I went for my first time today and I don't think I will go back. I had a pedicure which was good and looks good but also a gel manicure that was done at same time as pedicure and the guy did my nails super fast and left so much red gel polish on my skin tips of my fingers sides - the job was super messy and he just walked away and never came back. A nice lady who works there noticed me looking at my nails and said what was wrong and I told her they look really messy. She helped clean it up and put more of a top coat on. The guys who did my nails did horrible. Bad first impression. read more

I went in to get a pedicure and was asked if I wanted acrylic on my big toes, which I said yes. The lady who did my pedicure layered acrylic over gel without asking if I had gel or acrylic. Supposedly, she gave me a "fill". I think it's ridiculous. I gave her an inspo picture that definitely looked nothing like. I was there for about 1 hour for this bad job. I let the wife's owner know, and her response was, " I'm sorry. Next time, you need to let me know before you pay. Definitely won't be coming back again. read more

I booked an acrylic fill and pedi online with Christina. When I arrived, Christina told me that she would do my nails and someone else would do my pedi. They got me seated right away, I selected the "luxury pedi" priced at 60$ (gel polish). I was expecting way more, the man doing my pedi focused on my legs vs my feet. In my opinion a pedicure should be feet focused, calves are extra. No scrubbing to the sole of my feet what so ever. Then halfway in the pedi, Christina came over to start my nails. I like to enjoy my pedicures and having someone working on your acrylic fill at the same time isn't very relaxing. Christina did a great job though and I will definitely go back to her but I will probably not return for a pedicure. read more

I had just had the worst experience at Green nail spa here in Napa and driving home decided to stop in to Lavender, as my daughter had recommended it. Several of her girlfriends go there regularly and have great experiences. They got me in immediately and fixed the poor job that Green nail spa had declined to repair. And I am so pleased with the result! The polish the quality the application are impeccable. This will be my go to place moving forward. 1) they don't tell customers to not talk on the phone. Shortly after my pedicure began a woman sat down next to me for a pedicure and loudly talked on the phone the entire time. She seemed like a regular and tipped well so who cares about anyone else's comfort I guess. 2) I asked for the same color for gel toes and dip gel nails. It does not match, two very different shades of pink. 3) not sure what happened with the nail polish but it doesn't look like it cured right on my toes 4) I had to ask for cuticle care and barely got any. My cuticles weren't pushed back and were only nipped exactly where I asked for them to be. This was my first time coming here and will be my last. Over $100 for gel pedicure and dip gel manicure is not worth this. read more

I spent over $100 for a dip manicure plus chrome and a regular pedicure. Two days later I had significant chips in my nails and the next day a chipped up pedicure. Funny thing was I only worked on my computer the days leading up to this whereas I'm usually banging up my hands at work with no problem when I get dip manicures. The feet are a mystery as I went to a wedding and otherwise did nothing to mess them up. Super frustrating I also didn't love the drilling that drew blood (and then they "dipped my nails in the pot "), eww! The person who checked us in was lovely. Our nail tech was efficient and very good, but was not friendly or patient. She did a really good job on our nails but we did have some cuts (she apologized) and she was very abrupt and impatient. While we left with beautiful nails, it was not fun, relaxing, or pleasant experience. We may go back and try again. They had great availability in scheduling, the location is convenient, and the salon looked clean. read more

I don't know why it is so difficult to find a decent nail salon in Napa but despite their many positive reviews, Lavender was another huge disappointment. Had a mani/pedi for a special occasion this weekend and nothing about my experience was comfortable or relaxing. I had a gel mani & regular pedi and was completely rushed, in and out in 30 minutes. No foot scrub or moisturizer. Thick, uneven coats of gel polish that started to chip in less than 48 hours. My cuticles were completely neglected. Maybe regular customers get more attentive service, but my experience was a sad joke and I definitely won't bother going back--HARD PASS from me! read more

This place is terrible. I'm actually writing this as I sit in the salon chair waiting for my nails to dry. I called in for a pedicure appointment for 1pm. 15 mins later, not even, it's currently 1:14pm and I'm done...?! That's ridiculous. I originally wanted a gel pedicure but they wanted an extra $20 on top of the classic pedicure which was $30. I still agreed to pay for the gel but then the lady I got literally rushed her work. I hadn't gotten a pedicure in a month, no way was I done in less than 15 mins. I will not be returning and I don't recommend this place for anyone. read more

Went in for a pedicure the man doing my pedicure ripped my nail on my toe on BOTH sides and when I had told the man not To file down a lot on my natural nail he kept doing to the point where it burn my nail. Payed $70 just for them to tell me it was my fault my nails ripped they glued some tissue on it and it's been 2 days and my nail ripped. I called and complained and they said it was my fault. Last time ill be going because it seems like it's always our fault they aren't gentle with there costumers. read more
