beautiful winery, excellent and knowledgeable staff, delicious food, wine, and live music on Sundays! I'll be back to this award winning winery for sure!

I recently visited Le Vigne Winery for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! I had a reservation. he staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I sat outdoor, which was perfect since the weather was beautiful. I did the wine tasting with the cheese pairing, which is an extra $5, and totally worth it! The pairings were well thought out and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the tasting. I also tried their Le Vigne Signature Pizza, which was simple but absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I noticed the crowd leaned a bit older, with many groups enjoying the experience together. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend Le Vigne Winery for a wonderful tasting experience!

Nikki was this superstar of our whole event great wines, great pizza, great cheese super big smile very pleasant

Walter & Sylvia make you feel like family, their team members are no different. Food is always on point, such yummy flavors with Walter being the chef extraordinaire! And there's wine, lots of amazing wine!

Food is delicious, and so is the wine! The views are beautiful, and the staff is always friendly. I love all the cheese pairings with the wine. I even sent my family wines from here during a special they ran (six bottles for only $10 shipping I think?) and the transaction was super smooth. We also love enjoying their pizzas when we visit!

We have been here twice they have great wine and pair it nicely with cheese. They have a good staff very knowledgeable about wine. We bought a few bottles the first time we came. It's cool because you can sit in the wine distillery room and taste the wine. We definitely will be back.

Had a good time doing some work and enjoying some wine and cheese pairings. Beautify garden, nice store, they'll cold pack your cheeses for travel. Service was great. Bought two bottles of wine as well.

    Yummy wine. Cheers!

It was my first time in the alley area was excited to try this wine tasting. The service was fast easy and they were very friendly. Can't wait to go again and try their lunch menu as well.

Where have I been??.... Cuz I definitely shoulda been coming here. Came for the sunset dinner and wine pairing event outside under the pistachio grove. This event was off the chain .... I loved the long tables and being seated next to strangers ... forcing you to communicate and have a good time. This is a great social event! Met some cool people, ate some delicious food ... that my stomach was craving more of and had some really great wine. I could spend a fortune at this winery. I love that they have different events ... and was really excited they had live music at this winery. The staff were friendly, approachable, and had great sense of humor. I think I'm in love with this wine ! I give y'all five thumbs up !! Watch out I'll be back ;)

We had an outstanding evening with visiting and tasting the great wines and cheeses with Stephanie. The outside tastings were lovely with the views of the surrounding countryside so the setting was perfect for a late evening tasting when we visited in December 2022. Our wines were excellent as well as the beautiful family history - love the labels! Stephanie, again thank you for providing for all our comfort and one of our best personal wine experiences in Paso Robles.

The patio is a beautiful spot to taste, and if you're there later in the day, the sunset views are hard to beat. Definitely do the free cave tour while you're there. It's one of the coolest winery tours I've been on. The caves are a massive labyrinth carved into the hillside and naturally stay around 55 degrees year round, which is where they age a lot of their wine before bottling. Even if you've been to a lot of wineries, this is something a little different. At the time I'm writing this, tastings are still complimentary, which is almost unheard of these days. If you go, do them a favor and leave with a bottle or two. That's how places like this are able to keep offering experiences like this, and honestly, you'll probably want to take some wine home anyway.

The tour started at 10am cause it would be too hot to be outside in the afternoon. Our tour guy was very professional and knowledgeable about this massive vineyard resort. The tour took about an hour and half and finished with wine tasting in the resort tasting room. We were introduced to the entire property, history and facts about this winery. I really liked the cute goats on the ground. I was worried about them being in the heat and out in the sun. But our tour guy assured me that they made sure the animals stay in shaded areas and drink enough water to stay hydrated. The arts of this place are just fantastic. Owner is a big art collector so he covers quite a few cultures including Buddha (my faith)! All the arts are from the original countries so they are authentic. I loved the amazing art installations throughout the vineyard. My sign Virgo was on the top of the hill so we had to do a mill hike to see it. There is an art tour that we will do next time. I really want to know the details and histories of all the arts here. I was so glad that we decided to do this tour. If you ever visit Paso Robles wine country you might want to check this winery out. The prices were reasonable at $45 per person, $30 for resort guests and complimentary for members (2 people). The grounds are gorgeous, the sculptures throughout the property are genuinely impressive, and the music and scene were a great backdrop. The wine itself seemed perfectly decent. But the experience on the ground was bad enough that none of that mattered by the time we left. We didn't have a reservation, that's on us. But the website says reservations are recommended, not required, so we figured we'd try anyway. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we weren't wanted. The hostess hustled us into a side room, then walked off, at which point a server immediately told me -- not pleasantly -- that I was standing in the wrong place. When I asked about a few wines I was interested in, I was met with a clear lack of interest, capped off by being rudely told to just get a glass of muscat, like the suggestion was as much about getting rid of me as it was a recommendation. So that's what we did, and then we left. We tasted at several other wineries in Paso Robles that day and had wonderful experiences at every one of them. Staff who were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to have us, reservation or not. Sculpterra was the only stop where we walked away having spent next to nothing, and it's the only place on the entire trip we'll never go back to, no matter how nice the grounds are. Beautiful property, but the people working the floor that day made it clear they didn't want our business, so we obliged.

