Stumbled upon this Jewish deli not too far from the Eiffel Tower. Originally I thought it was the Schwarz deli from Montreal but alas it was not. They did specialize in pastrami and I got a Reuben on rye which was very good. It was very thin sliced I would have preferred thick sliced but we are in France after all. The coleslaw was excellent and service was impeccable. The place was super clean and the serving staff was very kind and spoke English. My only complaint was the fries were soggy and they need to work on their formula to make them crispier. With such a great pastrami sandwich I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the fries. Other than that minor disappointment everything else lived up to expectations and was excellent. Next time I would probably try the straight pastrami and not the Reuben. read more

Tables are close together so be prepared to be elbow to elbow with your dining neighbors but the food was great! This was our first stop in Paris bc it was highly rated and close to our hotel. The mozzarella sticks and hot pastrami sandwich were delicious! Cheesy, salty, meaty goodness! The bread for the pastrami sandwich was the perfect texture chewy yet pillowy. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was bustling as though we were in NYC. They tried hard in English but the QR code for the English language menu didn't work. Neither did the internet. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed. The staff is friendly and efficient, and keep on top of things so there's a consistent turnover without feeling rushed. The burgers are absolutely gargantuan, something the average person would struggle to finish unless you have a very big appetite. We got the stracciatella burger, the portobello burger, the veggie burger, and the Reuben. The burgers were all a little undercooked by US standards, so I recommend accounting for that when ordering. The stracciatella was probably the favorite, with the cherry tomato purée it was the best balance of different flavors. The portobello burger had a mushroom the same size as the burger and topped with a nice tart cheese. The veggie burger was ok, but looked and tasted like a high end mass-prepped and frozen patty rather than something made there. The Reuben was absolutely massive, with thinly sliced pastrami, carmalized onions adding a little sweetness. The waiter gave us a mix of fries and salad which was nice, as the half portion of fries was plenty for each of us. A fun place to stop, it's great for kids, and you will definitely not leave hungry! read more

Our family loved this place, the Schwartz at Trocadéro. We came upon it by accident. We were looking for a food market in the area, and came upon this place. We passed by it at first but I said to my wife that if we don't find a food market, we should go back there, to Schwartz'. Well, we found a food market, but they didn't quite have what we were looking for. We bought some food, but Schwartz stuck in my mind as a fun place with happy customers, so, we ended up going back to it anyway. And we are so glad we did! The kids were especially​ happy as it turned out to be American food​ but cooked with a French flair​e. The kids especially missed American food. But I have to say, Schwartz' did burgers shakes and fries much better than most American places! I never get a shake back home that makes the whole family go "whoa!" and "ohhhh" and we have to take a picture. Could the shake match up to it's looks? YES! And surpassed it. What's funny, is we only ordered one, but after tasting that first one, we instantly​ ordered two more. We also had the most delicious​ Ceasar Salad. I really like Schwartz's. I recently went to the one at Trocadéro and the service was so bubbly and friendly. It really was refreshing. I must say that it gets PACKED around "French" lunchtime, so I suggest getting there when they open and you are all set! I was bummed they only did eggs on the weekends, but I must say I just loved the chicken burger! On the pricy side, but LARGE portions. Nice servers but disorganized and inefficient even when they were no longer busy. If you come from the US thinking the corned beef will taste like back home you'll be disappointed. The corned beef was inedible with a strong fennel flavor. The charcuterie board was unappealing and we had to ask several times before they remembered to bring a basket of bread (was stale). I've been there severals times when I was living in Paris since years the concept and quality haven't changed. Here is the concept, no reservations and if your all party isn't there you can't seat at a table. They do offer a large choice of burgers and salad, they are open daily lunch and dinner but the ambiance at dinner is from an other world so I recommend it. All the food they are serving is kosher, and you can mix match some ingredients if you need to. They do not have valet parking but they do delivery by deliveroo app! I came across Schwartz's Deli on Yelp while sight seeing in the Trocadero area of Paris. Yelp had great reviews for this restaurant which was the reason why we stopped by. My wife had a burger with blue cheese while I had the Pastrami sandwich and cheese sticks. I was kinda of disappointed by the sauce that the pastrami was cooked in while my wife thought her burger was only ok, the cheese sticks were good though. The overall experience and food was "decent" the main reason I list this place as a 2 star was the price - we paid over 60 euros for our meal. I am a frequent traveler and I know you will pay a little bit more when dining in "tourist restaurants" but this price was steep by all standards, I would not recommend this location just based on the "bang for buck" standard. read more

I was super disappointed I wasted money going here. I had heard so many great things about Schwartz's. I may have enjoyed the food more had the manager not been so rude. One person in our party was late and tried to order food. The manager told him no that he could only order food to go and that we had to get up and leave because there were people waiting to be seated. Mind you, there were 6 people in our group each ordering an entire meal (not sharing one meal as some of the other guests were doing) so they were not losing money on our table. I live in the area and have guests frequently at my house. I will advise them to spend their money at the Hard Rock where the burgers are better and the service is FAR better. read more
