Well presented desert, amazing meld of flavors. There were lychee balls inside that somehow melted in your mouth.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here. A really creative array of dishes beautifully presented and with amazing flavors. We did the Chef's tasting menu - what was striking wasn't was both reasonably priced and had no weak links. Every dish was delicious. Overall location is perhaps what holds these folks back, however the inside decor is pleasant and understated and the service was friendly and attentive.

Had a wonderful experience here. My group's French is nothing short of terrible but they were very accommodating trying to explain each dish in English. We also walked in on a Wednesday, fully expecting them to turn us away, but they squeezed us onto their bar. We had the chef's tasting menu paired with 3 wines - a Champaign, a sauvignon blanc and a Bordeaux. We started off with a snapper ceviche - or was light and paired very well with the Champaign. We then had a grilled octopus dish with squid ink barley and corn. After that we had a warm cauliflower soup that was perfect after the octopus. Another dish dish followed but I couldn't make out what she said the type was. The main dish was a prime rib that was melt in your mouth delicious. The dessert was a melon sorbet with an almond cream. The service was exceptional and they had a very unique fusion of Japanese and French cuisine. I highly recommend it!

Elegantly arranged next to each other, French cutlery and Japanese chopsticks symbolise the spirit of Le Clos Y. Quality ingredients, attentive execution, pursuit of subtlety: Yoshitaka Ikeda underscores once again all the well-established affinities of French and Japanese food. Simpler fare at lunchtime, "surprise menu" at dinner.

There's a long bar to enjoy a casual meal and some very good wines.

Went for lunch. They have a small and well chosen menu. The attention to detail of each course is well above par, indeed the presentation was a delight. Main course was a saddle of beef- well seasoned and juicy. I didn't get a chance to ask about the locality of the farms and sources, but all ingredients were fresh and tasty. The desert was a nougat ice cream which was very nutty and utterly delicious. Not too expensive, be prepared for a long wait, but it's worth it.

Le Clos Y was a crazy gastro-adventure. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic for those individuals who are looking for a date night. But that doesn't mean it's not a bad place for large groups either. The food was amazing. The scallops and shrimp dish left me salivating throughout the rest of the night. The "blackened" fish was divine. The beef flank melted in my mouth. The desserts left me on cloud 9. Everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious and made with such precision. All of the dishes were beautiful and I was taken aback but just how wonderful the whole experience was.

    Asparagus and many other ingredients!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

This place was a huge letdown. They had a cute little artisanal market on the front left of the…read morerestaurant. They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.
