Decided to try this place for the first time today. We came in around 10 a.m. on a Sunday, and it was busy. The place is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor seating, which we didn't mind. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I decided to try the smoked salmon Benedict, which is my usual go-to for breakfast. It was pretty standard, though it had less salmon than what I'm used to. I also ordered an iced hazelnut latte, which was just okay. My daughter had the Nutella crepes. She seemed to enjoy them but mentioned she would try something different next time. We were seated pretty fast for a Saturday morning. We got a variety of different things, I personally ordered the stuff French toast. It was tasty, but I do wish it would have been a little bit more stuffed. Pancakes were really good. Spring drink menu was good too. I did like the Dolce de Leche cold brew. I like the variety in the menu and would like to try the strawberry matcha lemonade. This spot is one of the better breakfast spots we have tried on this trip. We'll probably be back one more time before we leave for our trip. read more

5 Stars - Great breakfast, great service My family recently went to Le Peep at Pepperwood, and it was a really great experience. Our server was a young high school-aged guy who was clearly pretty new, but he was fantastic. You could tell he really wanted to do a good job. It was a little awkward at times, but in the best way possible--he genuinely cared and was trying hard to get everything right. That kind of effort is refreshing to see. As for the food, Le Peep delivers every time. I'm a big fan of their breakfast burrito. This time it was maybe a little heavy on the beans, but honestly that's just me being picky. Overall, the breakfast there is consistently excellent. The service was great, the drinks were great too. My daughter ordered a mocha drink and they did a really nice job with it. If you're looking for a solid go-to breakfast spot, this is definitely one of them. It wasn't overly busy when we went, which was nice. The only thing to note is that it can get a little loud inside, but that seems to be the case with most Le Peep locations because of the way they're set up. Came here for brunch a few days ago and thought it was pretty solid. I had the breakfast tacos and they were alright - they tasted like something I could probably make at home just as well. Le Peep is a must-stop every time. The service is always great, and we're usually able to get seated pretty quickly. They have lots of coffee options, and the lattes are so good -- the lavender honey latte is one of my favorites. Late breakfast with the family and I had their Spiced Lavender Chai and their Nutella Crepes. Any time I had a spiced chai, it would always taste like it had too much cinnamon, but their chai was so smooth and the lavender added the most rich flavor to it. Now it may be because I haven't had Nutella in a while but it was delicious. It had the right amount of spread, it was overfilling, just evenly spread out, topped with ACTUAL fresh fruit. The restaurant was a little crowded for me but the staff were so friendly. I don't remember our waitress name but she was so kind and doubled checked with the kitchen when two of our meals were taking a while to come out. The kids like Le Peep, so we've been going. Not keen about the latest trip. Hot chocolate special, $2.99, which our server told us about. Trish orders hot chocolate for herself and the kids. "Would you like child size hot chocolates for the kids?" Sure, says Trish, to the consternation of our son. Bill comes and the hot chocolate special was only for adult-sized hot chocolate. Kids were $4.59 each. Did not comment on the spot as kids were not happy and it was time to go. Charging $4.59 for half-sized when full-sized was $2.99, after having pushed us to the half-sized, was not customer friendly service. Contacted Le Peep when we got home. We had a great experience at Le peep! I haven't been here in years, and now I'm not so sure why I waited a long time to come back. The service was great, everyone was really helpful, quick to return with things and friendly. Their portions are huge, so order on the light side. Their pancakes are bigger than your uncle Bob's huge noggin. They are also some of the most flavorful pancakes I have ever tasted, just by themselves. And then the hot syrup and butter... Perfection. A couple other items came with our breakfast: smoky bacon, perfectly soft scrambled eggs, and snappy sausage. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the amount that you get. My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on March 30th. We arrived about an hour before closing and dining room was full yet we were sat right away. This Le Peep was quieter than others we've been to so we liked that. It was also more open and bright like European cafes we've visited. Our server was new and awesome but I don't remember the young man's name. Even though he was busy he would still pause and just visit even if for a few seconds. We started by sharing a cinnamon roll. It was very good (but our favorite cinnamon roll is still at a little cafe with a farmhouse feel on 84th. :) ). We each got a cafe mocha, hot and chocolatey, perfect. I had the Rueben and would put it in the top of some of the best I've had. Wife had the Stuffed French Toast, loved it. Will be back but going to try out a different location next. read more

I walked in with a coffee, my mistake. The woman at the front stated that Le Peep will not tolerate the presence of outside beverages. She proceeded to give me one of their cups to transfer my coffee into. Another woman came by and collected to previous cup. The women obviously didn't care about my experience and the whole ordeal made me incredibly uncomfortable. I'd advise any future customers to read their policy diligently beforehand. In the meantime, I hope they learn to show people a little grace. read more

