    Spanish mussels
    Janit V.

Conveniently located right across from the Hyatt Regency Etoile. They start you off with complimentary, endless bread. They gave us about 3 baskets throughout our entire meal. We ordered the bone marrow and foie gras to start. Portion sizes are very generous. It took us another serving of complimentary bread to pair with both appetizers. We also ordered the Spanish mussels, which are raw, and the steak tartare which comes with a side of fries. The portion size is pretty large compared to an order in the US. The staff is also friendly and attentive.

Lovely spot near the Hyatt. Lots of fresh seafood. Soup was 'legumes' which consisted of a thick broth soup with a load of vegetables, mostly potatoes but with an beautiful buttery taste. Don't know how hey cook it but the vegetables must be somehow cooked ahead of time (pan fried?) and then integrated. Super. Traditional foie gras was delectable. Accompanied by a rich chutney ant toasted baguette. Something was different about the dish and tasted like it had been marinated before assembly...really nice! The fish was a baked fish with potatoes. A traditional dish (?) which was really filling Service was great. Fast. Accommodating. Loved it.

I had the best dinner here the other night! I dined alone that evening since I was in town for work. They quickly asked if I needed an English menu, which I did. The service was great and the silver and tableware was adjusted to what I had ordered. I ordered the escargot which was the best Ive ever had, and the steak with spinach and puréed potatoes. The wine was excellent as well. The guests next to my table I made fast friends with, and they made me feel so welcomed in their country. I will definitely come back here next time I come to Paris. It is located across the street from the Hyatt Regency.

    Selection of 12 oysters 39€

I love this place! This was my second time to this restaurant and it was even better than the first time! Okay first thing's first. They're known for their seafood obvi so don't order anything but. There is a fish market directly next to the restaurant and when you order the seafood they go next door to get the food. We started with a bottle of wine to share. We ordered oysters to start. You can order an assortment of 12 oysters for 39€. They have and always will be the tastiest oysters I've ever had! For appetizers my date ordered the escargot which he maintains was the best dish he tried our entire Europe trip. They are heavy on the pesto/garlic so make sure to brush your teeth after lol. I ordered the bone marrow and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion size. It came with a small salad, which honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of. For our entree we each ordered the scallops. Scallops were a little on the small side but they have us a lot. The dish was creative. The scallops were skewered with a piece of rosemary. They're also served with lobster chunks which was unexpected. The rosemary skewer laid across 3 sweet potatoes. There's also some sort of sauce and idk what it is, but it was heaven. For desert, the creme brûlée. Here's the kicker: upon receiving our check, they discounted 55€ for no reason. The line simply said (in French) discount. Obviously I wasn't going to argue but this took our meal from 200€ to 140€. I am so over Paris but I would totally make a 24 hour stopover to come eat here again. I can't recommend this place enough. I tell everyone about it!

Frog legs and steak tartare... so fresh!
    Sarah E.

Lively spot near where we dropped off from the airport shuttle. We had a crisp bottle of white wine with lunch which was steak tartare with fries and frogs legs broiled in butter and fresh herbs with fried potatoes. The food was very delicious. The tartare was very fresh. A large portion and full of herbs and natural flavors. The frogs legs were petite but juicy and tender. The fresh herbs made it light even though there was a lot of butter. I could have just eaten the juices with some bread. The decor was a fun little touch.

Poor little fellows were just too slow to escape my fork!

Escargot were nice and large, just a hint of garlic, creamy and buttery flavor showcasing their delicate flavor. Oysters were perfect. Shrimp dish was served as expected with heads and shells attached. Although there was not a sauce served with the shrimp, they were so sweet and fresh that a dipping sauce was not needed. The skat/ray wing was perfectly preparted with a smooth and buttery texture. Great wine selection, attentive staff and cozy local neighborhood restaurant vibe, makes an excellent date night!.

seafood platter for two - snails and all - yam!

The food here was magnifique (!) starting with the bread and butter. They get their baguettes from the Maison Lebon (boulangerie pâtisserie | 13 rue Lebon | 75017 Paris) near by, which is worth a visit on its own. My husband and I shared an entrée and a seafood platter for two. The entrée was veal kidneys stew (medium rare) that came with a side of the creamiest mash potatoes. We never had kidneys before so we wanted to try something new. So delicious! The seafood platter was very fresh and tasty. True aphrodisiac! The entrée + seafood platter + wine was under 65 euro. We enjoyed our meals very much. We highly recommend this place!

This was a last minute restaurant recommended by the hotel when we asked for a place with fresh seafood. It is located directly across the street from Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile. The decor is art deco classic French brasserie. We had the onion soup and crab bisque, the onion soup arrived lukewarm but the crab bisque was better. We ordered a platter of seafood that included oysters, periwinkle, mussels, shrimp, and clams - we also added sea urchin (small and briny). Overall the meal was okay, the restaurant is catered to the tourists and hotel guests in the area. The waiters are sliding from table to table and they were not pleasant - he told me they only have champagne in France and there's no such thing as sparkling wine when I asked if they had pétillant. I'm not impressed and I wouldn't go back again.

Nice surprises, including a cute velvet crab, only 5 cm wide but packed full of flavor, brown shrimp, and hard to find cockles.

The seafood was good. Not sure why the dessert cheese plate came with salad. Feels a little pricey for what you get.

The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.

The prices were a bit wild (like everything else in Paris), but I guess that's what we get for stopping into the first place we saw on the street. The menu is pretty eclectic, so don't expect to stop in here with children and be able to get a grilled cheese and fries, it's more of that stuff that people in America eat when they come into some wealth and acquire a new money accent (you know the type).
