Tony and team did an EXCELLENT job painting the interior of our home. Their work was impeccable, they kept all areas clean, and communication was always clear. Not to mention they completed the work in record time but without sparing detail. Highly recommend! read more

10/10 recommend. We had a great experience with Anthony and his team. Everything was handled exactly as promised. Wendell, the supervisor, did an amazing job leading the project and was very hands-on with his team. They worked efficiently and were extremely detail-oriented, which we really appreciated. Our house got a much-needed uplift thanks to Negrini. We truly appreciate the hard work and craftsmanship and would highly recommend Anthony, Wendell, and their team to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality painting work. read more

to start, the owner i'm assuming went to shake my hand and warned me of his Gotti ring SMH. Took one look around my one bedroom apartment and quoted me over $5500 WTF! said he would need a week and a crew of 4-5 guys. bro i painted my apartment a few years ago myself and it took 2 days, me alone! this guy is big rip off, go with Aguilar Painting! Aguilar Painting came in and looked at every room asks a lot of questions and sent me a quote the next morning for 1/4 of the price rip off Negrini did. read more

Edited: Just wanted to thank Mr. Negrini for the unsolicited romantic advice in his response back to me. Additionally, wanted to share the last comment for transparency, so that you all have a better sense of whether or not to work with this gentleman. ---------- Prior Review: Just for context, he provided a no-look quote (as did several others) - most others. I provided clear instructions on what I needed. Here was a my message that I sent to several folks: --- Hi there! Could you help me with my project? Here are my answers to Yelp's questions regarding my project: --- What kind of painting or staining service do you need? --- Interior painting --- What do you need painted or stained? --- Entire interior --- Approximately, how large is the area that needs work? --- 2000 - 2500 sq ft --- When do you require this service? --- As soon as possible --- Are there any other details you'd like to share? --- - Home is roughly 2,000-2,200 sq ft - 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom --- - Hall has a High-Ceiling --- - Requires a Two Tone (one color for baseboards and crown molding, one color for body of the home) --- - Need a single coat only - just refreshing existing colors --- - Walls are in great condition (minimum patch-ups required) --- - Can you please provide a high-level estimate? When can you start? How long would it take? --- In what location do you need the service? --- 90701, CA, US Most quotes I received were between 3k to 4.8k. Mr. Negrini responds and says that his quote is 16.5k. All others that have given quotes also did not see the property and provided a reasonable ballpark estimate. When I asked why it's 6 times as much. He laughed and said 3k isn't high level and it's for 2 labors and 3 man crew - which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. No one in their right mind and in the current economy is about spend 16.5k. In any case, I'd stay far away from this unless you want to pay $16.5k for extra coats, and get a "high level" job or whatever that is. read more

We give the work 5 stars. The crew came out, painted our house on schedule and on budget, and the house looks great. Working with Mr. Negrini, we give one star. There are many reviews praising his honesty/integrity, so we're blaming our problems with him on communications issues. We hired a licensed contractor with the expectation of certain business practices, such as paying by check. At the time we signed the contract, our expectations were met: our down payment for the work was made by check. Not so fast. The night before the job was to end, Negrini demanded cash, over $9,000 of it. Paying by check was, to him, a violation of our agreement. Should we pay by check, he threatened to add $3,000 to the cost of the job. OK, cash. But, if you are going to demand "green money," you give a couple of days for the funds to be transferred, the cash procured, etc. No dice: he demanded we come up with $9,000 in green money in less than 24 hours. Thanks to my wife and I spending all day chasing financial institutions, we made it happen, coming home from the bank with a big sack of $100 bills. In our world, checks and cash are the same thing. We think it's because we do everything by the book. We don't know what business practices Negrini has in place that force him to demand same day cash. However, it leaves us with many questions and a sense of relief that the work was completed without incident. [End of review] Following the posting of our review, things went from bad to worse with Mr. Negrini, who commented to us as follows via Yelp: ---- 4/20/2022 Your so full of shit. I knew you were going to be a PIA Dont call hear again. I didn't read but 2 sentences. I take cash as a discount. Cash is green cash...you were told that and I didn't argue when you didn't want to. I told the guys that were doing your job that if you left a bad review then the party was over and they didn't have a job....your the biggest asshole I've ever worked for! ---- If we're reading his comment properly, he is saying his crew "didn't have a job" because of our review, despite our 5 star rating for them. He additionally texted us as follows: ---- +1 (562) 986-9771: You just cost 2 guys and there family a living....congratulations! Luis: Wendell and his crew do excellent work and will always be in demand. I'm not worried for them. +1 (562) 986-9771: Well ill make sure il return the favor....hmm wonder where you work ---- His words speak for themselves. read more

