Le Sia Signature Braised Jumbo Shrimp Pot
    Austin L.

This Chinese seafood spot in Hells Kitchen was an excellent dinner spot, with a mix of comfort dishes, fresh seafood, and more. This is what my friend and I got: Virgin Malibu Sunset Virgin Passionfruit Frozen Margarita Scallion Pancake Fish Cake (2 Skewers) Fish Balls (2 Skewers) Chicken Wings (2 Skewers) Garlic Scallop With Vermicelli (2) Dry Fried Green Bean Spicy Mala Fish Fillet Le Sia Signature Braised Jumbo Shrimp Pot Shrimp Noodle White Rice The skewers were also seasoned with saltiness and spice - so yummy! The Scallion Pancakes had the perfect crunch to them. Green beans were addicting and that fish was so tender. I can see why people love the seafood here because the shrimps were fresh and deveined and the spicy hot pot broth was delish. The service was good and quick. You order on an iPad and they brought everything out quickly. It's also quite spacious inside while being narrow at the same time. The bathroom was very clean and they had mouthwash too.

I was influenced to try this place on Instagram, which happens very rarely for me, but decided to try this place out anyway. We didn't have a reservation but we walked in at around 6 pm on a weekday with no problem. They were fast to take our order and fast to deliver our order as well which is great! - Mongolian Style Grilled Beef - But like why was this genuinely so good? The beef was incredibly tender and flavor with the cumin spices and went very well with the rice. I did wish the onions were tenderized just a bit more but they worked very well to counteract the meaty flavors of the beef. This dish made me so happy as it felt like I was eating authentic Chinese cuisine. - Lamb Skewers - Could skip. Although the lamb was good, I felt like there wasn't enough meat on each stick. - Dough Drop Soup - I thought this would be more similar to tomato and egg soup but it was definitely a thicker consistency with way more flavors which was very cool. I even liked the dough drops in the soup as it didn't feel particularly heavy with carbs which was great. Overall, I will definitely come back! Yes, the food is a bit more on the expensive side, but the flavors make it worth it!

Over 2 years ago, I've raved about Le Sia and its foods and I'm glad to say that they've consistent since. Tasty authentic flavours with good value, this restaurant has become a go to favourite for me. A dinner meal that I would typically pay for any other restaurant nearby, I am able to bring home leftovers for a whole another sitting with flavours that remain. For those who like spicy and bold flavours, this is the spot for you. Taste: 5/5 Service: 4/5 - staff is quite attentive! Ambiance: 4/5 - recently renovated, setting is not bad Value for money: 5/5 Things I'd recommend: 1) Skewers: Beef cartilage, enoki mushrooms, pork belly or chives (these pack very nice seasoned Chinese grill bbq flavours) 2) Spicy pots: My go to is the pork intestine with chicken, there's enough here for two sittings for two people! 3) Homemade plum juice: for 7.99 you get a pitcher that feeds two people, normally most restaurants charge you 8-10 for a glass these days for beverages... 4) Pork shank with spicy green pepper: quite spicy but the richness from the fatty pork mixed with the peppers made this wonderful Food is great, if you can handle spice, go try it!

    Happy diners.

Wonderful and warm. Perfect for winter. We had Lesia house special hot pot with shrimp for two people. It was wonderful the soft potatoes in the broth soaked up the rich broth. The green beans in garlic and Szechuan pepper came out perfectly. This place is full of Asians that know excellent food. They store your overcoats in large plastic bags by your table so they don't get slated on. This meal does get sloppy. The Zusu cheesecake had a hint of lemon and surprised us since we don't like normally like cheesecake.

My huge family came here after the place we were going to go to wasn't wheelchair accessible. Le Sia was able to accommodate and they were having their grand re-opening! Super newly renovated, and we were in this semi private back room which was very nice. We got a lot of stuff, but all of it was delicious. The one thing you should know about Le Sia is that they love VINEGAR. Big vinegar users in that kitchen-- we got vinegar on the cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, peanuts, everything. Most times it was great, but sometimes they were a bit heavy handed. My dad ordered everything so I have literally no idea what we ordered, but I took pictures of the highlights. First of all, these peanuts. Why were they so good. I don't know. We were such big peanut fans across the table. These SKEWERS TOO. INSANELY well spiced and delicious. I thought this fried rice also was super fresh and tasted kind of like the rice you get at teppanyaki, which I'm a personal huge fan of. All in all, SUCH a solid choice for Chinese!

The place is solid! The owner is from Beijing so they offer many good Beijing food options. We had lamb and Beijing bronze hot pot. It was very delicious. Service was solid. The place was decorated in Chinese style. Recommend it for everyone.

The wok-fried string beans and bbq skewers were my fav!! There were plenty of seatings and the staff members were helpful. Nice Chinese restaurant in Hell's Kitchen.

