Absolutely, positively, lovely. A rustic farm setting complete with a large barn and farmhouse. On a perfect day, Mother's Day, it became complete with fantastic wine (love the Farmhouse Cuvee the most), food truck (serving up an amazing sandwich wrap), and a great Fleetwood Mac cover band (covered stage at the end of a long grass area). Absolutely stunning view, a lively little cow that came out to say hello to us just topped off the visit. Christina, our wine guide was fantastic, she takes us through the wines and let us revisit our favorites. She was so friendly and totally made the trip. We enjoyed playing cornhole and and checking out the vines. I loved every wine they served me. I don't like rosés and their was great. The Bordeaux blend and the petit Sirah were unbelievable! Such a nice vineyard woth tasty wines. We came to their Friday night live music and food truck event and got to try the giranche and rose of grinache. The atmosphere was stellar, the service extremely friendly and welcoming, and the wine top class! Shout out to Larry who let us know we were welcome back anytime because we were so much fun. Wine Club members get extra special perks like being able to stay overnight in their Red Barn for one night. Wine Club Manager Kylee is the best. Ask for her. She will take of you. The coolest winery on the farm! I enjoyed all the cows walking by, the dog friendly vibes, the cool basketball hoops and outside space. Super awesome property. Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of sunshine. I like how the "Rescue Red" went to an animal shelter. We bought a few of those. I also wanted to learn more about the tasting menu, and the history of the place, but no one took the time to share about it. Not like a normal tasting. You basically get a refill at the bar and they pour, you walk away, that's all. That is probably why I did not "shop" as much I do when I visit wineries because I am sold by the history and development of each wine. I would have given this place 3 stars due to their "lack of communication", however, the ambiance and property made up for it. read more

I am a member here and every time I go I fall more and more in love with the place. I love the atmosphere, the dogs Izzy and Gracie, the decor, the stage, just everything. I love the new extended patio also. All the beautiful wood used everywhere is gorgeous! The weather was Amazing! The sommelier is awesome...so friendly and knowledgeable. He makes you at ease and answers any questions you have. Every time I go I just feel like I am apart of something special! I can not wait until we are able to party at the next pick up! We've been a member for 2 years and we couldn't be happier and feel at home with Venteux. A small family boutique winery who are warm and friendly and will pretty much will know and recognize you if you've been there once or two! We live 2 miles away and Venteux has been the place we go to drink wines while our toddlers ran and play. It's honestly the place to take our girls to tire themselves so they can nap. Great wines too! I love that they have a blend that commemorates the street we live in also. The employees, winemakers, even vineyard dogs are the best, we love them all. What a wonderful surprise! New wine friends we met at Four Lanterns recommended Venteux (which means wind), a dry-farmed winery in western Paso Robles. A recent stop unveiled the great wines this small winery is creating. One of my favorites was a Roussanne blend. Normally, white wine is not my preference. But this -- amazing. Across the tasting, all the wines I enjoyed. They are also doing a Pinot Rose, and it's on the skins for three days. Lovely color and depth. Tasting room staff Chris and Jamie are helpful and friendly, and head winemaker Toby, whose profession as a landscaper shows in his care of the grapes and resulting wines. A truly enjoyable experience all the way around. I can't wait to go back. read more

We stopped in for a tasting during a girls trip to the Central Valley on the recommendation of a friend who is a club member and couldn't leave without joining the Venteux wine club ourselves. I cannot say enough great things about the experience at Venteux and especially our tasting guide Terri. We felt laidback and at home on the property and Terri led us through the tasting flight at the perfect pace and took time to explain each wine. Absolutely the best winery and bed and breakfast in all of this region. They have a GMS called Farmhouse Cuvee that I swear is a gateway drug to red wines. My man (who does NOT like reds has become addicted to this wine.. and a few other reds from Venteux. We joined the highest tier wine club and just got our spring shipment. Plus you get a free night of stay and discount on stays sooo... booking a summer trip with 2 other couples and renting the fancy 3 bedroom farmhouse this time!! We stopped there for a tasting on our way to dinner for our Anniversary- my husband ended up tasting because I didn't know that they didn't have any whites- they did have Rose so I had a glass of that- most Wineries will Comp the wine tasting fee if you purchase a bottle of wine, but not here! You have to buy 2 bottles of wine PER tasting to have the fee waived- bottles starting @ $50.00 a bottle! My glass of Rose cost $15.00s- Never again! read more

