Bleu Cheese Burger with Bacon and an IPA.
    Alland B.

I came here because of the BBQ cheddar burger posted by 'Olivier L.'. That being said, I ordered the bleu cheese burger with bacon because few things go together better than a bleu veined cheese and beef. Also bacon. The burger hardly looked as amazing as the one in the photo, but it was still delicious. The bun was amazing, the meat perfectly cooked at medium rare and very flavorful, the bleu not overwhelming. The fries were REALLY good as well. I could see myself coming back and ordering the large bowl of fries, no doubt. The service was SUPER fast and VERY friendly. My only critique is that the bacon was hardly present. I was really sad about that. A far cry from Olivier's photo. I don't usually complain about food unless there's something REALLY wrong with it, but were I a bit more fussy I would have said something. I would definitely come back if I was hanging out in the 18th again. Oh yeah the IPA is pretty damn decent.

Hands down the best burger I've ever had in Paris. The Brioche-style bun is delicious and doesn't disintegrate as you hold it. The cheese is properly melted all over (I had the Tom Burger), the beef patty is good (asked for mine rosé/medium rare, and they delivered) and the extra bacon was actually great and chunky. Aside from the Burger, the generously served homemade fries were amazing and so was their bearnaise-like sauce. I couldn't believe they offer free refills on fries but we had so much we barely finished our bowl. Drink-wise I was happily surprised to see a Brooklyn Lager logo when I stepped in. My friend at an Edelweiss (solid German white beer) and I had a solid Caïpirinha even though I prefer mine on the sweeter side. The cocktail menu looked good. For appetizers we had the cheesy nachos with fresh guacamole. It was served with lime and tasted great. Finally the dessert menu wasn't neglected (a rare thing in burger joints) with a deliciously fluffy & creamy cheesecake with berry sauce. I had a chocolate sorbet & lime sorbet. Dark & intense chocolate and bitter lime, so good. I wanted to try their Panna Cotta but there will certainly be a next time so I'll save it. I've always liked this location even with the previous restaurant but they've managed to bring the best out of it with outdoor seating and the bar in front. It doesn't leave much room for indoor seating so make sure to have a reservation if you're bringing more than two people. Looks & decoration-wise I was impressed too. Great colors, typography & general style. It's as if my home neighborhood found itself through a cosmopolitan prism. This is definitely influenced by American eateries but there's something typically 18ème about it that I love.

    Nachos?

The best burger I have ever eaten in my life. And I'm from Texas. We stayed out in this area on a whim, but were really glad we did. Stumbled upon this place and we have been talking about it ever since!

After a long walk through the shops of Bastille, our feet got tired, and craved a good burger. Mapped out "best burger in town" and this spot popped up, with the label on the door reading "The Best Burger in Town". Pierre hooked it up with some good service. They had an English menu available via QR code... thank goodness. My hubs had the Clakos Burger, this month special served with Camembert Au Lait Cru, some good ass cheese from Normandy. It takes a lot to get to the depth of my husbands belly and make him smile after a good meal, but this burger had him pleased. Few good pointers from him: loved the red bell peppers in it, the bread was so soft and fresh, the meat was flavorful, and the cheese was outstanding. My son had a plain cheeseburger-- his points were: the meat was so good, and flavorful all around. A 5 out of 5 coming from a 7 year old. I had the chicken nuggets. 6 pcs for 7€. Not to shabby, and they served it with a choice of barbecue sauce and or sweet and sour sauce. Yum. This location was small, and easy to miss. Just look for a small door and window. The size of a hallway, there are four tables with comfortable seating inside. And a hand wash sink up at the front from All the burger juice that will drip down your hands as you devour. We learned they have 4 locations, one owner, and the bread is cooked fresh daily. Definitely will be back on our next trip!
