My boyfriend and I just had our home painted by Flores Painting. What an outstanding job and company! I do not usually bother with Yelp reviews, unless they are absolutely great. Flores Painting deserves this review. Angel responded quickly and with enthusiasm, and right away we liked him the best out of all the other companies we consulted. They got started on our house right away. It wasn't easy as we also had crown moulding also installed, and my daughter was home from college for her break, along with her puppy. But we knew it would be worth it in the end. And it was! I commend Flores Painting for doing such great work while having to put up with us. We will have phase II done in January, 2017 (without the daughter or puppy) for the upstairs. We will definitely hire Flores Painting again. read more

This company is amazing! They are a family business father and son and it is so admirable to see their dedication and work ethic. They were responsive, prompt and did excellent work with attention to detail. I highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future. My husband is very picky when it comes to detail and painting and he was very impressed and happy with the work they did. They refinished our front door and it looks brand new. If I could give them more stars I would. read more

Needed the exterior of my house to be painted. I was referred to Flores painting by a friend, and felt immediately welcomed by Angel in our conversations. Angel was helpful and fair. He was able to get a crew out to my house very soon after our conversation. He and his crew were extremely professional and clean. I also appreciated that he was consistent with us and very transparent. I was extremely happy with the final product of this company's work and would highly recommend anyone to work directly with Angel for future projects. read more

Flores Painting just finished painting the exterior of our house. As always Angel did a wonderful job. We have used his company for several projects over the last few years and can't say enough about the quality of the work. From receiving the estimate to the prep work and painting everything has always gone smoothly. Angel is professional and takes care of all the details of the job. We would not hesitate to recommend Angel for any painting project. read more

This review is long overdue. I have used Flores Painting several times and have always been impressed with the results. They do excellent work and use high-quality products, resulting in a job that lasts. I have used several different painters over the years and none of their work has lasted as Flores' work does. Every time I use Flores Painting (and they have done some wood work for me as well as painting) I am not only impressed and pleased with the work they have done, but sooner or later I notice there was some other little thing they made better for me while they were here. They provide high quality work at a very reasonably price. I cannot recommend Flores Painting more highly. read more

I got a quote and talked to 4 different companies when I needed some work done in my kitchen and living room. I tend to go with my gut on these decisions and even though Flores painting wasn't the cheapest quote I had (wasn't the most expensive either) I ended going with them because of how genuine and well versed Angel seemed with his craft. I was extremely happy with my decision and very satisfied with the work. The attention to detail that these guys have is a lost art. They made sure that every inch of their work looked pristine even if that part of the home was going to be hidden behind a piece of furniture. They're punctual and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely be using Flores Painting in the future read more

Requested a qoute for my living room and hallway. Since i hired them 3 years ago and they did a great job i wanted to hire the again. Their estimate was outrageous,it was 14k for a living room and hallway. I understand they are busy but considering they had done previous work for me and know how much they charge me for much more difficult work. Not sure why the huge increase in price. 7x more than thier previous work. read more

I had my small stucco house I own painted by Martin. He and his crew did an excellent job. They made the fine cracks in the stucco disappear by properly prepping them, and they removed all of the old, cracked caulk from around the windows and re-caulked very professionally. Martin worked with me on wrapping the trim rather than just painting the face of it and didn't charge extra for this. He was instrumental in helping me choose the perfect colors. The house looks better than I ever imagined possible. His price was very reasonable. I recommend him highly. read more

Flores Painting may be one of the best businesses I have ever found on Yelp. We recently bought a house in Long Beach that was built in the 50s and needed upgrades: door/window trim and casings, baseboards, ceilings, and paint were all either original and needed improvement. Angel and his dad, Angel Sr. came out for the initial estimate and were on time, friendly, and helpful to all our needs. Most importantly, they took the time to not only listen attentively, but offered very helpful suggestions on how and what we needed to do. His prices were very reasonable; his organization and attention to detail were impressive as well. During the entire work process, Angel did exceptional work, stayed on time, cleaned up each day AND also completed extra fixes (not included in the original estimate) around the house. He and his team are are genuinely nice people that want to make your house beautiful and perfect as if it were their own. Angel actually came back on a weekend to double check and fix/touch up any missed work...unbelievable attention to detail and service! I will be wholeheartedly recommending Angel to any friends, coworkers, and family that need carpentry or painting work. He has definitely earned a customer for life. read more

After purchasing a new home, we needed 4 rooms painted and Flores painting was our go to guys. I cannot say enough about Angel, his father, and his crew! Go with Flores Painting, they will absolutely exceed your expectations! read more

Flores Painting - Previously a dark mauve color, we couldn't be happier with the color and coverage! - Painters Near Me

I don't usually write reviews but this one deserved a great one. Angel was super knowledgeable. He answered and explained EVERY SINGLE question I had with excellent detail. He was professional and honest when he came by for an estimate and arrived on time. The work came out amazing, above and beyond what I expected. Love how they use only the best and premium products which makes a huge difference. He took the time to demonstrate the difference for me visually which was pretty cool. I've had work done previously by other cheaper contractors and while I saved a few pennies, the final product was not as great. The difference here is night and day, quality is like an old flip phone vs latest apple phone. I will certainly pay a little more to have this level of premium job any day, totally worth the investment and glad I went with Angel and his team. His team is also a pleasure to work with, very accommodating and friendly. Would for sure contract them again for any future projects and will definitely recommend to my friends and family. read more

