Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you--this place is an absolute treasure. When I walked in,…read morethe restaurant was cold, and no one was at the counter for the first five minutes, so I wasn't expecting much. Hence why I didnt take any pictures. But once I took my first bite, I was hooked. Hands down, this was the best gyro/pita-style sandwich I've ever had! I ordered a mix of lamb, chicken, falafel, and gyro meat, and every single bite was incredible. The flavors were bold, the meat was perfectly seasoned, and the sauces were out of this world. The bread, which was similar to naan, took everything to the next level--it was soft, warm, and perfect for wrapping up all that deliciousness. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful food that will blow your expectations out of the water, don't skip this place. It may not look like much, but trust me, it's worth it! I'm already planning my next visit.

Overall, if chicken kabobs were on the Cheesecake Factory menu, this version would be on the skinnylicious menu for those counting calories and preferring a healthier less indulgent version since flavors seem muted and textures appear lacking due to insufficient oil/grease.

Short: Fresh and made to order meals with a friendly staff…read more Long: After moving to VA from the Emirates, I wanted to share the food of the Middle East and India with my family. This place stood out in the reviews and has become a go to when I want nan and my food to be flavorful and done right. I have frequented this place enough to be recognized by the staff who always greet with a smile and "Hello, Brother." I recommend the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken as those are my go to.

The family that owns this quaint restaurant is from Karachi, so this is authentic Pakistani cuisine, not the typical flavorless kabob joint! They have a interesting menu with all the typical grilled and curried favs. I tried their chicken karahi (A.K.A. Chicken Qarai) and asked for it spicy and it was perfect! Lots of nice spice flavor, as well as decent heat. I also opted for their chicken biryani and it was spot-on! The chicken in it was flavored excellently and tender too, definitely not over-cooked and the rice was the proper texture, not too moist and gummy. There was so much food, I took half home and saved room for dessert, as they have home made kheer here. The kheer was really really good!! They're working on getting their food delivery set up too... Stop in and give them a try!

The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 stars is because of their food. My family and I enjoyed…read morethe food completely. It was a Friday night and we called in advance to see if there would be tables. Came in and goodness, the waiter or whoever working, it was tall guy with glasses, was very rude. Not welcoming at all. It wasn't where they came to you and take your order but we had to go to the register and place the other and that's fine. My family and I were situating what we wanted and my brother went to place the order. The same tall guy with glasses took our order. After my brother finished giving the order, my brother asked if the order can be repeated to be sure he didn't miss anything. As the waiter was repeating it, my brother didn't hear one item and asked if he could repeat it again. The waiter looked so annoyed and told my brother he needs to start hearing better... my brother addressing him respectful and told the waiter to relax and they both could have a respectful interaction. We were ordering almost $300 of food so if $300 was nothing to them, we could've taken our money elsewhere and had a good time. However my parents don't eat anything but Desi hence we let it go. The food started to come out. Food looked amazing and enjoyed every bit of it, even ordered for take out. I think another thing they could work out is stop feeding customers in foam papers. The plates are so flimsy and broke on me once. The inside of the restaurant was a nice place. Definitely shows their country and heritage. After we finished eating and it was time to pay, a sweet lady at the register was helping my brother out but because there was a couple of tables with the same name, she got confused about our order. And my brother was trying to repeat the items we ordered. Then the tall guy stepped in, more attitude and rudeness. I love the food. But I would never want to sit there and be serviced in person. I rather do takeout and avoid that rude man. Other than that their food is great. Do try!!
