Ate here three (3) times. The differnet steaks are great. The staff are so nice. The food is great. The Tuna is wonderful. Prices a decent.

Glad we stopped. Though it was really busy, they go us seated quickly. The service was awesome. The ambiance was fine for how crowded it was. I had the French onion soup and it was the best I'd ever had. My friends liked their food too. They also had lemon cello which seems to be very hard to find...and they had a drink with it and Prosecco. This is one of my favorite drinks. The crème brûlée was excellent.

If you are a Yelp happy traveler you can already see that the Yelp hand is weak in Paris. So this is my contribution to make Yelp Paris a little stronger. This place was our first cafe dining experience in Paris. We decided upon it mostly because of its location so close to the metro. Man we lucked out! The staff not only spoke English but provided great friendly service. They took the time to eloquently decipher the menu and their wines. I decided on the Foie gras steak. A nice piece of meat topped with a thick slice of buttery foie gras. mmmmmmmmmmm perfect! The slice of foie gras on the steak probably equated to 4 or 5 times the portion size that I would have gotten if I ordered the same dish stateside. Since we were on holiday, we opted for a slice of house tiramisu for dessert. Lovely, lovely goodness!. One of the best that I have had to date. By far one of the best dining experiences that we had on this trip. The awesome service made good food great!. Tourists eat with confidence.

I wish my husband and I had eaten here earlier in our trip! We could have eaten here every meal! So delicious!! We decided to order some Nutella Crepes from the stand section of the restaurant- on the way back to our hotel. Fast service and DELICIOUS crepes! It was conveniently located near our hotel and had great outdoor and indoor seating. There were always people here- which is a sign of a good restaurant. I was surprised with the prices- as they were GREAT. You definitely get your moneys worth!!

Delicious food and great service. We stopped here in spur of moment and enjoyed a delicious sandwich, French onion soup and coffee afterwards. Everything was good!

The best thing about my meal was the free bread. HOW is this possible? My salmon didn't taste like anything, the pasta was just boiled and it also didn't taste like anything and the Coca Cola wasn't really coca because it was too sweet (tasted like Pepsi). With so many good restaurants around, skip this and find something else!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

There are two tables essentially in the kitchen (a true "Chef's Table" arrangement) and maybe 6 tables in the adjoining room. We were welcomed warmly. Deborah was the hostess and server. Chef Hugo is visible in the kitchen, working very hard to make everything just perfect. They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

After waiting in line, I expected something truly memorable, but it turned out to be just a good sandwich, nothing more. If you happen to pass by when there's little or no queue, it's worth trying. We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.
