Immediate response to request. Bobby is the owner & he came out to bid. He also was here the first day to brief the crew. Very efficient and finished exterior painting within the stated timeline. The crew was efficient, professional and worked with only a lunch break and cleaned up after themselves. Demi, the office manager was very friendly & communicative when needed. The highest of 4 bids but Bobby gave answers before questions were asked, unlike the other 3 companies; Although I knew 2 of the 3 other bids, Bobby gave me the confidence the job would be done right. read more

I would absolutely recommend Hendrix Painting. They were reasonably priced and did great work. We were very happy with them and will use them again. read more

Hendrix painting is great. The estimate was provided on sight. The owner, David, personally walked the job with me and provided the cost on site. We agreed on the price and service, and they provided me a written copy / contract. The office manager, Demi followed up quickly with scheduling options. We agreed and the painting crew showed up as scheduled and stayed on the job until completed. Demi followed up with several site visits to assure the work crew had the materials they needed and if we had any questions or concerns. The entire team is very professional, and the work is excellent. You will be very happy with the results! read more

I own a triplex apartment building that was in need of significant stucco repair and repainting to match the existing exterior. Because it's a rental property, I didn't want to repaint the entire complex and instead chose a more targeted, piecemeal approach to save money. From the start, Bobby the owner, was fantastic to work with. He took the time to walk the property with me, listened carefully, and was incredibly patient in understanding exactly what I wanted to accomplish. His guidance was thoughtful, and he provided a clear, fair, and competitive estimate. Demi handled all of the scheduling and communication, and she truly made the process seamless. She kept me informed every step of the way and was always responsive, which gave me tremendous peace of mind throughout the project. I stopped by the job site during the work and was very impressed with the quality of the stucco repairs. This was not a quick surface fix -- all loose and damaged stucco was thoroughly dug out and cleaned before repairs were made. Luis did exceptional work and matched the stucco texture perfectly; you honestly cannot tell where the repairs were done. After the project was finished, I did a final walkthrough and noticed a few minor items that needed to be corrected. Demi immediately addressed them and had someone out the very next morning to take care of everything. That level of follow-through and responsiveness really stood out. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. The workmanship, communication, and professionalism exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation. read more

First, let me say I was referred to Hendrix from one of our Clients, he has done exterior paint for him for years. I saw the workmanship and hired them to do a 10 unit building in Downey, and ever since, they have been my go to Painting Contractor to do all our properties! Craftmanship is the best way to describe them. Attention to detail and prep is very important to me, and that is what they do. Anyone can slop on some paint, but if you prep well, that paint job will shine! They have done the 10 unit, a Triplex, and touch up on an 8 unit and now a 7 unit for us, all superb jobs! Thanks David and Crew!!!! Awesome to work with you for so many years! read more

FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. We needed our back cinderblock wall painted and initially reached out to a few people that were recommended by neighbors. They were just Joe Shmoes and their communication was poor and their quotes high. After this, we decided to go with a reputable company. From our initial conversation with Vanessa to the completion of the wall with the guys, every interaction left us so impressed. They were professional, responsive, and quick. Their quote was lower than we received from random unlicensed handymen. We ended up booking the job for a day when we were coming back from vacation and wouldn't actually be home, so David came by in advance to make sure our communication was clear and our needs were met. We came home to the most beautiful job. It was meticulously done. My husband joked that he searched and searched for a single imperfection and couldn't find one. In a world where competence is not so common, a company like Hendrix is a breath of fresh air. We will absolutely be using them again soon and can't recommend them enough. read more

Hendrix Painting is the Best of the Best and I can't recc them enough. Family owned and operated, they are professional, timely and do detailed and excellent work across the board. They handled our interior and exterior painting needs for the renovation of our home in Los Altos. We also commissioned them to re-do the painting of our fence which also required a bit of reconstruction work which they gladly took on as well. Demi, Bobby and their entire team were a pleasure to work with and we'll be using them in the future for all of our painting and reno needs. read more