The overall restaurant is a bit chaotic and clustered. while waiting we kept feeling like we were in the way since the waiting area was where people paid their bill as well. once we got seated tho it was all good with plenty of room! Our waitress was very on top of everything with getting our orders once we got seated and keeping our water carafe filled. i got one of the eggs benedict with a side of breakfast potatoes, and just a black coffee. the benedict was alright, nothing crazy wow. i had a lot of veggies that were on top of the benedict, but so many they kept falling off so my plate just became a huge mess. overall it was an okay experience, not the best brunch spot in my opinion in omaha area, but it does have a small town vibe which is always enjoyable!! read more

Le Peep got EVERYTHING right! From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed with Le Peep. They were able to accommodate 12 of us (distanced from other customers) and were extremely friendly. Our waitress rocked! Not only was she patient with our endless questions, she was able to alter a coffee drink to give my mother the exact thing she wanted. All of our food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. This Le Peep has been here for a long time and was my go to forever. However the last few years I haven't been and unfortunately it is no longer the same. For one, the new remodel makes the interior less homey and more bland/modern. We came on a weekday during lunch and were seated quickly. A positive about Le Peep in the past and other locations is the attentiveness and quickness. The experience was much slower than other breakfast joints such as First Watch or Vidlaks. Food came out at disjointed times nearly 10 minutes apart and a couple side dishes were forgotten. I'm not one to be a Karen in a restaurant but it's unfortunate when a place regresses. read more

The food gets 5 stars but the service brings it down. This is a regular place for my family on the weekends. We love the variety and quality of food! Unfortunately there are issues with unfriendly hostesses, receiving the wrong order or accommodations (no dairy), or long waits. Today's odd instance: asked for some additional sauce and we were told the kitchen was closed. This was 35 min before the restaurant closed. 5 min later a couple came in and was seated... curious that the kitchen was not closed for their order? Mistakes happen but lies are not cool. Been a loyal customer for many years....not anymore!! I sent back my scrambled eggs because they were not completely cooked through. Took my 1st bite & it was like raw eggs in the middle. The manager brought the eggs back out & basically berated me for sending my eggs back & said to me if you want your eggs well done then say so. I replied I don't want my eggs well done I just don't want to eat raw eggs! They don't care about taking care of the customer & definitely need a class in customer SERVICE!! I had the Blueberry, Lemon and Ricotta pancakes. They were large, warm and delicious. The ricotta is strategicly placed in the cake and really sets off several flavors including the wonderful lemon. It comes with lemon glaze and Blueberry compote on the side. You have the option of bacon or sausage. I chose the sausage and I was glad that I did. Great sausage, good spice and a dense texture. I loved the entire meal. The place was clean and our waitress was helpful and fast too. One turn off for me was when I overheard a young waiter try to explain that she needed to scan an app with her cell phone to see the menu. That poor woman couldn't have been more confused. read more

