Stumbled upon this place because it was the only few restaurants that were opened when we were hungry (a lot of places close around 2:30-3p). We decided to stop here because they had 4 stars but we did not like the food. My husband had the burger and fries, which was meh. My daughter had the pasta which wasn't very good, even she didn't want to finish it. And I had the French onion soup. The only thing that was good was the crunchy bread. I went to Le New York with my husband and friend while on our trip to Paris. We did not experience any of the issues noted in other reviews. Our server was friendly and attentive, while the restaurant was also full of many French customers. We all enjoyed our meals and agreed we would go there again. The restrooms were also clean and well maintained. If you're looking for a casual dinner with more American type food, this restaurant is a great option. read more

We ordered the Rose champagne and the blue cheeseburger and both were really good. Plus you can't beat the view. Staff was friendly, spoke English and were quick. Road is a little noisy, though. read more

I've read the other reviews, and I think it matters what dishes you order here. This was one of the closest restaurants to our hotel, and we were a bit skeptical because it's a French bistro with an American name. The meal turned out really good. We got the steak l'entrecôte and the beef bourguignon, and both were really tasty. The entrecôte sauce was not tasty, but the steak itself was cooked well. The escargot is sub par. The wines were just fine; we had a pleasant St Joseph. And obviously the view was fantastic. read more

Our family is American and went to Le New York for lunch on a Thursday. There were multiple French families that were seated after us and got their meals long before we did. It seemed as if the French customers got completely superior service than we did. My sisters and I both ordered drinks we never got, and the waitress seemed to blatantly ignore us when we would try to get her attention to ask for condiments, refills, etc. the food was pretty good when we finally recieved our meals, but the long wait and poor service ruined the experience. read more

Night out in Paris and everything was closing in the neighborhood, so we came into this bar and had a couple of cocktails. Though they shut doors early, the caipirovska and the apperol we had were good. The place is not particularly nice but the view to the Eiffel Tower was worth it. Went here on our last night in Paris looking for some great Parisian food. Unfortunately left with a craving for something better. We started out with drinks which were both pretty good, although my Long Island iced tea had a bunch of sugar at the bottom of the cup, which wasn't too appeasing. We then received our appetizer of French Onion Soup, which I must say was some of the best I've ever had. The cheesy garlic bread really added that touch that I've never had before. We then finished with a chicken pasta and salmon steak dinners. The chicken pasta was ok, as there wasn't much flavor and the tiny bits of chicken were already mixed in with the sauce, so after a few bites became kinda un-appeasing. The salmon "steak" had decent flavor, especially on the seared side, but was very undercooked. The ratatouille didn't have much flavor and kinda tasted like an over cooked vegetable stir fry. I would also say the service took quite some time, but I won't fault them too much since this was toward closing. The best thing about this place, is the location. Being able to look out from our table and eat under the Eiffel Tower is something very special. If your looking for a great place to grab some drinks and small bites, this is the spot to go. If you're looking for a great dinner, may want to try somewhere else. read more

A 10-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. The staff are incredibly nice and attentive. Best restaurant experience on our European road trip. The food is delicious. To name a few to try: fish and chips, salmon, escargot, penne and the French Onion soup is phenomenal. This is expensive, but worth it. read more

Don't walk past this cutesy cafe, RUN!!! Rudest and nastiest treatment I have ever experienced my life. We are from the US and my family and I were so excited to eat at this restaurant. After we were ignored and treated like we were invisible, we were further punished for being a TOURIST by making my family wait for our food for an hour and the food was horrible! We left so hurt and disappointed. I just pray they did not spit on my family's food. The owner of this restaurant sets the example and culture of this restaurant and it is totally not acceptable! it is anusive and discriminating. He needs to fire everyone and he needs to go to DEI training! read more

If you are American, I would not go. We were treated very rudely and we were the first in the restaurant and all the french around us who came in 30+ mins after us got their food before. They purposely ignored us when we tried to ask for another drink. Food was good but service was shit. read more

This is a great spot to eat with a view of eiffel tower, however, if you are asian, please don't go. It took 50 min to get our subpar food only after we inquired about it. Bunch of non-asian people who came after us got their food first and we finally got our appetizers when other table was getting their dessert. When we asked where our food was, the response was "it's coming it's coming" and when he finally brought it, he was like " here you go, ok?" and didn't even acknowledge or apologize that we had to wait almost an hour. This place has terrible service and terrible food. this is what we ordered: pina colada: it was lukewarm steak: room temp salmon: burnt escargot: burnt onion soup: half filled with no broth We wanted to end the last night in Paris with an eiffel tower view and it literally ruined our night. Yummy yummy yummy! Eating while gazing at the Eiffel Tower and not paying a million bucks for it. Extremely versatile menu, very very reasonably priced and extremely enjoyable location. The opulent pasta was delicious, croque monsieur incredible, great wine list and directly across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower! read more
