This place is solid. Lots of seating available and the staff are the some of the most professional I have encountered in Paris. The drink options have close to anything you may want between soda, spritzer, coffee, cocktails and wine. The food menu is not necessarily exciting but they do it well. My ravioli in cream sauce was seasoned well and the crispy chicken on my husband's Ceasar was very crisp without the chicken being dry. What was exceptional was we were given water, our server paid attention and knew when we were ready to order, the drinks and food were delivered hot and fast, and to my shock, our guy checked in to make certain everything was okay and nothing else was needed. If you are traveling and tired and just need someone to take care of a meal this place is the real deal. read more

Glad we stopped. Though it was really busy, they go us seated quickly. The service was awesome. The ambiance was fine for how crowded it was. I had the French onion soup and it was the best I'd ever had. My friends liked their food too. They also had lemon cello which seems to be very hard to find...and they had a drink with it and Prosecco. This is one of my favorite drinks. The crème brûlée was excellent. read more

We walk about 6 hours after we arrive here in PARIS from London and I just arrive from NYC we got serve with a nice staff and our waiter is one of the best, he is the nicest and very friendly About the food is really good the chicken is boneless and taste really, really good , the red meat is super delicious the sides is soooo yummy. If you are a Yelp happy traveler you can already see that the Yelp hand is weak in Paris. So this is my contribution to make Yelp Paris a little stronger. This place was our first cafe dining experience in Paris. We decided upon it mostly because of its location so close to the metro. Man we lucked out! The staff not only spoke English but provided great friendly service. They took the time to eloquently decipher the menu and their wines. I decided on the Foie gras steak. A nice piece of meat topped with a thick slice of buttery foie gras. mmmmmmmmmmm perfect! The slice of foie gras on the steak probably equated to 4 or 5 times the portion size that I would have gotten if I ordered the same dish stateside. Since we were on holiday, we opted for a slice of house tiramisu for dessert. Lovely, lovely goodness!. One of the best that I have had to date. By far one of the best dining experiences that we had on this trip. The awesome service made good food great!. Tourists eat with confidence. read more

I wish my husband and I had eaten here earlier in our trip! We could have eaten here every meal! So delicious!! We decided to order some Nutella Crepes from the stand section of the restaurant- on the way back to our hotel. Fast service and DELICIOUS crepes! It was conveniently located near our hotel and had great outdoor and indoor seating. There were always people here- which is a sign of a good restaurant. The best thing about my meal was the free bread. HOW is this possible? My salmon didn't taste like anything, the pasta was just boiled and it also didn't taste like anything and the Coca Cola wasn't really coca because it was too sweet (tasted like Pepsi). Eh... Came here for drinks one night on our way back to the hotel. As soon as we exited the metro station, we crossed the street and took a seat. Ordered two beers for €20! European beer prices make me sad. Especially because they never pour off the foam so by the time your beers are delivered, there's a good 1" of air sitting on top of your beer. We sat outside underneath the heaters, which was nice. If I were a smoker, I think I would thoroughly enjoy the experience of sitting outside with my beer on a chilly night, but not feeling cold at all. read more

A good but busy brasserie in the 15th. Decent food, good portions, reasonable prices. A few tips: Don't sit by the windows if you are sensitive to smoke - they do nothing to block the smell. The servers also seem very busy, covering large sections of the restaurant. My mom and I were looking for a place that wasn't too expensive but had food she would be more willing to eat (despite what she wants to argue, she would be the pickier person in a Parisian restaurant). We'd walked by Le Pierrot a billion times, and it was usually pretty packed. They had a 3 course formula, so we went with that. Both of us had the same first two courses. We started with vegetable soup, which was different from what I'm used to, in a very good way. It was pureed, but still a bit chunky, although you could not tell what any vegetable was. It was a green color, maybe because of peas, but it was delicious all around. Next we had skirt steak with pepper sauce. Skirt steak is one of my favorite kinds of steak, and they put a lot on that plate. It came with a small salad and potatoes that resemble the cut and preparation of patatas bravas tapas, minus any sort of sauce. I may have attempted to eat everything. And of course there was dessert. My mom went with chocolate mousse, which was to my surprise dark chocolate. I had a slice of the tart du jour - strawberry. It was amazing. It was the best dessert I had from one of these formulas. Our server was an adorable older man who was probably one of the nicest ones I had in all of Paris despite somewhat of a language barrier. This restaurant was a couple buildings away from our hotel we came to sit outside and have a drink. We ordered two beers, albeit very expensive that came out to 12 USD per beer. I guess we didn't know what we were ordering because they were not normal beers, but fizzy almost and sweet. Can't recall the name of the style, but I admit it was a bit refreshing. Best part was our waiter, who had a goofy personality and at the end of the night he hopped on his motorcycle still beaming as he drove off. My favorite part is the owner or manager made dang sure a man walking around the area screaming in French stayed far away from his patrons outside. read more

Honestly we did not have a bad meal while we were in Paris. This cafe was equally good to most of the other places we dropped into on a whim. We had supper here one evening as it was a short walk from our Airbnb. My brother and brother-in-law both had the steak and frites. The steak was good-sized, if you're into that sort of thing. I had the salmon with tagliatelle and it was delicious. It was cooked the fish equivalent of medium rare. If you had told me this ahead of time, I would've turned up my nose and said i preferred it medium or even more cooked. But this taught me a valuable lesson that overcooking fish is not always a good idea. It was tender and moist and very tasty. Service was decent and server was friendly; spoke more English than I did French, so everything went smoothly. read more

I live across the street. This cafe is very popular among the locals. The food is good, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the wait staff is nice. It's usually pretty packed on nice evenings, but you're not likely to have to wait. Was originally looking for a restaurant that was no more in the same street, so I went into Café le Pierrot instead. A good benchmark in any unknown restaurant for me is the Hamburger. And yes, this spot offers a great burger. I'll visit again. read more
