Our family had dinner there last night. Our experience was fantastic. The food and service was superb and they accommodated for different dietary needs. This restaurant has turned a strip mall storefront into a nicely decorated Mediterranean salon It has tables on side of the store and very comfy couches. We were greeted with hospitality by the staff, the restaurant has a fixed menu, which is very good and I believe a good value. It comes with soup, Mediterranean salad dips bread, meat filled pastry with nuts and honey, and cinnamon it's savory and pretty to look at. There is a Lamb main course but before the Lamb there was a belly dancer that took the Centre if the restaurant has a show stage with three numbers and a few costume changes. It was an enjoyable show. Glad to have it. the evening ended with tea and cookies. Really a nice place to for a celebration certainly a little out of the ordinary on Maui but totally worth it read more

Great new menu with à la carte options! Convenient location with ample parking. Can't wait to try...

Le Bazaar Restaurant was easily one of the best meals we had in Maui. The vibe is fun, stylish, and relaxed--upscale but not stiff, with great energy from the moment you walk in. The food was incredible. Every dish came out looking great and tasting even better. There's a prix fixe menu, which makes the whole experience feel curated without being overwhelming, and everything we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Fresh ingredients, bold combinations, and nothing felt overdone. One of the coolest surprises was the live belly dancer, which added an unexpected and entertaining touch to the night without taking away from the dining experience. It really elevated the atmosphere and made the evening feel special. Service was spot on--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without hovering. The staff was great with recommendations and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you're in Maui and want amazing food, a great vibe, and a little extra flair, Bazaar is absolutely worth it. Would 100% go back and again!! read more

Le Bazaar - Me and my little sidekick in Hawaii! - Moroccan Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

We simply don't have great Moroccan food near us, so were really excited to try this spot, and it was 100% worth it to make the 1.5 hr round trip drive from our hotel. Our service from Salma was excellent, she was a charming host, and the atmosphere is great. Our food was all very good. Out Lamb Tagine and cous cous dishes were very salty, but still good. B'stella was very tasty and something we have missed. Love that dish! Le Bazaar is an excellent choice for all sized groups and super fun for special occasions! read more

I thought this place might be kitschy but it was actually great. The people were awesome, the food was delicious, and it felt like a real introduction to Moroccan food and culture. The pre fixe meal is $89 per person, but the vegan option is $69 and it was so so good! First course is a soup thats vegan by default, tasted like a good hearty tomato-based chowder or stew but without meat Then there's a platter of "salads" that reminded me of Ethiopian food. 3 cooked soft dishes and then some seasoned carrots, with a bread to scoop it all up and eat with your fingers (no utensils). Then you get this incredible phyllo-dough incased savory-sweet course. It's traditionally filled with nuts, chicken, and egg, but the vegan version had tofu egg and TVP with the nuts. It was so flavorful and different and awesome. Main course is a shared platter of couscous and then meat-eaters pick their protein, veg get flavorful roasted veggies. Dessert is a tray of assorted pastries, sadly none of which are vegan. But you also get a post-dinner hot mint tea that's slightly sweet and floral. It was unlike anything I've had before and I really liked it. You are invited to put on Moroccan clothing over your own for the meal, and there is a belly dancer performance but it's very impressive and fun and involves cool lights and balancing a sword. This was our first time and I'd go back! Our server was also super sweet and accommodating. read more

Awesome journey through various moroccan foods. Our guide was super kind and explained all of the dishes to us. The B'Stella was so unique. When it comes out, it almost seems like a dessert, because all you can smell is the phyllo dough, powdered sugar, and cinnamon. But when you cut it open, all the savory spices inside somehow mesh perfectly with the sweet scents?? The scent was almost better than the taste, so really impressed with this one. This restaurant really excels at balancing sweet and savory, including the lamb tagine (made with prunes) and the butternut squash salad/dip. Loved all the new flavors I got to experience! read more

If you've never tried Moroccan food before then you should definitely give it a try. It was a first for us and we were all pleased with the experience. I love the atmosphere as the place is decorated with authentic furniture and fabrics that take you to another country. Get in the mood with a Moroccan coverup. The food was awesome even for my spouse who is not a brave eater. Our vegan friend was in heaven. So many delicious unique flavors, and so much food that we were all stuffed and had leftovers to take home. These were dishes I have never tasted before and now I'm curious to replicate. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the belly dancer was fun. I highly recommend dining here. read more

