When you pay to get in you have a choice - pay £1.00 to get in and then pay for your drinks as normal. pay £11.00 to get in but you basically get every drink free! What with me being a greedy student I opted for the £11.00 deal (which my friends somehow didnt know about even though they had all been before and I hadnt!) The free drinks thing was great although I wish I'd drank less in the previous bar and saved up all my drinking power for here so it made it better value :) It was still amazing value. I was ordering drinks I'd never tried before and I didnt care if I decided I didnt like it because then I could give it to one of my friends (who thought I was being generous and nice) and then get myself another drinkand if I did like it - bonus! The whole place was quite dark. Downstairs they played good music so my whole group just piled onto the dance floor so thats there a stayed the whole night. I did venture upstairs 2ce for a look around. The first time I made it to the top of the stairs, thats where I came face to face with some munted girls dancing in a cage?!? what the hell?!? either way, I decided to just go back to the downstairs dance floor. The second time I went to go upstairs I made it past the cage and onto the dance floor. They play way heavier rock music - so if you fancy a bit of a mosh then perfectbut wearing heels? go downstairs! The toilets were rank. So although I dont actually remember I thinks its pretty safe to say (because toilets are a great measure of cleanliness) that this place is pretty dirty. But fun non the less.

Nice, trendy bar in Wolverhampton city centre. This place tends to get a different clientele from…read moresome of the other bars in Wolverhampton. Its very relaxed and chilled. Rarely that busy which is a shame, as it can feel a bit dead in there sometimes. Friendly staff. The music tends to be very good - more on the side of electro, d n b, as opposed to the 'cheesier' music and rock that is more common in Wolverhampton. I know they do food in the day, which I remember is very reasonable. Not sure what time that goes on till at night. Overall a really nice place if you want a relaxed few drinks and none of the more 'laddish' behaviour in other places. They do very good cocktails as well, but I think they can be quite expensive.

A bit hit 'n' miss at Quadrant. No review by Wolves Councils…read moreScores on the doors yet but I'll edit when it happens. I've been a couple of times for specific nights such as the fairly new Jambay evening and thoroughly enjoyed myself where I've been for a specific reason with friends whilst drinks offers have been running. Where it has missed is when I've turned up on the hop and just popped in unless you're in there for a reason with friends it just isn't at all homely and depending on what you drink, can be a bit pricey too. There are certainly worse places in Wolverhampton but better places if you're out on a bar crawl if they are holding an event that appeals to you and you aren't too fussy about what you drink in order to take advantage of the offers I'd recommend having a peek otherwise, there are better alternatives.

Where…read moreelse can you go in Wolverhampton that is stylish, comfortable, welcoming, and has luxurious facilities inside and out. This place has it all, the food is really good and they are adding new dishes to the menu all the time I know this as I've been going down since it re-opened. It's right by the bus and train stations, & near the theatre so it's really handy for me. They will cater for your group or business party and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are lovely. I've used their facilities a few times now for business meetings, getting my staff together over lunch etc. and we are making it a regular feature because it's not overly expensive but the quality of the food is excellent and it's served with care. As far as a night out goes, my partner is really fussy & normally avoids the city at night but I managed to convince him to come along with me. The first time we went it was with the intention of chilling out early evening with a bottle of wine, the weather was good and we started off sitting outside on the terrace which is really tastefully done, quite mediterranean, nice sofas etc, and when we got hungry we just ordered some food which was served to us at our table, they do not rush you out, you can relax and enjoy a full evening where in most places you are out in 1.5 hours max. Here our 'chill out' evening stretched on till we became part of the late night scene as crowds of people started to arrive for what was clearly going to be a proper night out. Not having been part of the clubbing scene for quite some time we didn't really know what to expect so we were a bit apprehensive at first, but the whole night turned out fantastic in the end, & we even bumped in to some friends there, we were really impressed with the kind of clientele it attracts and the glam party atmosphere. The cocktails are fabulous, and the place has a real buzz to it, we also felt safe. I've always felt a lot more could be done in Wolverhampton and this venue is proving me right.

It has potential, it wants to be an upmarket restaurant but it isn't quite there yet…read more After finally finding the restaurant, enter the door, turn to the bar on the right and the door is in just past the bar, we were welcomed to out seats. Menus given to us and we were left alone to decide. The menu is limited, that's not necessary a bad thing. What was on offer can be a risky however, they have to be cooked to perfection to pull them off. We had a few questions about some of the mains and drinks. The reply from the waitress was "I have no idea", she fetched another waitress to help, and the reply was "I don't know". We just wanted to know what the mains are served with, as my friend cannot eat eggs; our other question was what was in a cocktail on the menu. Once we ordered service was prompt. Before our order cam we had a complimentary starter. Unfortunately it wasn't cooked well, so decided it may be the chef trying something out so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We went for 24 hour slow cooked pork for our main. The slow cooked pork was tough, and different cuts of pork served with it were cooked within an inch of its life. The venue and atmosphere is lovely and clean. Staff very friendly. If they can work on staff knowledge, iron out a few problems with the food, they are on to a winner. Phone signal was poor so wi-fi would be helpful. Also, for the price I'd like a few other services such as coat checking, better chairs and tables.

I used to come here as a child so it's got to be at least 35 years ago since I last came here!…read moreMy dad used to roll a coin on the bar to show us how slanted it was. I have to say...I think it's even more slanted than I remember! You really do walk sideways, always gives you a giggle trying to get to the bar. It's dog friendly too so we brought Charlie! Had a lovely Sunday dinner, for three of us plus drinks came to under £50 which wasn't bad at all. The food took around 45 minutes but well worth the wait. Beautiful surroundings and all round lovely vibes. My only complaint was the waitress seemed very stressed and forgetful and the service was sooooo slow. I went back in for a packet of pork scratchings to take home but four people waiting and no one manning the bar I gave up after 5 minutes lol. Need more staff or better trained ones!