I stumbled across Mitchella while…read moredoing a search on Yelp, and am quite pleased I chose this to be my one stop before moving on to the next city. The tasting at Mitchella Vineyard and Winery is $20 for 6 wines, with mindfully curated cheese pairings. (A fantastic deal considering the seemingly skyrocketing cost of everything.) The tasting fee is also waived with the purchase of 2 bottles, which is the route I opted for after completing my experience. Upon arrival I was instantly greeted by Lizzie, as she patiently and quietly waited for me to exit my car. She wiggled her butt toward the entrance, encouraging me to follow. Sweet little start to the day, I'd say! (The winery pup in case you haven't figured that out.) ;-) Rachel quickly greeted me and got me seated next to a heater in their enclosed patio, and the paired adventure began. The Viognier was paired with Kokos, a coconut Gouda cheese. Very surprising on the palate, and the wine definitely emphasized the coconut, while the cheese brought out the pineapple of the wine. The Chardonnay had a crisp mouth feel but still just the slightest hint of that butteriness I tend to love in my chardonnays. The subtle saltiness of the benning goat Gouda smoothed out the crispness of the wine. The Cheap B*st*rd (since I'm not sure what Yelp decides doesn't work for them), was quite enjoyable as a stand alone. For me it had the nose of what I would consider to be darker fruits and a generally more jammy wine, but it was smooth on the palate. The white Stilton with cranberry that it was paired out helped bring forward some of the fruit flavor, but the cheese itself wasn't my favorite (hence the stand alone aspect). The Tempranillo would be my grab a glass and a book and plop down by the fireplace (or on my balcony wrapped in blankets) type of wine. It didn't feel heavy and was just a nice sippable red. On the nose, for me, was a very dark red kookaburra licorice. It had a smooth, light finish and paired quite well with the mimolette (which I will forever know as the cannonball cheese thanks to Rachel!) Presumptuous, a zin, had what I consider to be a jammy mouthfeel (as I still can't figure out how exactly wine connoisseurs identify that!) It was paired with a Boschetto truffle cheese and I feel it brought out a very mushroom forward (favorable) taste when put together. For me, it isn't always about what can the food do for the wine... I love to experience what the find can do for the food! Give me a nice side dish of garlic sautéed mushrooms with a glass of this zin, and pretty sure I'm one happy girl. The only potential downside to me for this winery is that their restroom is a portable. While considerably clean, it's definitely a tight squeeze if you're a bigger girl like myself. Deal breaker? Not a chance. I look forward to a future stop when the vines are green and views expansive!

The eatery was very calming and was a wonderful way to spend our lunch hour. They did not rush us and we felt very welcomed. Definitely will be back here again.

I recently went back to Paso Robles and discovered Vina Robles had switched owners…read more At first I was sad and scared since I really did enjoy my experience at their previous location. Once I heard what happened I was more sad but happy to hear the new owner wants to continue Vina Robles. I wish as a member I would have gotten notified. Went to their new location which was really convenient since we were going to other wineries near there. It's still a big location. Plenty of seating and they still offer food which we were happy about. Our server was super sweet and knowledgeable which I always appreciate when it comes to wine. We started a tasting and then just tried whatever she gave us which we weren't complaining. Haha. All the wine she was giving us was really good. I was really impressed by their food. I wanted more of everything. We got their bruschetta al Fresco, hummus, monte Bianca pizza, and one other pizza. I fell in love with their bruschetta. We got there right as there kitchen closed which was a bummer because I wanted more. Overall, I still enjoy their wine. Their location is really nice. Food is delicious. I will conintue being a member and will stop by anytime I am in the area.

Plus, Cass just has to stop by Cass when in town... We sat outside this time which was nicer than last time we came, and the food tasted fresher and even better. Our pizza was perfectly wood fired, and even though I'm not typically a big crab cake person, this was the best crab cake & greens I've ever had! I will be back for some rose and that crab cake alone. Not a snooty winery, and just a great vibe all around. You have to make Cass a regular Paso stop!

The menu is incredibly well thought out, and everything we ordered delivered. The tri-tip sandwich is among the best versions of that sandwich we've had anywhere, full stop. The wood-fired oven items were all exceptional as well, every dish clearly made with real care and attention. This is a restaurant that would stand out on its own merits regardless of the winery attached to it. We will absolutely be back to properly explore the wine program and the rest of the property, but even on the strength of this one meal, Cass earns a strong recommendation. Legitimately exceeds expectations.
