I've really enjoyed all my visits to Le Peep's. It's my go-to place for breakfast. I usually get their pancakes, but I've tried their omelets, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, and coffee. It's all delicious. I've always gone late morning, early afternoon and the wait has never been too bad. Maybe 10 minutes. They serve free Katz's coffee and water to those who are waiting. The atmosphere is fun and casual. Nice patio outside for outdoor seating and plenty of benches for people while they wait for a table. It's between Highland Village and the Galleria, so it's a perfect place to go with a girlfriend and do some shopping after. Private parking lot shared with one other restaurant. Called ahead to this location They said no lines no wait ... not true Parking was crowded and very aggressive guests --have to really watch the parking area. Wait times were as predicted once we put in our name with greeter. so 20 minutes was 20 minutes...but the rest of the service was very slow. 3 of 5 orders was gotten wrong and one plate (my wife's) didn't arrive until everone else had finished ( we couldn't let it all go cold) . Left a bad taste in eveyone's mouth...so to speak. We took it to go but the celebration brunch was spoiled and we ended up chucking it rather than re-heat. We won't be going back ...there was no contrition or apology for the messed up orders or the lateness of the last dish ....even getting the bill collected with credit card was very very slow. Why not wait a few seconds after delivering the bill? Then take the CC and come right back? (we get to leave ( we are finished) and the restuarant gets the table back sooner? Poorly run location compared to Voss. Frankly there are better choices for up market brunch in Houston with less attitude, and far better service... Quattro anyone??. read more

It's basically tradition that my girlfriend and I come here for breakfast every Sunday. First time I came here I got the chicken and waffles, and well, since then I always have. I absolutely love them, I use all the condiments they provide too. Syrup, and honey mustard all over are incredibly good, and the butter just tops it off. My girlfriend always gets a breakfast combo, but has to have their Banana Pecan pancakes, she's IN LOVE with them. I came here again this past Sunday, got the breakfast combo and tried the Cinnamon Pecan pancakes and I am very glad that I did, they were perfect. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars and not 5, is because during the weekend, they are pretty busy, and the service is a bit slow sometimes because of this, but nothing terrible. Le Peep is pretty good. We got here on a Saturday morning, so it was pretty crowded. The wait was pretty short though as we were seated in about five minutes. When I got the menu I was overwhelmed. It's huge. I would honestly say the menu is too big as it took me forever to decide what I wanted to eat. Even though I'm complaining about the size, I do have to commend Le Peep on a very large healthy breakfast section. After about fifteen minutes of staring at the menu I finally decided to order the Ska Lumber (If you can eat the Mega Spa Lumber, you have my respect) and my brother ordered the migas. The food came out quickly and I was quite pleased with my Spa Lumber. I ate about a 1/3 of what they gave me. My brother enjoyed his migas, but said the portion was a bit small. Service is spotty. They try, but have too many tables per server. One big turn off (and the reason they got one star taken off) is that they allow cigarette smoking on the patio and if you sit inside by the windows facing the patio, the smoke comes in.