Le Bazaar in Maui was an absolute DREAM of a dining experience. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfection. We got changed into their cultural clothing, then began the ambiance, the energy, the service, and most importantly, the food. Every dish was beyond amazing, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Truly one of those meals you don't stop thinking about afterward. Amber and Edwin made the experience unforgettable. They were warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. The kind of servers who elevate the entire night and make you feel so well taken care of. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their hospitality was top-tier. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Incredible food, incredible service, incredible vibes. I would highly recommend Le Bazaar to anyone visiting Maui a must-visit! read more

Some restaurants have atmosphere, but the food is meh. Some restaurants have good food, but the service and setting leave you cold. Not Le Bazaar--this restaurant has warm hospitality, delicious food, and delightful entertainment. It is well worth a night out on Maui. After being greeted and shown to our table, we were offered the opportunity to slip into a Moroccan robe and fez, if we wished. We then engaged in a brief hand washing ritual with warm orange blossom water. Le Bazaar serves six courses. Most are set, but you have a choice of protein for your main course. The meal begins with three starters: a tomato-based soup, wonderful soft bread with a trio of salads (that are like spreads), and a baked phylo dish called b'Stella. All of the starters were delicious, but the b'Stella is especially unique. The filling is savory, but the phylo is dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The savory-sweet combination is divine! The main course is a tagine. We had the fish and the other couple with us had the chicken. Our fish was very tender and flavorful. You can get fish everywhere on Maui, but it isn't prepared like this. It was special. The other couple said it was the best chicken they ever had--it fell off the bone it was so tender. The main course is served with couscous and vegetables. The meal finishes with Moroccan cookies and a sweet minted-orange blossom tea. Delicious. A belly dancer performed two dances toward the end of our meal and on our way out we were sprinkled with orange blossom water. Le Bazaar is well worth the $89 per person. Portions are generous (I was full after the starters!), the food is delicious, and the experience is special. read more

This is an amazing Middle Eastern restaurant in Azeka Marketplace where Bank of Hawai'i is located. You can bring your own alcohol, and there is no corkage fee. Once you step in the doors you are swept away to Morocco. The six course meal is an excellent option. However, you can also order ala carte. We started our meal with the Harira soup, which was very refreshing and a must for the first course. The second course was a salad with four different vegetables that are eaten with bread. (No utensils provided.) the second appetizer and third course was the b'stella which is a savory and sweet baked chicken pastry topped with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Our main courses were a flurry of chicken, beef, lamb, and fish that were all excellent in presentation, taste, and uniqueness. read more

We have been here twice now and are looking forward to returning. The first time I was entranced by the ceremony of it all, from the orange blossom hand wash to the post dinner mint tea. The second time I paid more attention to the food. It is really good and unlike anything you can get here on Maui. I encourage local families to come here because it it delicious as well as an event. Each course is unique and so tasty. This cuisine uses fruits and nuts in cooking and it lends a surprise to each dish. The lamb tagine with the prunes melts in your mouth! When they first opened and I saw $89.00 price fixe", I was concerned for the restaurant's longevity. It actually is a good value as we often go to happy hour and drop over $100.00 on pupus , few drinks and leave thinking "What's for dinner?". They currently do not have a liquor license so you can BYOB with no corkage fee and enjoy great wine without paying the usual 200% markup. So, great food, great experience, and reasonable pricing. What is not to love? We will be back! read more

