They do excellent work and use high-quality products, resulting in a job that lasts. I have used several different painters over the years and none of their work has lasted as Flores' work does. Every time I use Flores Painting (and they have done some wood work for me as well as painting) I am not only impressed and pleased with the work they have done, but sooner or later I notice there was some other little thing they made better for me while they were here. I got a quote and talked to 4 different companies when I needed some work done in my kitchen and living room. I tend to go with my gut on these decisions and even though Flores painting wasn't the cheapest quote I had (wasn't the most expensive either) I ended going with them because of how genuine and well versed Angel seemed with his craft. I was extremely happy with my decision and very satisfied with the work. The attention to detail that these guys have is a lost art. Their estimate was outrageous,it was 14k for a living room and hallway. I understand they are busy but considering they had done previous work for me and know how much they charge me for much more difficult work. I had my small stucco house I own painted by Martin. He and his crew did an excellent job. They made the fine cracks in the stucco disappear by properly prepping them, and they removed all of the old, cracked caulk from around the windows and re-caulked very professionally. Martin worked with me on wrapping the trim rather than just painting the face of it and didn't charge extra for this. He was instrumental in helping me choose the perfect colors. The house looks better than I ever imagined possible. His price was very reasonable. I recommend him highly. read more

We recently bought a house in Long Beach that was built in the 50s and needed upgrades: door/window trim and casings, baseboards, ceilings, and paint were all either original and needed improvement. Angel and his dad, Angel Sr. came out for the initial estimate and were on time, friendly, and helpful to all our needs. Most importantly, they took the time to not only listen attentively, but offered very helpful suggestions on how and what we needed to do. His prices were very reasonable; his organization and attention to detail were impressive as well. During the entire work process, Angel did exceptional work, stayed on time, cleaned up each day AND also completed extra fixes (not included in the original estimate) around the house. I don't usually write reviews but this one deserved a great one. Angel was super knowledgeable. He answered and explained EVERY SINGLE question I had with excellent detail. He was professional and honest when he came by for an estimate and arrived on time. The work came out amazing, above and beyond what I expected. Love how they use only the best and premium products which makes a huge difference. He took the time to demonstrate the difference for me visually which was pretty cool. I've had work done previously by other cheaper contractors and while I saved a few pennies, the final product was not as great. The difference here is night and day, quality is like an old flip phone vs latest apple phone. I will certainly pay a little more to have this level of premium job any day, totally worth the investment and glad I went with Angel and his team. His team is also a pleasure to work with, very accommodating and friendly. The father and son duo, Angel Jr. and Angel Sr., and the team of professionals that work with them, make you feel as if they are taking care of a home that belongs to them. They are very detailed and even thought of enhancing, strengthening, and updating parts of my home that I never thought of. They work so well as a team, but together they built, designed, and installed my faux black shutters aside my windows around the perimeter of our home, and also built a whole fence which is beautiful and very sturdy!!!! Oh yeah, they also made a brand new water heater door! And the exterior? They sanded, scraped, re-crown molded (if that's a word) the warped wood along the siding, added additional wood below our window sills to enhance the appearance to make the windows look new once they were painted white. They took time to prep our home and detached garage correctly before starting to paint. The paint job is impeccable! Can you believe they even did some digging underneath the dirt and rocks to make sure to paint underneath what the naked eye doesn't see? They painted the vents on the roof to match our home. Little nuances like painting our mailbox and doorbell ( I would have never thought of that). I could go on and on with how satisfied I am with Flores Painting and probably left out many other things they did to improve the value of our home. My boyfriend and I just had our home painted by Flores Painting. What an outstanding job and company! I do not usually bother with Yelp reviews, unless they are absolutely great. Flores Painting deserves this review. Angel responded quickly and with enthusiasm, and right away we liked him the best out of all the other companies we consulted. They got started on our house right away. It wasn't easy as we also had crown moulding also installed, and my daughter was home from college for her break, along with her puppy. But we knew it would be worth it in the end. And it was! I commend Flores Painting for doing such great work while having to put up with us. He didn't rush the job, applied two coats of the highest quality of the well-respected Benjamin Moore paint lineup, with exceptional effort at protecting our furniture and personal items while painting! He even applied a third coat on our living room ceiling, just because he said..."I think it should have one more coat!" Mr Flores is a person of integrity, honesty, high character and rare work-ethic. I asked him to do items not originally quoted, which he happily did at a bare minimal extra charge! This painter is one of those rare finds in the painting contractor world. He doesn't advertise, and is booked up far ahead via customer personal referrals...the way we learned of his services! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Flores Painting. I called them for an estimate to have my entire kitchen painted. They were prompt in responding and gave a very fair estimate. They arrived on the day of the painting and quickly got to work. As they were working, Angel found several things which needed to be repaired, such as a loose cabinet and a missing piece from the baseboard. He fixed both items without charging an additional fee. Furthermore, he shaved a door which was sticking without hesitation and did not charge me for that either. Their attention to detail and professionalism is impeccable. I am so happy with the final product and will actually be hiring them to remodel my entire kitchen in the coming months. Just had Flores Painting at the house to paint a living room and dining room area and parts of a family room. Not a small job with old wood 12' ceiling and wood paneled walls. Lots of prep work as you can imagine with sanding and caulking. What a remarkable job they did. And that's just the half of it. Working with Angel was a pleasure. The guy is a class act. Even though we had to change our original schedule to work around installation of some new hardware flooring Angel dealt with it and made it work. Nice man as is his father and a wonderful crew.
