Steak frites. Delicious!
Sally X.

We were in town for a few days and staying at the Omni. Walking around, my husband has a nose for good restaurants and he spotted Le Parc Bistrobar suggesting we try it. Delicious food and impeccable service. What a gem! The restaurant was very quaint and lovely. I would recommend this place.

Welcoming staff that made us feel like we were coming home. Food was exceptional with really friendly and helpful suggestions. We were here for a 69th birthday and was truly remarkable and gave us an unforgettable memory. Outstanding!

Amazing hidden gem tucked within the Galleria park hotel. The dinner menu is small but you can't go wrong with anything you order. We devoured their octopus salad daily special. Spinach ravioli was nothing like I've tasted before and was delicious. They did great with the steak as well. Extensive drink menu with lots to pair with your entree. Great service! Ambiance feels like fine dining, was also pretty quiet at 8 PM on a Thursday evening.

Came here for a team dinner after work and had the whole place to ourselves. The restaurant itself is quite large with plenty of indoor seating both on the first floor and second. They were accommodating for our group of ~18. They had great mocktail options for me which I appreciated. We had multiple courses including a yummy salad and butternut or pumpkin bisque. The mains were also good but nothing to really write home about it. I probably wouldn't go back, but it was a great spot for a work dinner where we didn't feel rushed, there was plenty of room, and it was somewhat nearby.

Lumière cocktail

Great casual French bistro vibe. Cocktail list is loaded with many classics, including some obscure but tasty options. Had the escargot app and the oxtail entree; both were tasty and satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive.

What's that?" said Ron, pointing at a large dish of some sort of shellfish stew that stood beside a large steak-and-kidney pudding. "Bouillabaisse," said Hermione. "Bless you," said Ron. "It's French," said Hermione -- J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire A beautiful room, tasty French food, solid wine list; one cannot go wrong at Le Parc Bistrobar Met up with a longtime friend, business colleague and fellow yelper a few months back and we enjoyed this restaurant's happy hour very much. It was Salesforce Week so a lot of restaurants were full. Plus the financial district has lost more than a few sit down places. So after walking a few blocks, we found Le Parc and they had many tables free, some with lovely views. We shared several starter plates, particularly enjoyed the fries and soup, plus a lovely Côtes du Rhône by the glass. Service was friendly and professional, plus again the room is gorgeous. Located inside the Galleria Park Hotel but with its own entrance, restrooms are located away from restaurant inside the hotel. Recommended!

Part of the salmon tartare app, caramelized onions and cheese very good

Le Parc bistro is attached to a hotel. It really gives off old school classy vibes with dark wood walls and white cloth tables. The service is 5 stars excellent. The bartender even leaves the bar and talks to the customers making sure they like what they are drinking. The waitresses really try to connect with you and are super friendly. It's expensive but not overly expensive. The atmosphere does scream date night. And possibly fancy work outing. I expect this place to be busier than it is, the food quality and service is amazing. I think this is a newer place in the past year. My sole was excellent. It was so rich in flavor and juicy. Huge portion! My friend liked his salmon but I felt it was a little fishy. The salmon tartare app was very good as well and a decent sized portion. The desserts weren't overly sweet and they were a shareable size. Though my dessert said pistachio ice cream but it mostly tasted like raspberry and passion fruit. The drinks were excellent and very strong. It's $19 for a cocktail and they have an extensive cocktail menu. My favorite was studio 54 which is pistachio liquor and Midori. It's a pricey restaurant but it's not over priced based on the quality of food, service and atmosphere.

A beautiful, tasty French restaurant! Definitely order the chicken here - it's one of the most worth it items you can order on the menu. It honestly surprised me how good chicken could taste. The cocktails were also super good. Loved the espresso martini and French 75. Overall a great place to dine at for an occasion, or just a nicer day out.

Flank steak and fries, tarragon herb sauce

Came here with my family for my birthday dinner and the food was amazing. The steak and salmon were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The oxtail was delicious and its sauce was perfect. Service was good and very accommodating. Would definitely come back for a special occasion.

it's a very cute place. The menu is pretty short, but the courses we ordered were tasty. Escargot preparation was interesting. The leeks were lovely. The chicken liver pate tasted a little too livery, while the jam on top def helped. Favorite dish was braised oxtail. Very good.

Tartare de Saumon: Salmon crudo, lemon, taro ($21)