The grounds of this place is beautiful and it looks like a really cute bed and breakfast. My two friends and I stopped by this place because we were on vacay in Paso Robles and it was walking distance within our AirBnB. Wine tasting is $10, paired with cheese it's $15. We're new to wine tasting so this was our first tasting of the trip. Cheeses are from Vivant Cheeses which all tasted amazing. The lady helping us was polite, but we couldn't help but notice she seemed a little irked that she had to explain all these wines to a bunch of millennials. Especially after we went to two more wineries (Brochelle and Rendarrio) where the wine pourers were a lot more friendly and laid back to a group of new wine tasters. There was an air of stuffiness to the room. There was also a white couple in their late 20s that asked us how old we were right when we walked in. Yes, we're younger than the average wine tasting customer. Can we move on from that? Combine that stuffiness with the fact that we were the only people of color there and it just felt awkward. (Although to be fair, we were the only POCs for a big portion of our trip around Paso) Wine bottles are around $30-$40. I enjoyed the Pinot Noir. This winery prides itself on pure types of wine rather than blends; I think they only had 2 blends. My friend really enjoyed the Raucous which felt like a rebel wine. Lol. We went because of the convenience but I don't think we'd come back. read more

The property was absolutely beautiful! The weather was cold and made tasting a bit challenging, but would for sure recommend stopping by. My wife and I decided to use our 2 for 1 tasting coupon we got from Savor The Sunset about a year ago, today. I'm so glad we stopped by! All of their wines are delicious! We must've had 10 or more that were served by a really nice and knowledgeable gentleman. We also bought a $5 cheese pairing from Vivant Fine Cheese in Paso. I think there were 6 cheeses and all were delicious! My least fav was the midnight moon as it had a goat milk type of taste. The Rosado, Mourvèdre 2012, and the GSM (Farmhouse Cuvee) were my favorites. We ended up buying a bottle of the Rosado. This rosè is superb. It has notes of Hibiscus, strawberry, cherry, and watermelon. An excellent wine to be chilled and served on a warmer day! So pleased with our visit here! I love this winery! The wine...the venue...the people! I just LOVE it! We came here last week while in Paso for a wedding as usual the hosts were just delightful. If you are coming to Paso and have never been here, please bring a light picnic to enjoy with the BEST dry farmed wines in the Valley. Venteux Vineyards is my new favorite winery! Popped in this afternoon and we were warmly greeted by all of the staff. EVERY single wine poured was divine. My favorites were the 2012 Mouvedre, Rosado, and Petit Syrah. Oh and the Cuvée and the cab. Oh and you can't forget the Tennat!!! Oh and..... Well you get the point. We purchased a cheese paring for $5. Tastings are $10 per person. Fee waived with purchase of a bottle. The gentleman that poured for us was such a delight. He must have poured us at least 10 wines! If not more! And he exquisitely explained the complex and individual traits of each wine. Even explained which years were good years in Paso wine country. Venteux is a gem hidden amongst rolling vineyards! If you haven't already made your way, stop by and prepare to be swept off your jammy feet!!!! Plenty of seating space. I'm partial to Northern California wines, but this place won me over immediately!! The staff are all so kind and generous and the wine...OMG! Minerality but fruit forward wine with a perfectly dry finish. Gracie the dog is almost as entertaining as the wine staff. I stopped by Venteux on my way home from work as it is right along my drive. I was so glad I did! First off the tasting menu, its sparkly and caught my eye right away! Only one red blend on the menu which I thought was fascinating! 2014 Fleur Blanc (Viognier Blend), beautiful glass etched bottle! A little different than your average rose' (I liked it) 2013 Pinot Noir - Very good Pinot. I am a Pinot Girl! 2011 Grenache - This was also great, not my fav but delish just the same! 2012 Mourvedre - I died! I could not get enough of this. Everything about it screamed pour me another glass! 2013 Farmhouse Cuvee (GSM Blend) - Great GSM, you wont be disappointed! I love that it says "farmhouse"! 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon - This was silky smooth! Probably #2 for me! 2011 Late Harvest Gewurtztraminer - super delish Late Harvest. Not to be missed! I highly recommend stopping by Venteux, the staff is super friendly, the tasting room is quaint and cozy with nice couches lined against the windows. This was a great find! This place is at the top of my personal comfort zone when it comes to wine tasting purchased but there wasn't a single wine we didn't enjoy here. We started off at Rotta, then Turley and wanted to try something new close by. This one came up with great reviews. I ended up with the estate Cab, Cuvee and Barbera. My friend became a member. Everyone working there was friendly and felt like they were all family (we found out none of them were related) and the space was welcoming. Incredibly hospitable service by a knowledgeable pourer and good wine in an expansive and beautiful setting that happens to be kid-friendly. Our pourer accommodated us outside and highlighted some of the games for our kids to play while we ensured they wouldn't bother anyone; however, in the heat of the midsummer, few guests were here. The wines were good, natural, and priced maybe a little higher than we would have wanted to pay (especially for the white and rose), but the experience outweighed that piece. Overall, the prices are comparable to other westside boutique wineries. This out-of-the-way place is worth a visit, especially if you have kids you can keep an eye on to run across the expanse. read more
