Really nice place. The food is great, but honestly what I like the most is how welcoming the staff always are. They're friendly, respectful, and make you feel comfortable every time you come in. That kind of good service is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. To afghans, this place makes you feel you're in one of Kabul's classy restaurants!

I was excited to try this place after seeing it on Tik Tok. It was easy to find parking. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely empty, but people trickled in wholebI was waiting for my food. I ordered Bolani, a gyro wrap, and bread for $30. I took over 30 minutes for me to get my food. The bread was nice and warm. The bolani had nice flavor..tasted like samosa stuffing in between nan bread. The gyro was extremely disappointing. There was barely any meat in it, the meat was very unseasoned and extremely dry (almost jerky dry). I will likely not for back.

We once visited this restaurant. The food was good, but the prices were outrageous. Because of their kebab, we decided to go back. This time, we ordered takeout. We were told it would take 20 minutes to prepare. We arrived within 25 minutes, yet our order arrived so cold that the coldness was noticeable from the back of the bag. When we opened it, we saw that two orders were missing toppings, and the bread was burned on the edges. This was very disappointing. For that price, we expect high-quality food. It doesn't matter if you are rich or not; we work hard for our money. Clearly, they do not care about their customers' feelings--they only care about money. They have forgotten about honesty. AND day of judgment! WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT .

So happy they opened just five minutes from my house in Woodbridge. They have the best flavored chicken and I love them paired with the stewed chickpea side. So super delicious and huge servings. I've gone there twice in one week. Totally recommend this place but I'm torn coz I like when there no long lines. Haha

If you can stop by and give it a try- do it!! I passed by one weeknight and saw it packed out the door, and made a point to come back. Well worth the 15 minute wait, the food was fresh and delicious. It's beautiful inside the restaurant and has been recently renovated. It was also very clean. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. My partner ordered the chicken&lamb kabob with rice and I had the vegetarian combo with naan and rice. The veg combo was filling, and everything was well seasoned. Get extra yogurt & spicy sauce! The pricing is great considering the portions. We will for sure make this a regular spot for our weekly meal rotations, you should too!

A great new kabob restaurant in Woodbridge! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is clean and nicely appointed. I visited here for the first time today after seeing a friend's food pics from here, and I'm so glad I checked it out. They are located in Woodbridge on Route 1/Richmond Highway, right beside Dunkin/Baskin Robbins in a building that was a Roy Rogers several decades ago (for those who have lived in Woodbridge for a long time). The restaurant has been completely renovated and is bright with nice tables and chairs. The smells wafting from the grill promise an enjoyable meal. They also have rolling high chairs for your little ones. I ordered item A1 (boneless chicken kabob) and a bottle of water. The entree comes with one side and their warm freshly made bread. I opted for the chickpeas. So good! The chicken was hot, moist and flavorful, and the portion was generous. They have white, green, and red sauce but I asked for only white sauce as I do not enjoy spicy food. The entree also comes with onions but I asked them not to include them. My meal was excellent and I'll definitely be back. They also have fresh-made ice cream and crepes. I didn't check either out this time, but there's always next time!

Food is ok nothing special. Most Afghan food is a like. Visited three time order same dish for me that was their mix. Rice and bread served cold twice. Need improvement I do not came to Resturant to eat cold food. Customer service is average I have seen twice a guy eating bread while making it. Need improvement with cleaning table and trash. They have enough people I noticed to accomplish this issue.

scored some phenomenal hummus with fresh made naan for the at home snacking

The restaurant looks like a cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant, so it was a very casual atmosphere. I ordered a Guatemalan-Style Chicken Tamal and a Chicken Pupusa with a Fruit Juice Drink (Ensalada de Fruta). The Fruit Juice Drink was full of cubed apples and was on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing for sure. Now onto the food... Guatemalan Chicken Tamal - This has to be one of the best tamals I have ever had! I am used to the Mexican tamales that are on the dryer side, but their tamal masa was gelatinous almost like a custard, and there were big pieces of chicken meat inside. And the plus side is that the chicken was 99% meat and 1% fat! They did not skimp on the meat in this one. Chicken Pupusa - I am used to greasy pupusas, but their pupusa was significantly less greasy, and that is a HUGE plus. Also, these pupusas were less than $5.00 each and came with a huge side of cabbage. The cheese-to-meat ratio inside was also pretty decent; I would say 60% cheese, 40% meat. My husband absolutely loved all the pupusas he ordered and even bought some to take home to our family. We were served by one of the owners who was very sweet and spoke to my husband in Spanish and me in English; this means a lot to me because in other places, I tend to be ignored while they speak Spanish to just my husband. When we are back in Virginia, this will be one of our go-to spots for Salvadorean food. We are used to pupusas being over $5, but these pupusas were less greasy AND much more affordable.

Got a combo of chicken kabob and shami kabob along with a side of their borani banjan/eggplant dish. The eggplant was honestly one of my favorite things- it's a must get in my opinion. Homey dish with incredible flavors! Their naan is fresh and pairs well with it. The chicken was good, but I've had better honestly. The shami was a little disappointing as I expected more flavor and it was slightly dry, but good. Their rice was so tasty and I loved the sweetness coming from the carrots an raisins. Of course, the sheeryakh was great- quite a big portion for one person, but I loved the texture. It tastes very similar to the Indian/South Asian/Pakistani ice cream, "Kulfi." CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Service needs improvement. The whole time I was there I had to keep looking for waiters to make eye contact with to ask for menu, water, paying, etc. It took about 10 min or more for me to have to call a busy waiter over just to look at the menu- no one came over on their own. Things just took time for a Saturday night- plus they were hosting an event on top of this. Needless to say, I've never had service like this, but the vibe and food made me be not as harsh. Despite the service, this place is a must try for authentic Afghan cuisine. Can't wait to try more of their menu (and the borani banjan again) in the future!

We were also a party of five but were only given one menu to share so not very convenient. I ordered the Chicken & Shami Kabob and it came with a choice of white or brown rice, one side, and naan. The meal looked nothing like the photo on the restaurant's website. The portion was overwhelmingly rice with very little meat. None of the garnishes shown in the picture were included on the rice. For $24 I expected a much better presentation and a more balanced portion. Oh and the meat was kind of dry. Parts of our order were missing, some dishes that came out were incorrect. The experience felt disorganized and the food didn't justify the price.