4.5 STARS You know the rich rich that you vicariously live through because you aren't ballin' or have a sugar daddy or OF money? I remember my friend posting their tab for Baumé (Palo Alto)....$1,400+ for two (before shrinkflation). And, half of it was for wine because wine pairing was apparently required and they can't even drink wine. So, basically they dropped $700 pp for the food BEFORE tip. Oh you know, just a casual weekday dinner for them. WILD. Well, the Owner-Chef Bruno Chamel of now defuct Baumé has opened an affordable French bistro in the city with most entrees in the $30s. And, wines by the glass at $13 max. Now we're talking...a STEAL from a chef who in the past was awarded two Michelin stars eight years in a row! Soft opening is Le Parc Bistrobar in the Galleria Park Hotel (formerly Gaspar Brasserie). Currently open for dinner only with lunch service to come. Starting July 15th, they'll have happy hour from 3 pm - 5 pm. Rezzies available on Toast but walk-ins are accepted (large space). M E N U French Bistro Cuisine using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Full bar. Corkage fee: $45. 6% SF mandate. F O O D * Tartare de Saumon: Salmon crudo, lemon, taro ($21) // 4 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/jjf93j93 Salmon poke nachos with cucumbers, a dollop of citrusy foam, and crunchy taro chips (a little too thick tho). The salmon was hella fresh and buttery... such an unexpected app coming from a French bistro. * Pot Pie D'Escargot: Escargots, garlic, parsley, brick ($19) // 3 stars: https://tinyurl.com/r5uh48ek Tender snails simmered in a brothy sauce and topped with [brick] cracker. It was fine but too salty and I would have preferred the puff pastry crown (noted on online menu). * Queues de Boeuf au Vin Rouge: Braised oxtail, red wine, carrots, pomme puree ($35) // 5 stars: https://tinyurl.com/bddnzz4w A rustic dish, the braised oxtails were meltingly tender in a flavorful red-wine sauce with soft carrots and crisp bokchoy. Served over deliciously rich, creamy potato puree. Simple, hearty, and satisfying. * Bavette de Bouef Grillé: 8 oz. Grilled Flap Steak w/ béarnaise sauce ($38) // 5 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/mr2fawdw --Requested medium rare Perfectly red and tender with a good sear from the grill. As flap steak can be chewy, I was pleasantly surprised at how it nearly melted in our mouths. The silky smooth béarnaise with a kiss of tang made it even more bomb. They ran out of the obligatory side of frites tho. =( * Oeufs à la Neige: Floating island, anglaise sauce, caramel ($12) // 4 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/43wyhdjy A classic French dessert - fluffy clouds of poached meringue floating over a vanilla-y sauce. Enjoyed the almonds for texture. You're basically eating air so it's almost calorie free! J/k! S E R V I C E Refined, very kind, and approachable staff. It was nice to see owner-chef's wife greeting guests at the hostess stand. Prompt food service for 5 pm dinner rezzies (in/out in an hour). A M B I A N C E Sexy date night vibes with vintage fixtures and dark burgundy leather banquettes (similar to their predecessor). Two-level resto with two bars that can accommodate over 100 people. P A R K I N G Hotel valet: $27 for 90 minutes + $6 for every 30 minutes thereafter. Garage next door is $7 every 30 minutes. Overall, I know a lot of people have been avoiding going to Union Square (*raises hand*)...but if you never had a chance to taste Chef Bruno's food, now you can without breaking your wallet!

Pot pie d'escargots
Eric L.

A shockingly-good "casual" follow-up from the chef at Baume (when it had two Michelin stars) and Chez TJ (also, two stars). This is French cooking at its finest, with snails that are soft (not the weird mushroom-like ones you get at most places), where the salmon tartare comes with a citrus foam, and where the fish is seared so perfectly (and coated in butter) that you'll remember it a day later - not just because you're lactose intolerant, but because it was so good. So why the four stars? Well... there's limited options, and dietary restrictions are NOT accommodated - that makes for a nightmare for a lot of diners. The restaurant is still picking up, and I suspect that maybe, just maybe, this could elevate itself and allow for more options. It's clear why he had two stars (and why he was so upset when he lost them). It really is a great meal.

This place was amazing. I'm surprised it wasn't more busy. The cocktails list had so many yummy drinks is was hard to choose just one. The upstairs area has a nice bar area with an attached dining room. Food was amazing and service was also on point. Glad I finally went here and will be back.

I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The club was set to close at 2am -- so they start getting everyone together and closing out tabs a 10 minutes or so before it actually closed. I finish my drink and gather my belongings to go to the restroom beforehand. It was occupied at the time ... so I decided not to worry anymore and walk back to my friends. As I'm doing so, I hear the guard rudely speaking to them and telling them to leave. I advised the man that the club was still open at the moment (they had about 5 mins left) and that we actually were heading out then. I also told him that he didn't have to speak to my friends like that - after he had just been joking around with them moments before. Instead of taking accountability, he immediately got an attitude with me and stated that he didn't care about that and it was time to go. Another female guard then popped up randomly and essentially told me to "fix my delivery" and that the man was her brother. To which I replied, that they were both ultimately in the wrong. I understand wanting to leave work but being rude and distasteful towards paying customers isn't the way to do jt. I hope they hire better employees it was a nice place!

There were only two service staff; we could tell they were working hard but they definitely needed more help. We made two trips to the bar and it took about 15-20 minutes to get service. Drinks were decent. A larger group arrived to the left of us, and about 20 minutes after they arrived, the male service worker told us we had to move cause our spot was reserved. Mind you, we'd been there for almost two hours at this point and nobody had mentioned anything about our spot being reserved, and there was no sign holder indicating it either. It was also advertised as a "no cover" event, so curious to know how reservations were even made. He told us we could move over to the wall; which we discovered was right next to the restrooms and the line of users. Not cool. We then noticed that the larger group had spread out and taken our spot; were we supposed to believe these were the supposed "reservation" holders and not just your friends? Overall, just another mediocre bar that caters to the people they know. Not much concern for new customers, so we have no interest in returning or recommending to anyone. Plenty of other bars in the city; better bars that won't make you feel inferior.