Negrini Painting went above and beyond my expectations. His crew showed up on time and finished painting a day before what I was quoted. Awhile ago we had Negrini's Painting repaint the entire inside of our house. Anthony came out and gave us a quote that included painting all of the garage shelves and cabinets and said that he doubted it would need two coats but that he would work with us if it was needed. His head painter tried to tell me he thinks it needed two coats...but Anthony quieted him. That put me a bit on edge but since they had good reviews we figured it would still be a decent price even it it needed two coats. Unfortunately, what we ended up with was an average/mediocre paint job with drips, nails left in the walls and painted over, plug/switch covers not put back on, and was of course informed later that it didn't include the doors. We of course also needed to pay for an additIonal coat that his head painter tried to warn us of. Bringing it to the cost that was close to what another reputable painter quoted me and that I was referred to by a neighbor. Also, the garage cabinets were also not painted as promised, even though we pointed and went through and showed him what needed to be included. He offered to come out and paint them for additional cost...but we just did it ourselves. I am aware that Negrini's obviously has several painting teams, but I would not recommend the service that we received. We wished that we had paid just a bit more and waited for the painters that we were referred to by a friend. read more

Everything about this experience was great. Anthony had a 2 guys at our place within a couple days from my initial call. They everyone was polite, responsive, on time and done at an affordable cost. We booked without looking at time and material, purchased the paint we wanted. It couldn't have gone smoother. read more

Anthony and his crew did a phenomenal job painting the interior of my house. They were clean, meticulous, and took care of every detail. They also communicated quite a lot during the process to get my input/approval. Ivan and Arturo worked tirelessly to get the job done. It's so refreshing to have workers show up on time and every day! Negrini is not the least expensive for painting but you sure get what you it for. read more

My wife and I hired Negrini Painting for a total skim coat makeover on our new home. Tony came out and gave a fair estimate and assessment of the scope of the work. This was to be a three week project involving every surface of the house. Ivan and his crew of guys really knocked it out of the park. They worked long hours and weekends to meet the deadline so we could move in. The work they did is perfect. Not to mention they protected all of our existing fixtures, floors, etc. There was not a single drop of wayward paint anywhere in the house. I would recommend Negrini to anyone looking for professional work to be done on their property. read more

I would give them a million stars if I could. Our kitchen was refaced early in 2021 but we were never happy with how it turned out (it looked dull, there was no pop to the blue), then when you add in puppy teething to the corners and bottoms, you get the before picture. We hired 2 of Negrini's guys for a day to fix as much as they could and it turned out amazing, beyond my dreams. It was the kitchen we wanted from a year ago with the prior contractor but he just didn't have the skill to do! You can't even tell where the puppy damage was, the color pops, and, even though it was painted via brush vs spray, I can't find a single brush stroke. We will be hiring them again for all our painting needs! read more

Anthony the owner is a wonderful person to work with. He's open, honest, and professional and so is his team. I hired Negrini painting to paint my kitchen and dining room. The job was done in a day including the crown molding and trim. I am completely happy on the outcome and highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Funny story, I was watching tv as the painting was being done when all of a sudden I saw a rat in my hallway I quickly went to the kitchen and told the painters what I just saw they grabbed their heavy paint tarps trapped an killed the rat. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. I would have freaked out if I had been alone. read more

Negrini Painting did an awesome job on our home. Anthony, the owner, came out and gave us a quote. His team, Wendell, Victor and Abel worked tirelessly and meticulously scraping, sanding and then repainting our home. You could tell they take pride in their work. They were very responsive to our questions and finished in a timely manner. read more

Long story short, our previous general contractor screwed us and left the job undone. Called Anthony to come and quote a paint job for a backyard project (pool house) He came by the next day. Anthony was honest and straight shooter. He pointed out all the defects left behind by the previous contractor. He estimated it would take his crew 2-3 days to complete the drywall and siding repairs and paint the structure inside and out, as well as touch up some of our areas of our house. His quote was fair and we scheduled the work for a couple weeks out as some other work had to be complete prior to paint. His crew of 3 painters showed up on time every day, were courteous and efficient. Very professional in the their prep and clean Up. We are happy with the results and will use Anthony and his team to repaint our main house when the time comes. read more

I had a relatively last minute request to paint my house and Anthony accommodated my timeline quickly. Greg did a fantastic and thorough, high quality paint job. Having Negrini Painting do our paint project was the best decision we could've made . After meeting with a few other companies we were impressed with not only Anthony's prompt response but the ease of meeting with his crew lead Rudy . He explained all that was needed to complete the job and was considerate in working with our schedule. Rudy and the crew arrived on time and finished the job in the predicted timeframe . The quality of their work was top notch . We love our freshly painted rooms and will definitely use them again when needed. Thank you Rudy and Anthony ! read more

