Highly Recommend! My first time coming to Dallas and Le PasSage did not disappoint. Ambiance: The restaurant was super gorgeous, inside, outside, even in the bathroom! I recommend coming here for brunch where you get to sit outside on the porch. Even on a super hot day, the seats are shaded and cool. Your view is the Katy Trail. Dinner wise, the inside has a beautiful ambiance. Food: DELICIOUS! The Match Japanese Pancakes were super good. I don't like too sweet of anything and this was perfect. The matcha sauce made the fluffy pancakes 10x more delicious. I love me a good egg entree and the Eggs Florentine did not disappoint. Parking: If you don't plan on valet parking, it is hard to find any spots. Valet was only $5 for brunch.

I'm usually wary of fine dining Chinese fusion restaurants since I am such a fan of authentic hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants, but I'll admit I was pleasantly surprised at how good Le PasSage was. It is right next to the Katy trail near Knox Henderson, and they offer valet parking, garage parking, or street parking if you're lucky. Reservations were easy to make on Resy. I came with a group of friends and we decided to order family style. We started with a collection of appetizers including the rose salad, spring rolls, yellowtail crudo, and shumai. The rose salad was really delicious and tangy (amazing dressing) and the spring rolls were my favorite appetizer. We then ordered the shaking beef, steamed halibut, and duck breast for entrees and all three were delicious. We also got the green beans, chinese broccoli, and fried rice which were the perfect accompaniment to our entrees. Part of me wanted to try the peking duck, but I couldn't get over the $180 price tag and you're also apparently supposed to call ahead and reserve one because they have a limited number each day. Overall, delicious food, cute ambience, and great service! I wouldn't say any of the dishes were authentic, but they were very well seasoned and the flavor profiles worked well together. Would be perfect for a romantic date night!

Pros: The location and ambiance is beautiful. Garden room is perfect on a nice night. The server was well informed and attentive (albeit the drinks came out very slow and that's on the bar). The chive cakes tasted very authentic. Cons: I think the Asian inspired uniforms are kind of gimmicky and don't match the $$$ menu. The food was fine but not great in contrast to prices. I had the duck breast and not warm and was overcooked. My friend ordered fried rice without green onions but they said it wasn't possible so it made us wonder if it was premade. We were offered the jasmine rice instead. I'd probably go back for cocktails but hard to recommend the food...

Tried this restaurant on a weekday night. The atmosphere was very chic but wasn't very busy. The food was alright. I can't say that I would think of the restaurant as a place to go to again but I wouldn't be opposed to it if someone suggested it, particularly for brunch as my friend said that brunch was better. Main negative was that they had the doors open so there were flies we had to keep swatting while trying to eat (even though we were indoors). Eventually about a quarter of the way through the meal a waiter brought a contraption to swat the flies, which was helpful but...it would have been even more helpful to close the doors.

I had low expectations when I read reviews. First, they didn't have a surcharge for credit card. That is a good improvement. And the food is actually delicious. I had authentic Peking duck from quite a few most authentic restaurants in Beijing. The Peking duck here is not bad surprisingly although the price tag is kind of scary ( 190 usd). And it definitely can't feed 4 and we are all girls and not big eaters. The appetizer platter is my favorite. The rose sorbet is a must try!

Beautiful ambience restaurant . That's about it! Food was subpar & tasted bland , menu was limited, nothing stood out in their dishes. We were disappointed with our steak quality. Overall pricey & does not offer anything exciting for us to recommend or return. This is the first restaurant that charges a fee for using credit card! Ridiculous! Valet was also not complementary .

I've been excited to try this place for a while as I saw it getting built while walking the Katy Trail. Before I made the reservation, I was surprised to see the ratings were so low. I hold the belief that people tend to be overly critical of new restaurants, and I believe this is the case here. The food was delicious. I didn't have one plate that I didn't love. The pictured "Pullman Plate" was a great way to try 4 different appetizers on the menu. The drinks were also great, albeit quite pricey. The atmosphere was perfect for a date or a nice dinner out with friends. The only thing that left something to be desired for me was dessert. Although, I must say I have a huge sweet tooth, and the two desserts we had were very good, but not sweet enough for me. Overall, Le PasSage is a wonderful new dinner spot that's worth the try. The biggest thing to note would be the price. It's easy to rack up quite a bill here even compared to some of Dallas' other nicer restaurants.

Brunch was sooo good! We got the assorted pastries to start (3 different yummy flavored croissants) and then I got the Japanese Soufflé Pancakes whichever were so fluffy and moist!! Plus, the view of the Katy Trail was so nice. Would definitely recommend brunch there.

I loved everything about this restaurant! I'm not sure why it is listed as Italian on Yelp as it is a mix of French and Asian?? It has fabulous interiors which set the mood! I mean the hanging light fixture just inside the dining room!! and the sconces above the booths lining the back wall are insane! Our server was amazing as well... obviously busy but he was very attentive! The food is outstanding! I love the combo of French and Asian! It fits our lives perfectly as my husband loves French and I love Asian! He said the duck was the best he has ever had! We will definitely be going back a LOT!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and so glad I got to come for dinner with a few work friends. The restaurant is beautiful and just off the Katy Trail making it such a great location. We ordered several appetizers to start and our favorites by far were the rose salad and the spring rolls. I didn't expect to like the rose salad so much, but the dressing was tangy and absolutely delicious. We then tried several entrees and the side dishes. The shaking beef was tender and flavorful and the halibut was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Szechuan string beans but they did not have the traditional Szechuan pepper that I thought it would have. Chinese broccoli had little flavor and the fried rice was nothing special. Our waiter was very accommodating and helpful, especially since I had a nut allergy and ensured that everything we had was nut free. Overall, a great place for dinner though a little overpriced!

