Called Jorge on Friday late afternoon and he was there promptly at 9am the next day. I showed him the Window A/C unit I needed installed, he went down to his van, grabbed his tools and was done installing in less than an hour. Job looks great. I recommend Jorge. If I need anything done again, I will call him. read more

Jorge is truly amazing. He came yesterday to hang 2 sets of louver doors in my newly remodeled kitchen. Easy job you would think. Not in my crazy kitchen. He didn't give up and let me tell you folks these doors are art work. He is my new go to guy. Clean, professional, and a smile. read more

Had a bathroom sink that pulled away from the granite top, so i contacted Jorge (LB Handyman on demand). He came out right away, provided a quote and did the job that afternoon. Fast, friendly service! I'll definitely call Jorge next time I need a handyman. read more

Our first experience with LB Handyman was terrific. Jorge and team showed up on time and had our bathroom completely repainted and new fixtures installed in just one day. The price was great, too. We were so happy with the work that we recommended them to neighbors and brought them back for a bigger job months later. That's when we saw the nightmare side of working with someone who (apparently) may not be a licensed contractor. The second job seemed like it should be easy enough - taking out an old oven and replacing it with a new one, plus a fresh coat of paint in the kitchen - but mistakes were made that caused complications. Specifically, the team cut into a cupboard and a sink top using the wrong tool (which we found out when we brought the pics to someone who actually DOES have a contractor's license) and they didn't show up the next day. Or the next. When my husband finally got in touch with Jorge, he was reluctant to come back, saying he needed more money if the job was going to be finished and that he wasn't sure when he could return. NOT COOL, JORGE! We finally got him to agree to return to the job, but he was a no-show. That's when we started questioning the contractor's license. He eventually made it back, but the repairs to the damage done by his team were laughable. A slab of wood had been used to hold up one side of the cupboard they had cut into, which was still clearly leaning at an angle, thin strips of painted wood had been adhered to the countertop to cover the jagged cuts through it, and half the drawers had been painted closed, so when we opened them the paint just peeled right off. Now it's going to cost us about three times as much just to repair the damage done by Jorge and his team. Lesson learned: These guys can handle simple paint jobs and unclogging drains, but if your project has even the slightest need for real tools, find someone else. We never did get a straight answer about the contractor's license, which says a lot. read more

Jorge was very quick to respond and showed up when he said he would. He is professional and I would call him again.

Jorge is fantastic! Not only did he respond right away, he showed up on time, gave a reasonable quote, came back to do the work (on time!) and did a fantastic job demo'ing and retiling our front patio. We will surely be hiring Jorge time and time again for odd jobs around our home. read more

Jorge did a terrific job replacing the light fixtures in our kitchen today. This is a busy time of year for everyone. I called 2 other handymen in the last 2 weeks who didn't call me back (one actually called back when Jorge arrived) soon enough. I was surprised Jorge answered his phone Monday and said he could do the job Wednesday! I would strongly recommend him if you'd like to have a job done professionally, neatly and in the near future. read more

my house was broken into, and I need a fast repair because my door would stay close. The handle and all the hardware had to be replaced the framework was damage. Jorge save the day my door look as good a new. read more

Jorge is great! I tried calling many local handymen to get my fence fixed. I even sent texts with pictures to get estimates, but never got responses from them. I was surprised to get a live person when I called LB Handyman On Demand. Jorge was able to fit me in the next morning. He arrived on time & communication was easy. He gave me a quote along with estimated work time (both very reasonable). Gave me a time frame when he'd return to do the job and sent me a text letting me know he was on his way. I'm happy with his work and professionalism read more

I am so happy of the all the repairs that Grorge did in our bathroom. It was a clean a he gave me a reasonble price! He also did extra little work for some repairs in my house. George also did an excellent job puting new tiles in one of the rooms in my house! He is very detailed and doesn't rush it to make it perfect! I will definitely recommend him! He is also a licensed contractor so you wont go wrong with George! Thanks george for an excellent job done! Looking forward to work with you! read more

I'm a senior citizen and had several small projects that needed to be taken care of in my condo. I received 3 estimates for the work and LB Handyman was the most reasonable of the 3. Jorge arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and thoroughly cleaned up after each of the jobs were done. I was very happy with the work he did on all the projects and have now contracted with him to do more work in the coming week. I am also going to hire him to modernize the lighting in my kitchen. I have looked a long time to find someone I can trust and can call for any job I have. The best part is that he is reasonable with his charges. I think I have finally found the right company for me. I highly recommend this handyman for any work you need done. read more

I was so happy with my previous experience with Jorge, and recommended him to my gf and we both called him numerous times and left numerous messages and he wouldn't call back. Very disappointed with follow up service. He just lost out on some business. read more

Jorge does fantastic work and he charges very reasonable prices. He installed a screen door for us and discovered that we ordered it in the wrong size (too narrow). He created a wood extension and only charged a little more than his original quote. The whole install looks professional now. I asked him to come back and paint our bathroom which had some peeling paint. He sanded, primed, and painted the whole thing and it looks like a brand new bathroom now. For both jobs, he was able to schedule the job in just a few days and he was reliable about coming on time. The best part though is the really high quality job he does. Highly recommended. read more

I can't speak to his work, because he didn't show up or return my calls. We had an appointment set up a few days in advance. I texted him to confirm the time, he suggested a different time, I told him it didn't work for me. He stopped communicating with me after that. read more