A big thank you goes out to Rudy and Jose for the excellent interior paint job in my house. From the suggestions on paint, working around a fully occupied house, the perfectionist view on painting, funny commentary while painting, and of course the final clean up and walk through, A++ all the way! Rudy absolutely knows what he is doing and I am so happy with my beautiful walks. Jose is one of the hardest workers I have seen. He worked his butt off from start to finish and was a professional all the way. Thank you again Rudy and Jose. Stop by and say hello if you are ever in the area. Jeannine read more

As first time home buyers we were apprehensive about how to approach painting. Our home badly needed a fresh coat of paint and we reached out to Negrini painting. Thanks again Mr Negrini and we will always keep you in mind for all of our future painting needs read more

Great communication and a good experience. I called for a quote and he was prompt to come out. He wore a mask, was on time, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The paint on our house had faded after a shoddy paint job from the previous owner. Tony put us in touch with Rudy. We received multiple quotes, and Rudy not only came in the cheapest, but appeared to be the most knowledgeable as well. Obviously, we went with Rudy, and we were rewarded with a stunning paint job. He was very meticulous and came back to our home weeks later to ensure we were happy and touch up anything that was missed. Two of our neighbors actually hired him to paint their homes, based on the work he did on ours. Beyond the painting, Rudy did fantastic/seamless work patching our stucco (other companies recommended us finding and bringing in a stucco company to fix this before they started painting). We had our full house, fences and deck painted by Rudy and we are extremely happy. You can't find a better value, especially with the quality that we received with Negrini Painting. read more

I was having a pretty difficult time finding someone that had availability to paint the interior of my new home within the week. I contacted Negrini Painting based off of the stellar reviews I found. When he returned my phone call (the same day!) Anthony explained that his crews were also completely booked for the next four weeks. To my surprise, rather than turn me away; Anthony actually offered to come do the painting himself in order to meet my tight timeline! He showed up promptly the next day at 9am, with his helper Shane and a smile. My project took two days, Anthony & Shane did a great job despite the terrible Summer heat -and they kept me chuckling the whole time! His rates are fair, he's friendly and very easy to work with. I definitely plan on working with Anthony for all of my future painting projects! read more

It had been 5 years since we had our (shingled two story cape cod) house and detached garage painted by Negrini Painting. We were so impressed with the outstanding job done then that we called Tony back to have 'touch ups' on window sills and trim for upkeep. We had also removed climbing fig from the garage wall that left a terrible mess of Fig nodules and patches where some stucco came off during our removal. Tony's team: Ivan ( who we were thrilled with as he was lead on the team from 2015), and Miguel got right at it!!! They removed the nodules and completely re stuccoed the wall! Their attention to detail is 1000%! We had had our home painted in 2006 and needless to say that team (NOT Negrini), power washed one day and sprayed it the next. It looked horrible in a matter of 2 years. With the attention to detail that Negrini did in 2015 the color has never faded ( even though we did a green over the old cape Cod blue), never flakes off. It is just beautiful since they spent so much time prepping and priming. This time around we just needed upkeep touch ups on window sills and doors. We highly highly highly recommend Negrini painting. Stop looking anywhere else- these experts are prompt diligent detailed friendly and hard working!!!!! read more

Rudy and Jose did an excellent job. He was patient, prompt, and helpful. He gave a lot of good advice. It was time to paint our patio cover. Anthony Negrini came over and gave us a quote that was very reasonable. The paint job was completed in two days time and included replacing several rotten wooden boards. The painters were polite and professional and cleaned up the area 100% before they left for the day. Anthony responded quickly to my estimate request and scheduled appointment right away. I was moving fast so I wanted to try and get as much work done to my condo before move date. Tony was able to accommodate me and beat all the other bids without cutting corners in the scope of the work. His crew painted 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, hallway, doors and closets. They worked clean and efficiently on time to give me time to move in with a couple days to spare to let the paint dry. First let me say that they did an amazing job!!! They were more expensive than others, but well worth the price. Negrini Painting gets 2 stars from me. Anthony was prompt for our appointment, and he was thorough and polite. Based on the Yelp reviews, I wanted his bid for exterior paint on a 1-story, 1300 sq. ft. home w/lattice patio cover (the patio got all new wood replacement and stain about 1.5 years ago, so it doesn't require much prep at all). The home is in "pretty good condition" (his comment). His bid was very high. And by "very high", I mean 2X more than my next highest bid (5 bids total). In fairness, he did say that he is usually at the "higher end" price-wise, and 2X is certainly is at the "higher end"! I feel a little bad that I wasted his time, and mine.