What an incredible new restaurant! The lychee martini was PHENOMENAL, the ambiance is stunning, and the service was impeccable. Don't walk, RUN to get a reservation

This place is undeniably cute, both inside and out, and it's in a great location. The interior has a romantic, dimly lit, upscale vibe, while the patio is more casual and bright--with light pink water glasses and a breezy feel. Unfortunately, the patio booth-tables are packed way too close together, making it feel cramped. The one highlight? The lychee martini--it was genuinely good, minus the weird addition of the lemon peel with popping boba. Beyond that, the experience was disappointing across the board. The food was bland and forgettable, and my date's old fashioned was poorly made. Even stranger, we weren't allowed to order appetizers until we were ready to order our entrées--something about "kitchen timing." I've never encountered that policy at any restaurant, and it immediately made the meal feel rigid and unwelcoming. Service was slow and lacked basic attentiveness. When the food was brought out, the server asked if everything "came out correctly"--but never followed up about how anything actually tasted, either then or after it was clear we had barely touched our entrées. We declined boxes, yet no one asked why or showed any interest in whether we enjoyed the meal. Even the bathrooms were frustrating--confusing to find with too few stalls for the setup to function smoothly. In hindsight, we should have paid more attention to the many negative Yelp reviews. The glowing Resy ratings feel misleading--something just doesn't add up. Safe to say, we won't be returning.

We enjoyed our visit to JINYA over the weekend. We arrived right at opening around 11am, and were…read moreable to find street parking pretty easily. Place was pretty empty, but again, had just opened its doors for its day! Restaurant was clean and modern. There is a section that has a few stairs, so if you have any accessibility issues I would call ahead and ask for a table on the top part of the restaurant. I asked if they had mimosas in which the server replied they did not. However, she came back shortly after and said they could make an exception! I appreciated that and thought it was a nice gesture. Overall, service was really great and attentive. At no point did our water glasses go empty, and we placed our orders super quick. For lunch, I had the Spicy Creamy V Ramen. My friend had Tonkotsu Black. We also split an order of the French fries. Overall, the ramen was very tasty. It wasn't spicy at all, but I appreciate that JINYA includes sauces on the table to add to your ramen. The toppings (onions, tofu, etc.) were delicious and fresh. I also felt super full after only a few bites and took the rest home - well worth the price! My friend enjoyed his meal as well. The French fries needed a bit more salt, but only if you didn't use the dipping sauces. Which you would be crazy not to do so, as they are delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would definitely be back for a quick, affordable lunch.

I tried Komodo in Las Vegas and enjoyed the vibes. So I definitely had to come and visit the Dallas…read morelocation since this is my city. I can say I am a fan and enjoyed my dining experience more here in Dallas! The ambiance is amazing and just beautiful. The restaurant is sexy, chic, glamorous and very stylish. The colors are rich and vibrant. The cherry blossoms and red accents throughout the dining room and bar area are stunning. Service was great and my waiter Que was pleasant. He was polite and friendly. Food was good, but could be better. I want great food with these prices. The garlic noodles were tasty, but I have had way better garlic noodles. They were missing something. Now three of us ordered the surf and turf rice. This is my favorite dish. The portions of lobster and steak were all different on our plates. Mine had the least and seemed a bit skimpy compared to my friends. We all agreed on this. So the chef needs to do better controlling the portions of lobster and steak. It was still flavorful and delicious. Cocktails are weak in my opinion. Both in Vegas and Dallas. My friends and I also agreed on this. Overall Komodo is a lovely space. Next up I plan to try the Miami location. This restaurant is great for special occasions, date night with friends or your significant other. It's definitely worth visiting and having the opportunity to experience the Asian flair!

Went last night to celebrate my birthday. I've always wanted to go to Komodo ever since I moved to…read moreTexas which was 4 years ago. It was my very first time going to Komodo and the first time experience was not the greatest. Before I go into my review, I did enjoy the ambiance, decor and food. The food was actually really good and the portions were decent. I ordered the wagyu beef dumplings and garlic noodles for starters. I initially chose the Peking duck and was super excited to try it. This is where it started to downhill... As we were ordering starters and drinks, the drinks came out fairly quick and the starters did take about 15-20 minutes which I understand it was a Saturday night. After most of the appetizers came out, we decided to order our entrees because we noticed how long the appetizers took. About hour and some time goes by, the waiter comes back to tell me they just ran out of Peking duck. Which was disappointing so I quickly ordered the Korean fried chicken. The timing with how they ran out the entrees was a whole mess. There were two food runners that were confused with the food orders. 1 of 8 of my friends got their food way before all of us, we had waited an additional 15 minutes before 2 more entrees came out. Oh! My second appetizer (garlic noodles) still haven't come out yet and some of my friends had their entrees....My Korean fried chicken came out but it was fairly quickly so I'm not sure they just threw it in real quick for an apology of taking so long. Two of the breasts we're hard and tough to cut. So then we waited and waited for my very last friend to get her Lo mein...it was an extra 45 minutes until she was able to get her food!!!!! Unacceptable. I was so irritated about that and just ruined the mood. We were all done eating our food by then. We were already frustrated and ready to go at that point, but as soon as she got her food, the veggies were undercooked and it was an overall upsetting situation. I wish I had a better outcome and better celebration for my birthday. I would only recommend this place if you have nothing to do..because you will be waiting for your food for a long time. I suggest to eat before you go and by the time you digest, your food will be ready