It was difficult finding someone to install my air conditioner into my upstairs window. After calling Jorge, he immediately assessed my needs and gave me an extremely reasonable quote over the phone. After calling around for 2 weeks, it was the cheapest I had heard. Hearing him say, "I'll be there in 45 minutes," brought me so much relief. Upon arrival and departure, he was honest, kind, professional, thorough, and trustworthy. I will definitely consider him as a reliable handyman when an independent girl like me needs a little more muscle around the house. Thank you! read more

Jorge did a great job on a pretty big overhaul of a 2 bedroom apartment that had been neglected for years by previous owners. He replaced all the bathroom fixtures, subfloors in both the bathroom and kitchen, painted the entire inside, and did general patch work. His prices were very reasonable and the work was done at the agreed upon date. As with any contractor, get everything in writing and don't make the final payment until the job is done, that said, I would certainly hire him again in the future. He is one of the very few handymen I have ever worked with that did not talk down to me because I was female - a rare find indeed! Sara read more

Excellent work..Jorge came out and bid a job for a swamp cooler removal and installation of 2 gates......he said he could have the job done in 1day.......he completed the task the same day and it looks GREAT. I would HIGHLY recommend his company for ALL of your handyman needs. Jorge is a professional and I'm thankful that I gave him my business. For the price I was charged.....it was a GREAT investment.......call him ......he won't disappoint. read more

Mr. Garibay has completed a number of projects for us. He is honest, hard working, prompt, and efficient. His work is done with pride. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you for all you have done for us Jorge. read more

This guy is a Joke. Never had the experience of him doing any work for me because he was reluctant to do two very easy tasks. I expressed to him all I needed was the hanging of a 50' TV on the wall and to sand and spray paint a galvanized steel kitchen trash can. Let him know I had all of the supplies and that galvanized steel has to be sanded and spray can primed before spray painting it and, he said, " Oh it seems like you know what your doing".( I picked up, then why don't you do it yourself). Then he says, "it seems like a long process". I replied, it seems like you don't know very much about spray painting galvanized steel, and thanked him for his time". I feel if he didn't want to take on the job, he could have said something along the lines of, " Sorry ma'am, this is the holiday season and I have a heavy work load, I would be more than happy to help you if you'll call back after New years". Not brush me off and speak to me as if I was sort of nuisance. He needs to develop some interpersonal communication skills. read more

Jorge provides quick and great service! Our solid wood bedroom door split at the hinge and was totally destroyed. When I called Jorge and explained the problem he was more then helpful and picked up the door the next day. He did a wonderful job repairing the door to look like new. This repaired saved us from have to replace all the bedroom doors. Jorge is great for all home needs and is extremely fair in his pricing! read more

Jorge is absolutely the best. I called him up and got a quick appt. with him. He was gracious and patient with me during a phone consultation re. my honey-dew list. Installing a doggy door of which has an iron security screen meant that some creativity was necessary to produce neat and quality-evident results. Jorge was just that "Handyman" to get the job done. He even reduced the initially quoted price when he saw my door situation. What a blessing!!! He is in a class all by himself. He also installed two ceiling fans in my daughters bedrooms in no time at all...again producing high quality work. He is so amazing and professional that he uses drop cloths etc. to protect ones home and furniture. How thoughtful and selfless in this age of moral-decay. I was preparing to sweep up some dust to support him and his efforts and before I could do so...he was walking up with his own broom and dust pan. Just simply amazing. In an age where most service providers are out to increase their profit; this man exist with a spirit of Integrity that is so rare in this industry. I truly am blessed to have been prompted to call him from my yelp search. God is good. Jorge has a customer for LIFE! One proud home owner, Again thanks Jorge. read more

This is the first time I tried Jorge after reading his good reviews on YELP. I called, he answered right away, came to estimate the job (remove Murphy bed and replace a ceiling lighting fixture) within 40 minutes, gave a reasonable price, did the job right away on-the-spot, is pleasant to work with, and is skilled, fast and did exactly what I needed him to do. I would definitely recommend him, based on my excellent experience with him. read more

We needed a gate replaced ASAP. Called Jorge at 7:45 a.m. He was here at 9, gave us an estimate and promised to be back at 2. He was right on time and got the gate replaced and hung a heave new solid side door to our garage in under 2 hours. Price, considering this was an emergency, same-day job to a homeowner who clearly showed he had no idea what he was doing was excellent. Will be in touch again for more work. read more

This guy is a JOKE. He thinks he is a contractor that subs out his work to his friends, then leaves them alone to do the work. If you want to micromanage his work and tell him how to do it, as well as repeatedly go over the job that was contracted, he IS your man. He doesn't show up on some days...without even notifying you. And, he does the jobs in an incorrect order (all without apology or understandable reasoning). He doesn't listen to what is needed to be done and leaves behind a total mess for the customer to re-do, then tells the customer that they are never happy with the work. DO NOT USE THIS GUY...also, he does not have a license with the Contractor's State Licensing Board (and no liability insurance on his friends). I gave him a bag of stucco that I had, because he complained that he ran out and needed some to finish the job. When that stucco didn't work out, he blamed me and my bag of stucco. He installed door framing and let it hang over the edge so the door hit it. Again, he blamed me for not liking the work. Do NOT let him touch your home unless you want things destroyed...he blames everyone else for his inadequecies. read more