From the first phone call to schedule an estimate to the last final walk through Hendrix painting delivered. Their prices are reasonable and the work provided is stellar. Jr and the guys were on time and prompt to start their work. They were professional and courteous and most importantly they delivered a solid work. Bobby checked in on the work routinely to ensure things went smooth. Ryan was there to make sure All details were covered. The results I couldn't be more happy. My property is my investment and with going with Hendrix , the return on my investment is solid! Recommend Hendrix to anyone who wants reasonable prices and with above average results. I had never heard of Hendrix Painting before finding them on Yelp. We decided to get a quote based on the good reviews I read. As we compared Hendrix to our other quotes, we decided to move forward in hiring them because of the quality of paint they were going to use, the process described, their good work guarantee, reasonable quote, pay when happy and a good feel for David's integrity. We explained to him we are very particular and detail oriented. He assured us we would be happy with his painters work and he was spot on! Working with Demi on the scheduling and any issues was a delight. Kevin was the foreman. He was very communicative and directed the painters well. One day, my husband happen to witness one of the painters come down off a ladder and accidentally step on a pipe that was part of our main water shut off. A day later, I noticed the area starting to slowly puddle with water. My husband flew out of state. Kevin looked at it and said the pipe was rusted and said it wasn't their fault, which concerned me. David came to access it and agreed to take care of it since his painter caused the break. That's honesty and integrity which we appreciated. He took care of it right away. Kevin suggested we consider painting the block wall. It was not a hard sale, just a suggestion. I asked for a quote, which we thought was reasonable, so we moved ahead. They did a wonderful job filling any gaps. It looks so nice! With my husband gone, I did the walk through alone and found a few things which they tended to right away. When my husband returned home from out of state, he found a few more things. One example was there were a couple of sprinkler heads that were not covered properly which clogged them, but they took care of it promptly. Hendrix guaranteed their work for 5 years. They stayed on schedule and the job took about 12 business days to complete as quoted. I can honestly say, Hendrix will be our go to now for any future painting needs. read more

Hendrix Painting did a fantastic job painting the ugly concrete wall in our backyard. We wanted to have it done in time for a party and they were very accommodating in getting it done quickly. They also pointed out that our patio cover would look nice with a fresh coat of paint and wow, were they right. It looks a million times better. I'm so happy they suggested it. It really transformed the yard. Their prices are reasonable and the owners David and Bobby are the nicest guys in the world. Highly recommend! read more

I reached out to Hendrix painting inquiring about a paint job and they got back to me very quickly with a quote and estimated start date. They came on time and did fantastic work! After they completed a pressure wash and paint job, I noticed a few minor issues and they came back at 7am the next day to fix it! 10/10 customer service and amazing work! Very happy and will be using them for all paint needs in the future. read more

Professional/Professional and clean. In many cases the most important point for me is how professional the painters are. Hendrix's painters and the company always do a professional job. The area is prepared so the job will look great for years. I have had painters who will leave excess paint and drops and does not look professional. Hendrix's does such a great job and the paint and everything just looks great. They arrive on time and never leave a mess. I highly recommend them for home and office. Hendrix Painting painted my office over a year ago and I am very happy. The job looks great and looks like it was just done. Again so professional I highly recommend them. read more

Dave came out and gave me an estimate for interior painting. The estimate was fair. Hendrix Painting - Painters Near Me

5 years ago my family and I were blessed with the house we've always wanted. For its 5th year anniversary we wanted to start changes by changing out the gingerbread brown color (which I was never in love with) of our house to a more modern look. I started looking around for painters on yelp and lucked out and found Hendrix Painting. David came out and quoted me on the spot. I told him I wanted white and black trim. He assured me that the white would be bright white (without any of the old color showing through) which is what I was worried about at first after seeing several white painted homes in the neighborhood. I had other quotes from other companies and their prices were ridiculous! About 2-3 times MORE compared to Hendrix's quote. Fast forward to our exterior house paint appointment and everything went smoothly from the first day. I met with Ryan who did the power wash to prep the house for paint who was very helpful with the whole process. The following day their other team members Stu and Frank (they had other painters but I didn't get to meet personally) who was very courteous and made sure they had all the details right before they started the job. I communicated with Vanessa and Demi via email and they were SUPER helpful with some questions and additions I wanted along with this project. Overall, I'd rate HENDRIX PAINTING a 10/ 10! This was our first 'adulting' project for the house and we're so thankful that Hendrix made it so easy for us. Also, did I mention the actual paint job?! AMAZINGGGG! The house totally looks like a new house with the fresh paint! I've posted my before and after photos on my instagram/ Facebook and got several people asking me where we went. I'm for sure going to recommend Hendrix to friends and family because of the top notch service we received. :) Thank you!! read more