I had the oatmeal cookie latte, it's was a monthly special and it was tasty. The food is good and the portions are plentiful. Sitting next to the coffee bar was a little noisy at times but other than that the atmosphere was very fitting with the brunch setting, the low chatter of other customers was not too loud. So I've been here before and like some other people have pointed out in their reviews. They have to come up something better than the front entrance. There's too many people standing around in the way of everybody. Made us feel awkward. I would highly suggest a design consultant. So I ordered the lobster Benedict only to recieve the salmon Benedict. They did offer to change it out, which I declined. But took a few bucks off the final bill. The place has very good food. It just seems like everybody's just crammed in there, but that doesn't deterred me from going again. The salmon Benedict was good. The pheasant potatoes were good. I wish there was a little bit more obviously with inflation they're cutting back on some of the things. The red white and blue pancakes were pretty good. Could be a little dry for some people but for me they were fine. One thing that did deter me. I got the lemonade with mint & lavender. The young gentlemen, that was helping make this drink opened up I presume was the mint or the lavender, and smelled it. Not sure what reason for maybe they're not properly marked but that just deterred me from ordering that again. The lemonade was good. I didn't really taste much mint in there. I thought it would be a mint leave in there but there wasn't. Despite a few issues that I pointed out, it is a good place and we actually got there at a decent time before it really got busy. We love eating breakfast at this place! Always be prepared to wait a little bit for the table on the weekends. If you don't want to wait too long then call to make a reservation! Food is always awesome and service from this place is great too!! Pay attention to the white board by the entrance for the special of the day! Drinks are great as well. My son ordered a milkshake and it was delicious. Coffee drinks are very good as well. I ordered strawberry cheesecake pancake from the white board and asked our server if I could make it a combo. My choice turned out delicious. I had to bring home my left over and ate it the next day. Highly recommend this place if you live near West Omaha area by Dodge & 156th. Oh don't forget to grab a punch card or ask your server for one. My husband came back with a big smile on his face after he went to the front to pay for our meal. Le Peep's must be under new management because I've never had this issue. I went for breakfast today and ordered an Omni Omelet. The menu did not list the vegetables except mushrooms which I don't care for. I'm not crazy about onions either so just in case i told the waiter not to include mushrooms or onions. When the omelet arrived, it didn't have any vegetables in it and was just meat and cheese which was fine. When the bill came my $14 omelet was now $19. The waiter explained that since I had requested the no onions and mushrooms they charged me for a build your own omelet. He talked the manager and she offered $2 off. When I went to pay, I talked to the manager and she did adjust the bill but said in the future that's how it would be charged. Since when did omitting items cost you more. I am disappointed that this was even an issue and they no longer feel like happy customers are important. Thats the great thing about our country. We have plenty of options. A cute, homey breakfast spot! My friends and I wanted to grab some brunch before heading out, and our searches led us here! Walking in, I couldn't help but notice the adorable hometown vibe I got that reminded me of my favorite brunch spot back in Illinois. Our party of 7 was seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive. After debating a bit, I decided to go with the Green Fields Forever, scrambled eggs with spinach, mushroom, chicken, and cream cheese, and a side of potatoes. The eggs were delicious! I especially enjoyed the creaminess from the cream cheese! The hollandaise sauce on the side was equally delicious and was buttery and smooth. My friends all seemed pleased with their breakfast selections as well. I love this little place! Every single time I come here I am amazed by how awesome the food really is. I always get the Bella special of the day if they have it. It is delicious. It is two poached eggs on top of Canadian bacon, English muffin, and brushetta with balsamic reduction. The holiday season is when they have their best lattes and steamers available. I got a s'mores latte and it was so gooooddd! My finaceé got the farmer eggs Benedict. It is the sauce, sausage patties, poached eggs, and English muffin. He equally enjoyed his meal. We were in town and this restaurant was recommended by a friend so we decided to try it out. Staff was all very friendly and coffee bar selection was amazing! I took a star off however because I ordered a bacon avocado omelet, which on the menu the description says "3 eggs stuffed with bacon and avocado", but when I got my plate the omelette itself looked pretty flat and bland, I opened it and was pretty disappointed to see there was no avocado inside, only 2 tiny, thin slices on top of the omelette. We used to like this place more. Just didn't have a good experience. Put our espresso order in and they had forgotten it and brought it when we were finishing up eating. So many people working it seemed chaotic. My meal was barely lukewarm. Almost all the servers and hostesses were wearing extremely short skirts (in late November) which seems so unnecessary. We heard someone from the back yelling at servers to go check their tables. Just not a good experience this time. Everyone was nice though. read more

I love this place. It's a great good breakfast place that has rarely disappointed me. Very consistent with service and food is always good. I've been here a lot. I've ordered a lot. This is one of my Sunday after church breakfast spots. It's also a lot of people's Sunday after church spot tho. So if you don't get in before the rush, you'll be waiting 20/45 minutes. I'll take a 20/30 minute wait for this place is they have an awesome special and I'm not Hangry. The staff is always friendly and they do move pretty quickly even when it's busy. Great job Le Peep! "Le Peep" is an excellent breakfast place with a silly name. Great place to bring the family for breakfast or brunch ( I haven't tried the lunch). Varied selection and their specials board has several delicious sounding options. I take my coffee seriously and was not disappointed at all. Food was great, our waitress was super nice and attentive. Although I'm only giving it four stars because I could hear the manager (in a purple shirt and brown hair) on Sunday screaming at the workers and I didn't appreciate her being so rude and loud to the waitresses in front of the whole restaurant. I thought she was very unprofessional and if she has a problem or needs to correct one of the waitresses she should do it privately and respectfully and redirect them. Probably won't come back again due to this manager being so rude and I can't stand being around that. It is unfortunate because the food was good but won't tolerate rude managers to high school waitresses doing their best in a pandemic. read more

We were never approached by a server and we watched the other tables being served quickly except for a couple ladies next to us who didn't seem to notice because they were having a conversation. We weren't able to get anyone's attention and left after 15 minutes. We went to Jimmy's Egg instead and had a great breakfast.