Yallah, naakulou. Let's eat, dig in [in Moroccan] Tonight's dinner was divinely delicious!!! We made reservations at Le Bazaar located in Azeka Shopping Center, 1280 S. Kihei Road Ste 107 Kihei Maui 96753. The restaurant is opened from 5 - 9 pm from Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Monday. It's $89 a person and kids 13 and under are FREE. It's optional but dinning customers were welcomed to wear a hat with a gandoura (male) and caftans (female) thawb/thobe. We were greeted with the staff and co-owner and felt very welcome the moment we entered the restaurant. The server, Carla, came with the traditional washbasin for us to cleanse our hand with water before eating. We began with the mint tea with orange blossom ceremony. It's definitely a must have tea, all the time! I enjoyed the refreshing flavor! We tried everything they had on their menu. If this is something you want to try, I highly recommend that you come with a group of families and friends We started with Harira Soup, a comforting tapestry of exotic flavors blend of lentils, chickpeas, fresh herbs & savory tomato broth. Followed with 4 Moroccan Salad [Chekchouka - roasted tomatoes with peppers, Zaalouk - eggplant, carrots and butternut squash salads]. Next, we had B'stella, a blend of sweet & savory nestled in a delicate flaky phyllo pastry. Our main dish started with Couscous, a handmade drum wheat with chickpeas, carrots, potatoes, cabbage & pumpkins. Next, the fish tagine, a fish in a chermoula sauce, beef tagine, cooked in unctuous honey saffron broth topped with dried plums and toasted almonds. We also had Chicken tagine cooked in rich saffron ginger sauce with preserved lemons and briny Moroccan olives. We ended our meal with an assortment of cookies and chocolate plus more of the soothing Moroccan mint tea with orange blossom that was light and refreshing! On our way out, the owner sprinkled us with orange blossom water. A sign of gratitude and appreciation for dinning with them! The experience was truly amazing, impeccable and an exceptional feeling that I'll cherish. Shukran. شكراً Thank You read more

I just ate here last Saturday night. As an LA native that now lives in Maui, I was so excited to find some global cuisine coming to our little island! I did not realize it was a prix-fixe menu, which was a little disheartening, but we went through with our reservation. Some lady gave the restaurant 2 stars on Google because she also didn't read about the menu, walked in, and left, complaining it's not "for locals." A private establishment can legally open whatever business they'd like. If you are not a fan of the pricing or cannot afford it, there's no reason to bash the business. Just quietly leave the establishment and move on with your life. Anyway, we walked into the beautifully decorated eatery in the Azeka Maui plaza, next to the ProArts shops. Everything is so pretty, definitely feel like you are in a big city. 5/5 for the decor and vibes. We got seated immediately for our reservation and were greeted. Ambiance is vibrant and lively with music playing. It was day 3, so I was expecting some delays/hiccups, but unfortunately they were pretty common throughout the night. We left 150 minutes after we sat down. While they applied a 15% kamaaina, I was hoping the managers would also apply another discount due to the hiccups they were experiencing. The prix fixe menu for $89, is pretty decent for what they offer, but also restricts how many times people can visit the restaurant. There was plenty of food, but it all came out at inconsistent times and sometimes less than hot. They had a wonderful live entertainer that performed two sets. They provide a rose water hand bath in the beginning, mint tea at the end as well as some desserts. Overall, I would hope they work to improve the timing of the delivery of their various dishes as well as have their staff check on their guests in a more timely manner. Hopefully they can make the prix fixe an option and allow guests to order smaller dishes or a la carte in the future. read more

What an experience! As you walk in you're greeted by a host who guides you on what to expect. Play along, because the fez, garb and belly dancing make the experience what it needs to be. I've been here twice so far and this place is such a unique and fun experience. The customer service is exceptional, the food is delicious and the entertainment makes you want to get up and (attempt) to belly dance with them ha! Wow this place is an experience!! For starters the ambiance of Le Bazaar is spectacular! As soon as you walk in you are transported to Morocco, the they have tons of beautiful artwork and light fixtures. The food: you get so much for the price, also the owner mentioned that everything is completely fresh and organic. The food has so many unique different flavors, the soup was a delicious blend of cozy and warming flavors, the La'stella was nothing like I have ever tried but it seriously blew me away! My favorite main dish was the lamb but you can't go wrong with any of them. They are all cooked to perfection, they are decadent in flavor, so tender, and large portions. To end the food they have a couple of different cookies and some very yummy mint/green tea. The service was incredible, the owner Rick was incredibly kind as well as our server. You get to pick out an outfit, they have great music, and they even have belly dancing! What an awesome spot, I've truly never been so blown away. read more

