We stopped by Le Vigne Winery before heading to the Garagiste Festival and had such a great experience! Nikki was our server and she was absolutely adorable, warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever rushing us. She made our tasting relaxed and enjoyable, and we ended up purchasing enough bottles to cover our tasting fee. One thing I really enjoyed about Le Vigne is their wine lineup. They have a beautiful mix of estate-grown varietals, everything from bold Paso reds like Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah to aromatic whites like Viognier. Their wines have that classic Paso Robles richness, but still feel balanced and easy to drink. It was fun trying different styles, and we found a couple of bottles we instantly fell in love with. We also wanted a light lunch, so we ordered a couple of pizzas and they did not disappoint! Pizza La Specialita delle Vigne- Their take on a margherita pizza -- simple, classic, but packed with flavor. Pizza Prosciutto Crudo, Funghi Porcini e Carciofini- My boyfriend kindly picked off the prosciutto for me, and this one ended up being my favorite. The mushrooms and artichokes together were perfect. Both pizzas were medium-sized and totally shareable, exactly what we needed before an afternoon of wine tasting. Voted Best Winery a few weeks ago by two prestigious competitions, it was time I headed over -- about time. I loved the experience. My party of 6 made a reservation for lunch, and were seated in the inside, and sat next to huge fermenter tanks and barrels -- perfect to feel cool during the hot summer. The wine was delish ($20 tasting) and for $5 extra, cheese pairing -- it's a no brainer, so good. Recommended. They change it up monthly. Also changing is the small Italian lunch menu: 3 pizzas, 2 pastas, 1 sandwich. I had only cheese on this fine day, but all others in my party really liked what they ordered. I sat outdoor, which was perfect since the weather was beautiful. I did the wine tasting with the cheese pairing, which is an extra $5, and totally worth it! The pairings were well thought out and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the tasting. I also tried their Le Vigne Signature Pizza, which was simple but absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I noticed the crowd leaned a bit older, with many groups enjoying the experience together. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely be back soon. Where have I been??.... Cuz I definitely shoulda been coming here. Came for the sunset dinner and wine pairing event outside under the pistachio grove. This event was off the chain .... I loved the long tables and being seated next to strangers ... forcing you to communicate and have a good time. This is a great social event! Met some cool people, ate some delicious food ... that my stomach was craving more of and had some really great wine. I could spend a fortune at this winery. I love that they have different events ... and was really excited they had live music at this winery. The staff were friendly, approachable, and had great sense of humor. About a year ago my husband and I stopped at Le Vigne and loved this place. The staff were helpful and wine was good. We're back in town and knew we had to stop again. Unfortunately, our experience this time was not as pleasant. We stopped by about 35 minutes before closing. There were still several parties tasting when we arrived. We walked up to bar and asked for a tasting for two. The woman was nice and went to go get glasses. There was a man working that said "you know we close in 30 minutes, right?" He was clearly annoyed we were there. We told him we could go somewhere else and he was very dismissive. So we left. The last time we visited we purchase 5 bottles and cheese. We also sent several friends here. There are so many options in Paso and we will choose to spend our money and time elsewhere. read more

Today I missed Sylvia and Walter, but always will be back to see them! Today we had a new face in the tasting room, Miss Jenifer (with one 'N'). I think I've fallen in love again here at Le Vigne!!! The wines are so expressive and unique, super proud of all that goes into this amazing wine. The 2019 Estate series Ame De La Vigne (heart of the vineyard) has been been a personal faveee lately. Also! We just had the best Paso Robles weekend! What made it so special was going to see Walter (owner) and his Zio Andreas at Le Vigne! Last May, we stumbled upon this winery at the end of a full day of celebrating our friends 60th birthday. When we sat down, we were welcomed with open arms and served with care by Daniel, who had been working there for 18 years. We all signed up for the wine and cheese pairing - which was absolutely phenomenal. While we were enjoying that experience, my husband went to order some pasta and pizza dishes for our group. He met Walter the chef and owner, and they immediately became friends. Walter gifted us with a beautiful birthday dessert for our friend and we were sold! Not only was the wine, amazing, and the food absolutely delicious, but the care and the love that we received made us feel like family! So, we returned this weekend to pick up more wine and see our friends Walter (Daniel, Scott, Elise, and Cassie). It was a beautiful homecoming filled with laughter, great conversation, more amazing wine, and some surprise dishes just like my Sicilian grandmother used to make! We were also blessed to meet Walter's uncle, also from Italy, and winery patron Charlie, who felt like a long lost cousin. read more

Le Vigne continues to be one of the few remaining wineries in our wine shipment rotation. After three years we were finally able to attend a pickup party. And so glad we did! We were able to secure a table reservation quickly via email. We knew these would go fast and made sure to contact them quickly. Included in the pickup party was a luncheon with desert, wine tasting, and live music! First, the execution was flawless. They were able to get everyone in and out in excellent time. While there was another seating at 1pm and we were notified that the bar would be closed soon we still never felt rushed. We ended up bringing Jackson, our beagle and all the employees and fellow guests were so sweet with him. The food was fantastic and just enough. We especially enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert! Le Vigne Winery also excels at making their shipments specials. Not only do they have cheese pairings but they typically include some kind of gift. This time it was a beautiful fig jam. Everything about this winery is five stars. And I'm excited to return for future events! read more

This was my first visit, and I was not disappointed. Jocelyn took great care of us... She was friendly and knowledgeable. Our favorites were the Sauvignon Blanc, the Grenache, and the Petit Verdot. A nice surprise of raspberry custard at the end of our tasting rounded it out nicely. read more