If you're looking for someone trustworthy to paint the exterior of your home, you can stop Yelping and trust Flores Painting. The father and son duo, Angel Jr. and Angel Sr., and the team of professionals that work with them, make you feel as if they are taking care of a home that belongs to them. They are very detailed and even thought of enhancing, strengthening, and updating parts of my home that I never thought of. They work so well as a team, but together they built, designed, and installed my faux black shutters aside my windows around the perimeter of our home, and also built a whole fence which is beautiful and very sturdy!!!! Oh yeah, they also made a brand new water heater door! And the exterior? They sanded, scraped, re-crown molded (if that's a word) the warped wood along the siding, added additional wood below our window sills to enhance the appearance to make the windows look new once they were painted white. They took time to prep our home and detached garage correctly before starting to paint. The paint job is impeccable! Can you believe they even did some digging underneath the dirt and rocks to make sure to paint underneath what the naked eye doesn't see? They painted the vents on the roof to match our home. Little nuances like painting our mailbox and doorbell ( I would have never thought of that). I could go on and on with how satisfied I am with Flores Painting and probably left out many other things they did to improve the value of our home. Just consider them if you're looking to beautify your own. My husband and I have no complaints. And yes, well worth the price that was quoted! read more

I was really impressed by this company. I was lucky to to catch them when they were not on a large project. My project was very small. They gave me a quote on a Thursday and they were able to do the work the next day. The price was reasonable and the work was impeccable. I would definitely use them again in the future. read more

Your search has ended! I suggest you'll never find a painter better than Mr Angel Flores! Along with his crew -- a UC Davis educated son (Angel Jr, and 20 year on his crew capable Chris--Mr Flores does an outstanding job! He didn't rush the job, applied two coats of the highest quality of the well-respected Benjamin Moore paint lineup, with exceptional effort at protecting our furniture and personal items while painting! He even applied a third coat on our living room ceiling, just because he said..."I think it should have one more coat!" Mr Flores is a person of integrity, honesty, high character and rare work-ethic. I asked him to do items not originally quoted, which he happily did at a bare minimal extra charge! This painter is one of those rare finds in the painting contractor world. He doesn't advertise, and is booked up far ahead via customer personal referrals...the way we learned of his services! I've seen his distinctive blue van around our Seal Beach neighborhood for years; and asked customer's for their thoughts. EVERYONE gave the highest recommendation! After job cleanup left our home actually cleaner than when he started. Mr Flores took the time to educated me with many pro tricks to painting, as I've painted exterior and interiors over the 4 decades owing our home! I'm proud to give the greatest personal Yelp review of 10 Thumps Up! read more

Angel came to my house to give me an estimate. First he told me that it would be $3,000 for paint and a total of $14,000 for the exterior. (I was pretty shocked to say the least.) I still wanted to get an estimate so he said that he'd email it to me. It's been about 3-weeks. No estimate yet. read more

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Flores Painting. I called them for an estimate to have my entire kitchen painted. They were prompt in responding and gave a very fair estimate. They arrived on the day of the painting and quickly got to work. As they were working, Angel found several things which needed to be repaired, such as a loose cabinet and a missing piece from the baseboard. He fixed both items without charging an additional fee. Furthermore, he shaved a door which was sticking without hesitation and did not charge me for that either. Their attention to detail and professionalism is impeccable. I am so happy with the final product and will actually be hiring them to remodel my entire kitchen in the coming months. This is by far the BEST contractor/painter I've ever worked with...and I've worked with many. Do not hesitate to hire Angel Flores and his crew. read more

I had my house recently painted by Flores Painting and I could not be more pleased. The experience I had with this Father and Son(s) company was beyond great from start to finish. They were professional, kind and courteous and made what is usually a stressful experience, seemless. They took the time to explain the process, were extremely detail oriented and even cleaned up everyday when they were done. I will definitely be using them for my painting needs in the future. They turned my little stucco box of a house into the beauty I knew she could be. Thank you Flores Painting! read more

Sent a message here on yelp and also called and left a voicemail never got a reply or a call back.

Just had Flores Painting at the house to paint a living room and dining room area and parts of a family room. Not a small job with old wood 12' ceiling and wood paneled walls. Lots of prep work as you can imagine with sanding and caulking. What a remarkable job they did. And that's just the half of it. Working with Angel was a pleasure. The guy is a class act. Even though we had to change our original schedule to work around installation of some new hardware flooring Angel dealt with it and made it work. Nice man as is his father and a wonderful crew. These guys aren't the cheapest by far but they are real pros and you get what you pay for. Outstanding! read more

Flores Painting did such a FANTASTIC job of interior painting in my home last month (3/7/13). Initially I hired them to paint just one room, but as I witnessed their careful preparation, removal of switchplates, covering with plastic and taping off, I knew I'd found true professionals who care about the quality of their work-- so I expanded the scope of the job to include painting accent walls in two other rooms. The rooms look so beautiful. I couldn't be happier-- and I'm *extremely* particular and detail-oriented. I look forward to hiring them again for future projects. --KC in Huntington Beach CA read more

Flores painters Lorenzo and Angel just finished painting the interior of my home. They did a wonderful job. The interior looks like new. They did a lot of preparation -- filling in nail holes and sanding the surface to make walls smooth. Lorenzo made a custom mantel for my fireplace, which is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this company if you would like an expert job. read more