Hendrix Painting is a phenomenal company to work with. Highly recommend their services. Had a 21ft wood shingle chimney converted to stucco to modernize the look of the home. Dealing with a HOA and City Permit requirements meant that there was a long lead time between original quote through work done. Patience, communication, trust in their workmanship and honest work ethic meant a great deal to me considering that when a major issue came up, responsibility was accepted and promptly resolved. I have recommended Hendrix Painting to my HOA for other residents seeking to do the same conversion. As a final note, chatting with Demi was something i always looked forward too because it felt like i was chatting with a good friend. It made the whole experience feel safe and gave me the feeling that i found a great company to work with. read more

I am not sure why Hendrix Painting has 3.5 stars or so few reviews. They are 5 Star Great! I was introduced to Hendrix when they painted by neighbors house 3 years ago. Although I did and do not like the color they did a great job. The neighbor who has since moved is quite particular so I figured if Hendrix could get a job done for my neighbor they may work for me. I made an appointment with David Hendrix who came out to look at my job. We talked about expectations, paint quality, colors and clean up. I later met David's dad Bobby who was just great. They do not sell, they just talk about the project offering their thoughts on what needs to be done. They gave me a competitive bid based on my expectations (which were/are quite high) and I have never looked back since. It has been a couple of years since my house was painted but it still looks great and I get many compliments. Further, they have painted multiple investment properties (apartment buildings) and I have referred them to several friends. In ALL cases, Hendrix Painting surpassed expectations. I cannot imagine using any other painting contractor. They adjust their processes to meet your needs and they always exceed expectations. read more

As a property owner I am always happy when I get an excellent job done for the lowest price. Usually you get what you pay for, but in this case I think I got more. The job was to completely paint a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and to replace the popcorn ceilings with a smooth finish and paint. And getting it done quickly was important. I got quotes from from 5 local painting contractors. Prices ranged from low $4K to well over $7K. Hendrix Painting was the lowest by several hundred dollars. Normally I would be concerned that I wouldn't be getting the quality job I expected if I take the lowest price. Fortunately, after 30 years of experience hiring contractors I have a well developed sense of when I'm being feed BS. After meeting David for the job estimate walkthrough I could tell he knew what he was doing and was being straight with me. I had decided I wanted to give him a try even before he quoted me the price. Being one of the first quotes I wasn't sure if his price was the best. But the thing that really intrigued me is that David explained that he wouldn't need advance payment or even progress payments, just pay it all, labor and materials, after they complete the job to my complete satisfaction. You need to have complete confidence in your work to put it on the line like that. Well the job turned out very nicely. The ceiling work and painting really updated the whole feel of the apartment. The work was completed expeditiously as promised. The premises were left in a clean condition, which isn't easy when scraping acoustic material from the ceilings. They got in there and got it done which helped get it back on the market quickly and rented at an updated market rate. Thank you David and Hendrix Painting crew. read more

Dave and his team are amazing! My husband and I bought our first condo and it needed some love. There were purple and gray walls, uneven paint jobs, black door ways, popcorn ceilings everywhere and the kitchen cabinets were wonky... Dave was very communicative and honest from the beginning, he gave us a very fair price and worked with me on moving the date when our escrow got delayed. He was very responsive and patient with all my questions. The ceilings look beautiful, smooth and even. I never thought a ceiling could look so good! We wanted light colored walls and they look very even considering the amount of sloppy painting that was done before. They basically painted the entire inside of our condo , closets and all and it really looks like a brand new place. They refinished the kitchen cabinets and they look so sharp and clean. I even asked them to do the balcony last minute and they were able to arrange that. Thank you Hendrix Painting! You are definitely my go to for any and all painting/ceiling needs. read more

We were very pleased with Hendrix Painting, in every respect. Their bid for the exterior of our two story house and garage was neither the highest nor lowest one we obtained, but it was quite reasonable for the high quality work they performed and the 5 year guarantee. They came on schedule, their staff were professional and courteous and they completed the job on time as promised. They invited us to let them know if there were any adjustments to make after everything dried, and we did contact them to touch up a few spots and unstick a couple of windows. They came promptly and graciously and took care of these few items. When our job was completed, we highly recommended them to our daughter for painting the interior of her house. read more