I was invited to try a new place that served Moroccan food and I wasn't sure what to expect since I've never had it before. But I was stoked because I heard from Chef Gordon Ramsay that Moroccan food was awarded the #1 cuisine in the world on a recent food poll-WHAT? Okaaayy. Say less, let's go! I guess I was pretty excited because my son and I arrived 25 minutes before our reservation (lol sometimes that Kihei traffic makes things interesting and I was not going to be late for this experience.) We came back at our scheduled time and basically transported to Morocco without even having to pack my bag or find my passport. Rick greeted us like old friends as we headed to our spot in this gorgeous restaurant. Our server washed our hands with orange blossom water (which smelled so good! Why doesn't all hand soap smell like this?), and then we went to pick out our beautiful kaftans. There were so many colors and patterns--and I'm always a fan of dressing up (I can't wait to come back with my friends). The food was so good, scratch that, the food was SO DELICIOUS like so full of flavor perfection! It's a 6 course meal so there's a lot of goodness happening--soup, salad, B'Stella (which was my favorite!), protein, couscous, desserts, mint tea--WHAAA?! We truly loved everything that was put in front of us, and wondered why we had never eaten here before and agreed that Chef Gordon was right--this food is *chef's kiss*. As I mentioned, the B'Stella was my favorite: A blend of savory and sweet -now stay with me- Chicken, toasted almonds, eggs, in a phyllo pastry, sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar. You need to get this in your belly! I would eat this everyday if I could--it's that delicious. The beautiful belly dancer was very talented and entertaining and brought many smiles to all ages (toddlers to grandpas!) My introvert son event went out to the dance floor and moved his feet to the beat. We ended the meal with a variety of delightful cookies and the best tea I've ever had - and I don't really like tea, but this has to be the world's best tea. Refreshing and just a perfect note to end the meal. MAHALO NUI to the staff here, it's clear that they really love their job and want to see everyone having a great time and leaving satisfied. 10/10 and I can't wait to come back! See you soon! read more

Passing through these doors will find you transported instantly to the heart of Morocco, and into the welcoming embrace of its charm and hospitality. The host (and owner) greeted us like dear friends, his warm and effusive demeanor easing us into what was to become an extraordinary experience. Indeed all of the staff were so friendly and kind, including our waitress who patiently answered our many questions about the food, decor, and clothing. Our six-course meal was exquisite from start to finish -- the zaalouk (eggplant dip) and pastilla (savory pastry) were my particular favorites, but it was all truly superb.  The table next to us had a single vegetarian diner, and I took note of how happy they were to accommodate her dietary needs. The authentic decor, music, and garments create a rich atmosphere which draws the eye to the sumptuous textures and intricate designs which Morocco is famous for. We were graced as well by a skillful performance by a local belly-dancer. Best date night on Maui, girls night, birthdays, or any night! Morocco holds one of the most special places in my heart, and it's wild how Le Bazaar's food, hospitality, and decor transported me back there! It was like a magic carpet ride to the special time in my life when I was 19, teaching English there one summer on a scholarship. The first time I went to Le Bazaar, I actually got super emotional as I was truly transported back to the magical summer that forever transformed me! Back to the present, this beautiful restaurant is true a magical EXPERIENCE you must try! The hosts are incredible, soo attentive, and checked in on our table frequently with so much care, smiles, and kindness. Edwin loved chatting with us, and we were so grateful. Isa is an incredlbe belly dancer, and we joined in on the fun too! Then there is the FOOD. Wow. My tastebuds flashed back to when I was 19, and since I've been back last year and 6 years. ago. I was so re-inspired by the food experience at Le Bazaar, that when I organized one of my yoga retreats worldwide last year in Morocco for the first time, I made sure to also offer a cooking class to learn to make traditional dishes the traditional way. SO much love and care goes into couscous, tajine, their pies, etc - I never had any idea! Also the outfits were SO fun, I also knew I had to surprise my group by getting them each one too! Try one on - super cute, colorful, and cozy! Perfect for stuffing yourself with delicious food All that to say, the love, care, prep, ingredients, experiences, decorative touches, music I remember from my Morocco days... is a no-brainer. And it was BYOB at least when I went last, so extra no-brainer! Can't wait to go back asap! read more