I've only ordered delivery from here once. I like that I can get something different from the ordinary. I got some lamb skewers, stinky tofu and Chinese jambalaya (which is basically fried rice lol). Everything was solid. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for some authentic items or some Asian fusion. They definitely offer both.

This spot is quite popular, so you may encounter a wait at times. We came on a Wednesday night around 8pm and were seated right away. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and the staff is genuinely friendly. We tried the salted egg shrimp, grilled lamb, and a variety of skewers--all of which were excellent. I appreciated that none of the dishes were overly oily or salty, perfectly matching my taste. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for satisfying, family-style Chinese cuisine.

Wowowoowowwo for the lamb skewers! I ordeee it on Uber eats and it's sooo good! Imagine the taste if I dined in! I didn't ask for any substitution or seasoning and actually felt like it was a good thing since I could taste the authentic taste of the skewers . A lot of times when things are over seasoned it's either not fresh or it just over powers the original taste of the food itself

Very enjoyable dinner. We ordered small quantities and plates to share. Our favorite was the green beans. We also enjoyed the garlic roasted oysters. Squid skewers were good as was the lamb brisket. Grilled eggplant was too garlicky. Also, seems that every dish is loaded with oregano? Good service and most reasonably priced!

The food here was quite delicious. The service was attentive, and it wasn't too crowded on a random Wednesday evening. The ambiance was quiet, and not super flashy which I liked. Skewers (6/10): We got the lamb, beef, and gizzard skewers. The skewers here had good seasoning on them and the meat had good texture. The flavor was a bit too sweet and they weren't hot, which was somewhat disappointing. Shrimp Seafood Boil (8/10): This was the best dish that we got. We had a huge amount of shrimp that only cost 19$, which was the best part. We added corn into the seafood boil, and the flavors paired with the corn well. Dry Fried Green Bean (7/10): These were a solid choice. The flavor was there and I liked the texture. Sesame Cold Noodles (6/10): Like the skewers, these were strangely too sweet even for this dish. I like the overall flavor, but the sweetness was too much for me.

3 things about this place: 1. Heard this place had authentic Chinese hot pot and skewers that you had to make reservations or wait in line. Decided to try this place to see how it was and if it was worth the hype. After ordering, the workers brought out the hot pot broth within 30 seconds and turned on the burner so the hot pot starts to boil. 2. Hot pot with various ingredients along with beef skewers and enoki mushrooms wrapped in pork belly skewers were ordered. Hot pot ingredients were sliced beef, enoki mushrooms, bok choy, fish cakes, and Chinese glass noodles. Everything was fresh and couldn't have asked for better ingredients. 3. Server kept checking on how everything was and if there was anything else that was needed. Ordered additional sliced beef and enoki mushrooms and they came out fast. One negative comment about this place is that they rush you to leave so they can sit new customers and I did NOT like that. I understand that the restaurant is busy and they want new customers, but it's not professional to stare at previous customers that literally just paid. Overall, I'd come back for the food but would not want to experience what I experienced before

This is exactly the kind of place that works well when you need something fast but still high quality. Service stood out. Jeanine was excellent; she quickly understood our time constraint, guided us to the right dishes, and kept everything moving without making it feel rushed. At one point we accidentally put a plastic menu over a lit candle, and she handled it immediately and made the moment feel light rather than awkward. The atmosphere was lively and full; the place was packed, but it still felt organized rather than chaotic. The bar looked well stocked, and the overall ambience worked well for a pre-train, Times Square-adjacent stop. Food was solid, with a few standouts. The salmon tartare with sesame crackers was excellent; clean, fresh, and well balanced. Jeanine recommended the shrimp avocado sliders, and that was the right call; they were outstanding. Happy hour oysters were fresh and well balanced. Littleneck clams were good, though slightly less compelling than the oysters. The fish tacos were good but not particularly memorable. Fried calamari was well executed, though the accompanying sauce could have used a little more flavor. The hot sauce, assuming it is made in house, was excellent and added a much better punch to the seafood. Drinks from the happy hour menu, including the Pink Flamingo and margarita, were good and consistent. I would come back to try more from the main menu. If you like seafood, this is a strong option for the price point and location, especially during happy hour.

I find it oftentimes to be overpriced, coming with a lot of bells and whistles and lacking in flavor compared to Little Thailand in Queens where I grew up. This place is an exception! From beginning to end everything was excellent. The pork belly was the perfect temperature of warm, tender, a bit acidic/sour (YUM), and so delightful. I can see why many reviews recommend it. The crab curry was so nice and clean and fresh. The crab was so tender, and the curry strong, and went beautifully with the rice. It's actually such a sleeper hit, and we added it onto our order last minute. The steamed branzino was delicious, too - tender, limey, sour, sweet, a little heat - it's got everything!!