We arrived to Le Vigne Winery around 4:56pm and they were scheduled to close at 5pm.. We were a party of 10 so we were a little bummed that we arrived late. As we were getting ready to get in our car Walter (the owner) happened to be sitting in the front of the winery having a glass of wine. He insisted we stay and that he would personally serve us! We were beyond excited. Not only did he serve us one of his host Pat stayed to attend us. She was full of knowledge and provided exceptional service. As Pat poured us our tastings Walter and George (another amazing cook) proceeded to bring out meats, cheeses and a mouth watering blood orange salad topped with oil and a balsamic reduction. Walter and his amazing crew went above and beyond for us! He made us feel as if we were apart of his family! Such a kind, humble, loving man. A hidden gem! A few locals recommended Le Vigne. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the drive. Seated inside their barrel room for our tasting and lunch. Reservation was made, but seating spots seemed first come. The reds were good, whites didn't quite touch on what we liked. Their cheese pairing though was a favorite amongst our group. Also appreciated they had a lunch menu where we all ordered pizzas which were delicious. As others mentioned, the chocolates and cookies for dessert were also a nice touch to end our experience. Worth noting. Le Vigne was the most affordable of all the tastings we did in our Paso weekend. About half the price from other tastings and the team there allowed us to try other bottles that were open. read more

A sudden rise in temperature in Templeton, made us look around for some wine to cool us down and with it if they served some light food, that would be really good! We found our answer in Le Vigne winery where we did tasting of 5 wine and cheese pairings. Along with that we order their signature pizza and another one with ham. Both were very good. We also order the bowl of tricolor penne pasta and their ravioli. These two were delectable as well. Finally they gave us free cannoli, which was quite good as well. A few months ago I had the pleasure of attending a wine and cheese tasting at the Cheese Store of Beverly Hills featuring Le Vigne wine, at which the charming and talented Walter Filippini appeared.... I was so impressed with the wines and was anxious to visit his family winery in Paso Robles. Wow, I would give ten stars if I could! I can not say enough good things about Le Vigne! We picked the wine and cheese pairing, which is absolutely the way to go. They serve cheeses from around the world..... our favorite was the buttery Lamb Chopper - from Cypress Gove Creamery in Holland. At the Beverly Hills tasting, I liked all of the wines served, but particularly liked their Chardonnay .... At the winery, we definitely wanted to buy a bottle of wine, and had a terrible time deciding which was our favorite, as we liked all five we tried. In the end, we decided to purchase their 2016 Grenache, though the 2016 Malbec was a close second..... I loved the way they packaged the cheese, in a small canvas bag with a little frozen bag of ice to keep the cheese cool on the way back to our hotel. The service here is so warm, friendly, knowledgeable ... I loved seeing Walter again. Charmer - so full of life! He was passing out DELICIOUS cheese bread that seemed to just come out of the oven. This man can BAKE! (He made a lasagna for the Cheese Tasting in B.H which was to die for) There were also other delicately made appetizers that were passed out. It classy touch, to an already perfect experience. Another perk - we were able to bring our little dog. They were so sweet to Carlos. I'm so glad the Cheese Store of Beverly Hills so highly recommended this winery. It definitely was the highlight of our weekend in Paso Robles. I most definitely will be back! read more

Don't let the drive there fool you. It seems like you may be headed for the Douglas farm in Green Acres but Le Vigne is a modern facility. We participated in the wine and cheese pairings and then lunch. The wines and cheeses were good to excellent. The lunch was outstanding, especially the gnocchi. Service was pretty slow even though we were not in a rush. I heard one of the waitstaff say they were short-staffed. Don't know if it was that day only or a longer term problem. I recommend this winery if you have some time on your hands. read more

It is a hike to get to Le Vigne Winery as it is a bit off the beaten path but the reward was worth the effort. We arrived around lunch time and decided to taste with the cheese pairing first and then order lunch which they serve on Saturday's. Italian varietals dominate the wine list and are expertly paired to go with a specific cheese. The experience was nothing less than special. Standouts to us were the Primitivo and Sangiovese. Wines are priced to purchase and none of them break the bank. Lunch! OMG, the Pizza Gustosissima is nothing short of spectacular. Priced at only $15 and enough for two to share was a pleasant surprise. This pizza was loaded with many of our favorite toppings but they had us at one specific topping, baby artichokes. This was something we had to try and it provided much satisfaction to the 6 of us that shared 3 of these pizza's. Service was outstanding and we had so much fun with our wine educator. Attentive with a remarkable sense of humor she had us in stitches throughout the course of our visit. We can't wait to return to Le Vigne Winery. I've lived in Slo for 6 years and I'm upset I didn't find this winery sooner. Abby did a cheese and wine pairing for us and it's honestly the best pairing I've ever had. I'm collegiately trained in dairy evaluations at Cal Poly and she did beautifully. Le vigne should give this girl a raise. If there were more stars to give, we would give it to them! We were a group of 9 with 5 kids and 4 adults. It was a perfect experience for both the children and the adults. Highly recommend the wine and cheese tasting. Walt was patient and gave utmost attention to us. He explained well, answered all our questions and even brought specials for us to try responding to our interests. They were specially attentive to the kids and entertained them. The wine selections were great and perfectly paired with the cheese. The food was equally great (pizza, pasta and specially the patte). We bought Rose but if we hadn't just bought some wine before we arrived there, we would have bought more. The live music was high quality and blew me away with the selection of their songs. Came here for a private and awesome tasting and tour. Unassuming winery with an amazing stable of incredible wines. This vintner is something special. The wines surprise and delight. The cheese pairing was more than over the top and our guide, Pat, was knowledgable, funny and due to her experience had us all totally captivated. We were even able to meet the vintner and workers.
