This is probably the best cocktail bar in the north west you've never been to! Hidden away…read morealongside Wakiki on watergate street my first visit here was short lived as fashionable lateness had cost me last orders. Howevver we promptly returned the week after and immediately fell in love with the place. What an incredible experiance. First thing you notice is the size of the place. (Tiny) It genuinely feels like a hidden bar from the prohibition era with incredible decor and music that suits the Blues/Jazzy environment to perfection. Being here is like traveling back in time to the 20's when alcohol was illegal and small secret bars like these were littered across America. The theme is consistent with the menu hidden inside a book that's handed to you upon arrival. So mesmerized were we with the vibe and conversation the cocktail taste bud memories are hazy at best. (I'll leave you with a visual of the cocktails we had. One was lemon based the other strawberry based?) This is THE perfect place for those who like sophisticated conversation with your aptly aesthetic cocktails. It's not noisey, it's not busy, it's just right. Definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be returning.

My one criticism would be that may be the music is too loud but that's that's it. They have an extensive cocktail menu however if there's something not on the menu just asked for it and you will receive. All in all, this is one of my favourite places to go in Chester

It contains a mock-up of a launderette just off Birmingham's Gas Street. What's not to like?! When you see how realistic the laundrette is you know that this is going to be a super fun evening! You won't be able to resist taking taking photos because it is so bizarre. Upon entering the bar you come into a really cool area which is split into lots of different of quirky themes with bird cages, funky chairs and guess what games boards dotted everywhere - yes it's a bar but feels like the coolest hangout ever. You will find an eclectic cocktail menu full of wonderful concoctions served in tin cans, tea cups and mason jars. The bartender was super accommodating and in creating two delicious mocktails especially for us. Be sure to check out the happy hour deal which is one 5-7pm. What's great is that this place was not busy for a Friday night, maybe because people don't know about it, so you could quite hideaway for a few hours. Looking forward to heading back here soon. Note to self - this place has a couch. *happy dance*

It feels magical in the way that only a speakeasy bar can. The bar itself doesn't disappoint; the interior inside is super slick and definitely well thought out. Inside the tunes are a mix of electro swing and upbeat jazzy numbers. This bar is a really fun place to be and I imagine, as the night goes on, that it would be oh so easy to lose track of both time and cocktails. My band recently played music here as part of the Birmingham Jazz and Blues festival and it was really great to play in such a unique venue. Next time I'm in Birmingham, cocktails in Suds & Duds will surely be on my agenda!
